Cons: "I was asked to check my carry-on. I have used this carry-on more than 50x without an issue. I have even put it in the smaller compartments on smaller Bombardier jets. I don't have an issue with being asked to check luggage, but I resent being asked when others are allowed to take their carry-on onto to the plane without issue. Right in front of me while I was waiting for a baggage tag, others were being checked in with carry-on equal to mine and allowed to take it onto the plane. I can only surmise that my ticket limited me to one bag onto the plane, although they would not tell me this. This was not clear when I booked the ticket nor when I checked in on-line. I had a 40 minute connection in Zurich so was very concerned that my luggage would not make it. Luckily, it did make it to my next stop. Swiss Air seems to have different restrictions than other airlines which I have encountered before. I take ownership that I should be aware of a tickets restrictions but this was a multi-leg trip (5). However, I will tend to avoid Swiss air in the future, to avoid having to research their unique restrictions."

I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Cons: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

We were 50 minutes late leaving. This resulted in many of us either missing or having extremely tight (stressful) connections at CDG Paris."

Cons: "Call for stewards was not working and the temperature of the flight was miserable. Kept asking to reduce the cold and nothing. I had a window seat and there was no way to avoid the air/ac on my face the entire flight. MISERABLE!"

Cons: "Luggage....it is allowed to charge but they shouldn’t charge. During on boarding they communicate that because the cabin was full of hand luggage the rest of the passengers needed to dispatch their hand luggage for free. This occurs only because they charge to dispatch luggage when buying the tickets. So nobody dispatch luggage and those who dis became frustrated because they payed. This unfortunately occurs on all companies."

Cons: "Airline reservation staff is rude. LATAM smart phone app not integrated with their systems properly"

Pros: "The crew that flew us there was great"
Cons: "they overbooked the flights and the way they communicated it to passengers was a complete disaster. I was able to board and travel but I had to sneak out of the actual line and show my visa appointment receipt to a latam staff person. It was very hard to talk to the staff most of them were just screaming "go to the line" and were not really keen to listening to what passengers had to say. I found a latam person that wasn't really dealing with this situation and managed to get him to talk to other latam staff about my visa appointment. It was pretty stressful for me to have to deal with the possibility of missing such an important event without a good reason."

Pros: "Close to nothing. If i had to applaud something it would be the fact that you have an option to check in early via your mobile or laptop."
Cons: "LATAM was incredibly unprofessional, alarming, and entirely non-communicative. After a 3 hour delay that caused me (and tons of others) to miss a connecting international flight, LATAM’s telephone servers had the nerve to claim I was a no show and needed to pay them for my absence. This resulted in a long discussion where I was held on hold until they could adequately determine that yes i missed the flight because they held us late. This was the only way that i was able to avoid their charge to me for being a “no show.”"

Pros: "Good entertainment on board and the crew was fairly attentive, but not as attentive as on other airlines."
Cons: "Food was not great, but at least it was edible. Thought the crew could have also asked about refills more often."

Cons: "Boarding was not organized. A lot of food options but only one dish, missed the salad or other options compared to other companies such as Delta, Lufthansa, KLM and etc.. Drinks were ok, lacked alcohol options compared to other companies."

Cons: "Only one gate agent was boarding passengers, which made the boarding process very slow. I was assigned a seat on the aisle in front of the exit row. For a midnight flight, I was really bummed to find out that my seat would not recline! My leg room on the A321 was lacking in comparison with GOL."

Pros: "I missed my flight, latam's computer was down, I stayed at the airport for 16 hours with them telling me I can't refund, I can't reschedule, pretty much they took my money and left me stuck in Houston. I waited for this day for 6 months, I sold my car, just for this trip. never flying latam"
Cons: "customer service is the worst I've ever seen in my life.. worse then any other place I've gone, they will not even try to look into your situation, they took my boarding pass and left me stuck in Houston. $1,000 put into their pocket with no service rendered. I hate my life"

We reported the problem, the chief/supervisor flight attendant said that she was going to assign us new seats, she then disappear and did nothing to solve the problem. I spoke with another flight attendant requesting to speak with this supervisor again, she said that I rather voice my complaint through latam.com and the mentioned supervisor, not only lied to us, but never showed up. It appears that latam needs to reinforce their staff training or perhaps to renew their staff supervisors and train them to avoid unnecessary lies to their passengers."

There is no gap under the bulkhead to put your feet, so although you don’t get a seat in front of you leaning back, there isn’t enough room to straighten your legs out which on a 12 hour flight isn’t comfortable."
