Two other fellow travelers booked flight VA 7516 through Expedia for $218 (USD) one-way. I was able to open the same flight / departure time / price with Expedia but could not book. I then switched to Kayak and located this same flight (as I wanted to travel together with them), and it was for approximately same price. Upon check-in I was told it would cost $120 to check my luggage in (which I reluctantly paid). They indicated my ticket did not include this. I later discussed this with my two travelers and their check-in luggage plus a meal were included with their Expedia (Virgin Australia) ticket. Why was my Kayak (Virgin Australia) ticket so different from Expedia when our bookings were done about the same time? I no longer trust Kayak for future bookings."

Cons: "Customer service and ability to sort out technical issues were truly appalling. My touch screen monitor crashed and the controls that would enable me to alert crew members for any concerns also didn't work. Both issues happened twice. The second time, I informed them that if these technical issues continued to fail and couldn't be resolved, I needed to be placed in another seat, of which I specifically told them was not to be a seat far behind my current row seat. Instead, they went and offered me a seat that was 22 rows behind, especially after I had paid extra fees to sit in the seat I was given higher up the aisle. I also informed them that I wasn't feeling well and the closer I was to the exit when we landed, the better. They ignored these concerns. That is unacceptable considering that it was their system that was faulty in the first place that led to these problems. Their staff also failed to regularly walk the aisles to ensure customers were okay with the service. I've been on planes whereby the crew is constantly walking around to ensure everyone is being taken care of. For example, I had a great experience with Korean Air where I saw staff every 10-15mins checking on customers. Air New Zealand completely failed in this regard. When my system crashed the second time, because I couldn't call anyone in the crew using the controls on my touch screen, and the person sat next to me was asleep (didn't want to wake him up to use his device to call!), I waited 25-30mins before going up to the crew station to seek help. I had to wait an additional 10-15mins before I even saw someone at the crew station. There are some other issues I encountered but the above were the main ones. This is the first time I've actually had to criticize an airline for it's customer service. I've been travelling for over 25 years and never encountered what I did today. I certainly won't be flying with them again."

Cons: "Dear, Team Emirates Airlines Good afternoon, I would like to share my horrible Customer Experience that happened to me in my whole life experiences with airline services. On Sunday March the 13th my wife Dyma Gharaibeh and my daughter Retal Aly were travelling to Jordan on ur airways for the 1st time from 15 year's to try such service and to face this experience. I've been always dealing with Lufthansa airlines throughout my entire life and heard that emirates airlines serves passengers good service and hospitality so i said to myself why not trying them to my wife and daughter this time and see there service and what they can offer. But as shown to me 1st and last time to even mention on my mind to travel on this kind of terifying service ever. They had a delay in the dubai airport for an hour they changed flights so that they won't be late, but by the time they changed the flights so quickly to go to the other plan to go to Jordan the luggage of my wife and daughter were on the other plan that came from Dallas, Texas. The horrible mistake that was made is that luggages EK 021286 & EK 021287 & EK 021288 & EK 021289 was still in the plan that was coming from dallas and no one even checked that my wife Dyma Gharaibeh and Retal Aly was the only two passengers on the flight that were going to Jordan. Which i call in very loud voice unprofessional by all means for a huge airways like Emirates that represents the whole UAE. They arrived to Jordan with no bags at all and they stayedfor whole two days with out clothes plus the stress they were in for having that offal feeling that they lost there bags . The big huge complain from me today is that my wifes brother wedding was yesterday the day they received the bags at night which they received the bags after the wedding was over. .. They missed the wedding dress in the bag for both of them tell me the feeling of you as a huge company that should be aware of every single problem that could happen to the customers that deals with you. You made that day from being an amazing day full of fun and joy for them to get dressed and going to the wedding of her brother and be like everyone in the wedding to not going to the wedding because they didn't have enough time in a day to get another dresses for both of them. This nightmare was not taken into consideration the office in Jordan didn't answer at all for several times i tried to reach them and couldn't because of there lake of professionalism. Even after the bags arrived no body even sent an email or tried to check on the case or even if we r satisfied or not. Very very very poor service. Hell of a NIGHTMARE..... Seriously one word shame on you as a huge big company like you to have us have this disgusting experience with you guys Seriously, there is not enough words to express the anger i have inside of me from Emirates Airlines and showed share this disgusting customer experience everywhere. . I think this will be my last time in my entire life"

Cons: "Extremely overweight passenger next to me. It was awful, her body was in contact with me the entire flight. The most uncomfortable, hot, smelly, awkward flight Ive ever experienced. Its time you charge for 2 seats for people that are the size of 2 people. Not fair to other passengers to have to be so inconvenienced and extremely uncomfortable."
