Pros: This is a beautiful hotel in perfect central position in Bath. The Spa was such a daily luxury in a week of Christmas shopping. Staff are kind, helpful and work graciously to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Cons: Housekeeping was inconsistent which was unexpected. We had to ask for some of the things that had not been replaced each day and found the room was not cleaned until after 4.30 one day which was unpleasant.

Pros: Great location, lovely manner from staff and fabulous that spa facilities were included for staying guests!
Cons: Our room was quite cold. The windows were open when we arrived (it’s December) and then the room had no heating/or maybe the wall controls on full just wouldn’t work but we made do with the bathroom towel rail heating. It was a small blip in an otherwise fantastic stay!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location. The hotel was finished really nicely. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The spa facilities are great.
Cons: Smelly bathroom from blocked drains. Our bedroom door was left open after being cleaned. Only being able to use the spa in specific hours at beginning and end of the day. (Should be more clear when booking)

Pros: Wonderful friendly staff. After check in the receptionist gave us a tour of the hotel upon arrival, which was helpful in locating the restaurant and spa. The spa although small was beautiful and the bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in.
Cons: Breakfast was extremely pricey for what was served. For £30 I purchased a stack of 4 pancakes thinking that I would be served a standard sized pancake. Instead I was served pancakes so tiny they could fit inside a tea cup.

Pros: Overall we were satisfied with our second visit to this hotel; the twin rooms have 2 double beds and are very well appointed and spacious. Nice to have Sky, but it was a bit of a fiddle to get it to work! The room and bathroom were clean; tea making tray available and water in the fridge. The beds are super comfy with good linen and a mattress soother (which unfortunately had a stain on).... The hotel is in a good location not far to walk to all sites in Bath, we parked our own car which is short walk away to the car park, but valet parking is available at extra cost. The reception and bars areas are pleasant to sit in. Staff friendly and professional.

Pros: The hotel facilities are great. It’s located in a really great location. Hotel Spa is small but has all the essentials - a beautiful indoor pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and I found the temperatures all very well adjusted. Staff from reception and Concierge are great, but the restaurant and spa..... oh boy, do they have a lot to learn about hospitality. They have a self imposed, self important attitude, they’re arrogant and they don’t really make you feel welcome. I was planning to potentially book a valentines mini break there, but their attitude just really put me off. A shame really, considering the hotel is so beautiful.

Pros: The hotel was stunning, we stayed for our honeymoon & all the extra unexpected touches such as the staff congratulating us made it so special. I’d also like to say the staff in all areas of the hotel were absolutely fantastic, you are made to feel so welcome. Gorgeous rooms, fabulous food - we’ve been lucky enough to eat in some top restaurants but the restaurant at the Royal Crescent Hotel has to be the best yet and the service is delightful. Beautiful spa facilities too. This hotel has absolutely everything. We will most definitely be back again and thank you so much

Cons: The shower is HOPELESS in both bedrooms. Such a nightmare trying to shower , so cold had to run a bath to warm up. MARIGOLD BEDROOM is above the bins . Pros: Extra large comfy bed. Wonderfully deep bath, spa was lovely and not very busy. Huge bathroom mirror with fabulous lighting to apply makeup.
Cons: The room we had (briar) had no mirror next to a plug socket, so you couldn’t see yourself to dry and style your hair. I assume the room was above the kitchen? As we heard a fair amount of clanging from bellow and the odd occasional chair and table being moved above our room.

Pros: We loved everything however the outstanding feature was the food ...wow, wow and wow. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The grounds are stunning and the rooms are spotless. The spa was lovely and rekaxing.
Cons: A very small observation...we were in the Marigold Room and there were children running outside our room as 11pm however I appreciate this wasn't the fault of the hotel. Parking also proved hard...very little room luckily I have a little car!

Pros: Location; Comfort of our Garden Suite; Bar; Breakfast; Porter could not be more helpful as was case with staff at breakfast and at reception
Cons: The Hotel is tired and requires a makeover; one of the bar staff was very unhelpful when I asked for canopes - I was told they were only for dinner guests - even though I offered to pay - not Relais Chateau!! but the Restaurant Manager came to the rescue;

6.3 Good
Pros: The location is excellent , food was very good at Breakfast and dinner. Large very comfortable beds. On site parking facilities. Spa treatment was excellent and a good quality facility
Cons: The room(42) we stayed in was style over substance. Very stylish but poor layout with no clothes storage at all and an open plan bath shower Wc area directly onto the bedroom( no partition and no privacy ) The bedroom had a television that was far too large and a sofa at the end of the bed far to close to the television . Shaving mirror over basin was unusable as it was a convex design distorting your image. Housekeeping was poor on the bed make up, it still looked as if it had been slept in. The hotel is a townhouse and the bar is located at ground floor The dining area is located on the lower ground with some elements of the spa. The primary spa area is located on basement level Female WC is at Ground floor . All other WCS at Lower Ground All very confusing and nothing at the same level . A lift is provided however. Steps up to annex set apart from the main building are inadequately lit and dangerous
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location is perfect and the treatments at the spa are amazing
Cons: We were very disappointed as we stayed here in the summer and loved it hence why we booked again. However we were put in room 30 downstairs next to the breakfast room where we could hear everything so were woken up at 6am and lay listening to everyone's conversations. We went for a relaxing day and night and came home exhausted.

Pros: The staff were attentive and very friendly, the hotel was set in lovely surroundings.
Cons: The accommodation was fantastic, the breakfast excellent. Our disappointed was the evening meal in the restaurant, we expected the prices to be high, and we dont mind paying for quality but flavour was not there. I am a chef by trade but not knowing how to make a basic bernaise sauce is not acceptable, the sauce had split and brought back with water, this had taken all the flavour. The main meal was also missing any seasoning. We were so looking forward to it and were let down.

Pros: Nothing. Imagine a premier inn but not as good next door to a Manor house that's open to the public. That's what this is.
Cons: Worse then a premier inn. Some lady on the front desk shouldn't be allowed to talk to customers

Cons: Rooms vary in size. Room 27 is awful. By main door and above function room. Couldn’t hear our tv when function on and then disturbed by everyone leaving and them moving tables back ready for breakfast. Complained and offered 50% refund for that night and a bottle of champagne and moved to a much better room upstairs. Allergies and special diets are not easily accommodated. No decaf coffee at breakfast and unable to provide decaf tea or hot chocolate. A gluten free diet was not understood by some staff and made to feel I was being awkward. Breakfast room quite cold in the morning and caffetieres not working properly. Some tables wobbly and table service a bit variable. Staff quite young. Car parking is extra when booking through this site at £10 a day.

Pros: Excellent location. Nicely decked out for Christmas. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Free WiFi. Discount on meal at the nearby No 15 restaurant.
Cons: Noisy road. No TV signal. Phone in room not working. Very expensive to stay here then have to pay to park overnight, and for breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel decor was really lovely, and although the room was quite small, it was fine for our needs, and super comfortable. Location was fantastic - 10 minute walk to the Abbey. Front desk staff were great.
Cons: The Christmas bar/restaurant looked incredible, but the staff obviously did not want to be there. We had to ask 4 times for the music to be put back on, and the Prosecco was VERY overpriced! If the atmosphere had been better, we wouldn’t have begrudged the cost so much. We weren’t able to purchase another bottle early evening as the staff closed the bar with no warning. The atmosphere was so dead and frosty which was such a shame, as the decor was incredible (apart from the fake fire which was switched off).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room & good breakfast
Cons: We were not made aware that Fire Alarms were tested on Mondays or that there was an even5 on in their Marque on the Monday Evening. Our room overlooked this area & it was quite noise. We were moved to another room, however, having originally been told that the event was for just 2hrs but in fact it went on a lot later.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Not a lot
Cons: The bedroom was about as big as a broom cupboard, light bulbs not working. The coffee maker didn’t work & it was on a shelf that was too high to work it (if it had been in working order of course) The bedside lamp was ridiculously huge for the tiny room. We had to move the table away from the wall to be able to plug in our phone adapter. Simply no thought gone into the room. In the dining room there was no salt and pepper on the table & a broken glass for the juice. Can I say more? YES!! VERY overpriced!! Therefore very unhappy!, The outside room where afternoons teas & drinks were served was very cold! I spoke to a member of staff to say how cold it was in there his response was,it is a Marquee. No offer of an apology or any suggestion of trying to put the matter right. The breakfast room too was freezing & I sat with my coat on to eat my breakfast! Glad I’d got it with me!

Pros:
Cons: We were travelling around UK by car during September and stayed in total in 26 different hotels. This one was the worst. The room was extremely small, the bathroom was awfully tiny. The receptionists were quite unfriendly. And a funny thing was that they did not let us leave the car for a couple of hours at the parking while we wanted to walk a bit around the city. The worst place we´ve seen!!!!

Pros: Location was excellent, easy parking on site, I would use the Hotel again, evening late bar also good. Breakfast & room very nice.

Breakfast was very nice. Buffet selection was impressive especially with the additional made to order options. The breakfast staff was so wonderful that they even served me when I mixed up the times and arrived late. They were very professional and friendly.

Pros: Location excellent. Majority of staff friendly and helpful. Decor downstairs was nicely done. Parking facilities although small and someone blocked the entrance
Cons: Bar very limited for choice and miniatures used after a certain time costing £9 each. Not keen on buffet breakfast but personal. Choice not made aware of supplements could have had at breakfast. Didnt like one of the receptionists talking about a customer and their bill in ear shot. Other receptionists were lovely and courtious. 17.50 per day for parking. The cost of the room. is more than enough to cover the parking fee.

Pros: Reception staff very good. Especially "Bev".
Cons: The staff on night duty are poor. Returning after a meal out, at only 11pm, we couldn't get a nightcap in the bar. No one around. None of us were under 50, or drunk , or disruptive, I would have thought that was a perfect revenue stream for you. We told one staff member who was waiting on us over lunch in the bar area about the lack of towels in the ladies toilet, she responded with we would have to tell reception, its nothing to do with bar staff. Television reception is poor in room 324. As I spent a night in, due to illness, it was frustrating.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A very clean hotel in an excellent location.
Cons: Room 101 was classed as a double room but was simply too small. Yes you can fit a double bed in the room but you barely have enough room to walk around it. In my opinion this should be treated as a single room only.

Cons: There was nothing that was a problem that wasn't quickly resolved by very help staff.

Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, clean and had a wonderful view. Breakfast was all you expect for a continental meal.
Cons: The noise from the bar! People shouting and screaming and music blaring until gone 1am
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience of our visit.
Cons: The confusion over the booking on arrival was quite upsetting - we were told there was no one of the name of Wright booked in, so after a much heated discussion, we left the premises....I returned a few minutes later to ask if for some reason, my sisters name, who was my guest was on the booking form and were told they had a room in the name of Wormald. How this came about I have no idea but in the end it didn’t detract from our having a lovely stay. The hotel was certainly value for money.

Pros: Very comfy bed and the location for xmas market was brilliant
Cons: The bathroom needs a paint and a clean up

Pros: It’s in @ great place

5.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent and the staff very helpful
Cons: Our room was extremely small with no where other than the bed to sit on. The en-suite was tiny, our shower cubicle at home was the same size, with no room to use comfortably. We were also at the front of the hotel and it was very noisy as there were several bus stop outside and late night revellers waiting for buses. On the good side we were provided with earplugs!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast staff excellent. Limited range buffet breakfast but the boiled eggs were great. Lots of nice, hot coffee on demand. Location excellent.
Cons: Arrived at 14:45 but wasn't allowed to check in. Had to drop my bags at reception and return later. Shared bathroom clean but basic, down a half flight of stairs to get there though, not ideal walking up stairs with just a towel around your waist. No room in bathroom (shower, wc and vanity) for hanging clothes. Rooms ok but a little worn. Fairly clean but flaking paint on window frame let that aspect down.
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Room was well equipped and spacious for a single, just neede some TLC
Cons: Room I was allocated really needed a little refurbushing, even a coat of paint would have made it look better
4.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were friendly. Location was fine
Cons: The room was cramped, no lift and up three flights of stairs with a arthritic knee. Bathroom very dated
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Location near attractions and green space, tasty breakfast In a nice room, pleasant staff, beautiful and clean room.
Cons: Loud drinkers on the street below windows makes in hard to sleep with windows open, but lack of air conditioning makes it impossible to close the windows. Wi-fi has limited functionality. No parking on site or nearby. Expensive.

Pros: Central location and ability to park under hotel.
After, initial Reception problems, there were no complaints about the hotel.
Cons: Cost of said parking - although discounted by hotel. Phoning the evening before our visit we were told by Reception that the Red Letter "Chocolate Experience" was definitely not at the hotel, although this was the venue given to us. I rang the next morning, as we had a 4 hour journey to get to Bath and Reception said they would check and phone us back. An hour later I rang again to be told - "Oh, yes at 11 a.m." I then said "No, 2 pm" the reply was "Oh , I guess so".

Pros: The location was great. The young lady on reception was lovely and very pleasant who tried her hardest to accommodate our needs. The renovation will be fantastic when the heating is sorted out.
Cons: The heating wasn't working in our room the beds felt damp and it was very cold. Was moved to another room, the room only had 1 Queen bed and 1 pull down sofa bed. We took this room although it meant 2 of us had an uncomfortable night on a sofa bed. Our previous room had 2 double beds and a single pull out bed. There were 4 adults myself, my 2 sisters and my 81 year old mum. Although the staff were amazing and tried their hardest to move us so we were all together (this was due to personal circumstances) and they did give us a 30% reduction on our room. I feel the hotel should have had the rooms and facilities double check as this room was obviously newly renovated and obviously they hadn't checked that the heating was all ok
7.0 Good
Pros: Some of the staff were excellent. Bar facilities were poor and expensive. Room was small with expensive internet. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Room and bed could have been bigger. Some staff had little knowledge of the area. Overall impression was very poor for a Hilton. bar service and facilities were very poor. Not good value for money

Pros: Location is close to the historic town center.

Pros: Location good. Room pretty much as expected
Cons: Initial check-in welcome was poor. Car park while convenient is old, dingy and too small for today’s cars! Bathroom way too small.

Pros: Staff were efficient and helpful. Room was clean tidy.
Cons: For a small room, ugly building, tired window and no breakfast the price seems unjustified
