Cons: "Our original flight was cancelled due to WestJet reasons (plane was not safe to fly) the following evening the flight was supposed to depart at 7pm we didn’t take off until 10:37 pm causing an arrival of 940AM into London instead of 7:23AM primarily because the crew they chose for this new flight was coming from Montreal so we had to wait for them to arrive."

The chairs were horribly uncomfortable with no lower back support and we were not even given pillows and blankets. There was also no free entertainment. I rented a tablet and had it taken away an hour before landing while I was in the middle of a movie. I might have been ok with that if the flight attendant had politely asked for it back rather than rudely waving and pointing while I stared at her blankly trying to figure out what she wanted. Next time I’ll pay a bit more for an airline that respects its passengers and our comfort."

Due to all of the misshaps with Iceland air I have had in the last couple weeks, I made sure on my returning flight to check in and pick the seats for myself and the family member I was traveling with for my returning flight from Gatwick to Iceland. Cons: "There were so many things wrong with our flight from Gatwick to NYC. The check in staff were rude and homophobic at check in, forcing my partner and I to separate for check in while we watched heterosexual partners check in together freely. The disabled toilet alarm broke as we descended into NYC and we listened to end-of-the-world death sirens as we were landing. It was not communicates that food was a microtransaction on flight and was so overpriced so we went nearly 13 hours without food because the flights were also delayed on the tarmac. The de-icing tow truck in Iceland was broken down so we were delayed two hours on the layover. On return, both Icelandair gates opened late. During the layover we were kettled in hot container units before 20 min before being bussed to the plane and held for 15 minutes. Then, the icing on the cake was landing back at Gatwick and seeing my brand new luggage I bought on the trip damaged with thr back pocked ripped out along the bottom seam. I will never again ride with these rude, price-gouging, apathetic amateurs."

I have now been travelling for nearly 30 hours without sleep, am stuck in Madrid with no certainty of when or how I will get home or see my luggage again, and am seriously seriously pissed off. There is no complimentary food service, even water is charged."

Cons: "I stopped at the Iberia check-in at Barajas in Madrid. They sent me to BA check-in, where I waited 45 minutes to find out that I should be at Iberia check-in. Then, Iberia check-in had to send me to last minute clerk or I would have missed my flight. Last minute check-in ended up being the same place and same clerk I began with."

Cons: "A porter checked our bags at the gate without asking us whether we were traveling beyond London, so the bags were never transferred to the transatlantic flight nor did they arrive in SF. It wasn't necessary to check them because there was plenty of room in the overhead bins when we got on the flight. We immediately asked a flight attendant to help when I realized they might not go through and he said he spoke to someone who caught and tagged the bags to go through, but it still didn't happen. It would have been easier if he had just brought them to us on the plane. Another women's bag was taken with all her baby supplies and bottles in it for a 16-hour travel day. Very frustrating for all of us."

The seats didn’t decline that well, and the temperature was either freezing or really hot."

I have been traveling for 20 years and I never felt so disappointed by an airline... I will not use this airline ever again"

Had to spend extra money for hotel room and car rental in Madrid because our final destination was Sevilla. Will never work with Azores or Kayak again. BTW, did we mention that while "working" with Azores to reschedule flight, we were booked to fly into an island off of Africa. Luckily, we followed up online with the changed itinerary."

Cons: "I'm an average sized skinny male (5'11"/ 180 cm), and I almost literally couldn't fit in my seat. These airlines are doing everything save on costs by jamming as many people as possible onto an aircraft...this makes for a terribly uncomfortable 12hr long red-eye flight. The food was mediocre at best (my gf actually got sick from it), and the boarding process was anything but organized, allowing anyone to board at any given time. It was very hectic and took far too long."

I was in the bathroom 3x during the flight and I usually don't use the restroom more than once during any given flight. I didn't like that when asking for a drink of water, they only give a half full cup of room-temperature water. On an 8 hour flight, I get dehydrated and could drink 2 water bottles alone. I don't like to be a nuisance to the attendants so I only asked for water twice. I just wish they would provide small personal bottles per customer. I also have never flown on TAP before so I wasn't aware of anything like how to call an attendant using the touch-screen or even that watching movies was free. It should be said over the intercom at the beginning of the flight."

The tea and coffee were awful!!!!!! The choice of movies,etc was very limited. Thank goodness it was a night flight and not too long!"

Why not put it in the ticket that Lufthansa and Air Canada work together and that both flights ref should show !! It would avoid a great deal of anxiety . Only offered 1 round if hot drinks over 9 hours ! Departure delayed by nearly 60 minutes"

On 2 of my 3 flights the staff were so wrapped up in there own life's, they did not manage to finish the safety checks before taking there seat. Overall a poor experience."

The app didn't advise that the flight was boarding (unlike other apps such as BA). I missed my flight and they insisted on charging me more than what I paid for the entire ticket just to return home. I got back to London to find that my luggage didn't make the journey. Staff at Air Canada were unfriendly and unprofessional."

I just would have been a problem for someone else. The steward made me feel as though I was at fault because I should have payed the extra 100 to have emergency exit seating, they tried to get me to sit in the very back row of the plain and sit sideways across the two seats which means I would not be able to sit next to my fiancé. The whole thing was embarrassing and very rude, maybe people of 6'6" should be charged for emergency exit!!"
