Cons: "The area we were put in prior to boarding was just a continuous weaving queue and was quite crowded and stuffy"
Cons: "It was freezing we asked 3 times to have air con adjusted ...plus other passengers ask too . Nothing was done . Stag and hen people on flight... shouldn’t be served alcohol on flight if they seemed drunk already. People wouldn't sit down even with seat belt signs on..."
Cons: "Boarding took long time took ages for a coffee . Stag and hen parties very loud and rowdy"
Pros: "Short flight so not much to expect"
Cons: "We were left sit on the runway after landing waiting for a spot to park up"
Cons: "Check in and lagged bag"
Pros: "Service good"
Cons: "LEG ROOM TIGHT"
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "Very noisy people, very drunk people and like in all Ryanair flights, the staff has to keep giving people alcohol, so they were getting even more drunk. Not a good experience when all of them starts standing like in a bar on top of your head and raise the volume of the voice for no reason. Also from the time we landed until the time we were allowed to leave the aircraft, 15 minutes passed. Without anyone telling us for what reason. Very annoying..."
Pros: "The pilot and safety tannoy is not loud enough"
Cons: "We are a family with a three year old and have been separated by the allocation system."
Pros: "The price is generally good"
Cons: "Ryanair broke my bag and damaged my other bag"
Pros: "Loved priority boarding with 2 bags, very smooth. Left on time, arrived early. Comfortable enough for a 1-hour flight."
Cons: "Website said we must get boarding passes stamped or we wouldn’t be allowed on flight, and we wasted time waiting in line at check-in desk only to find out we didn’t need to get a stamp after all. The constant ads were annoying of course."
Pros: "I like nothing about Ryanair"
Cons: "I read their policy about checking bags four times to make sure I understood. The check in staff was rude and treated me like I was stupid. About half the people in line to check in also had to go to another line to pay the fee to check a bag, and go back in line to check in for the flight. Boarding was a disaster. The inflight service was them asking you to buy perfume. Not worth the cheap ticket - at all!"
Pros: "Enjoyed the lasagna that I ordered, surprisingly good!"
Cons: "Under the circumstances, the staff coped well with certain difficult passengers. Noisy passengers are my pet hate especially when the safety drill is being read out."
Pros: "Only option available at the time. I would not have flown Ryanair if there had been any other airline flying the route in the time slot. Actual flight was fine, but the process from booking the flight to gettin aboard was horrible."
Cons: "Rayanair made the transaction as difficult, uncertain and unpleasant as they could. From the moment the booking was complete, a series of email demands, warnings and impossible conditions ensured that it was never clear whether we and our baggage would get on the flight. The initial price was unreasonably low and the eventual cost was twice what was quoted but it had to be paid as a series of penalties over several days. The contract staff in Athens were clearly demoralized, embarrassed and apolgetic, but had no flexibility to resolve issues in a reasonable way."
Pros: "Fast flight nice staff"
Cons: "Seats are small"
Cons: "Being delayed an lied too"
Pros: "Cheap and convenient"
Pros: "Value for money, this was good."
Pros: "flight attendant was nice"
Cons: "hidden fees, unfair pricing on baggage, not the most organized airline service as well."
Pros: "Price was right. Very short flight so it was okay. Price was good."
Cons: "Called to gate BEFORE plane even arrived. Left to stand like cattle for over half an hour. Not a seat in sight. Way too much for my elderly husband."
Cons: "Everything was great!"
Pros: "Everything was very good"
Cons: "Due to a malfunction on our previous flight's plane which resulted in a 3hr delay, we missed our connection flight on RyanAir. They didn't accommodate us at all and we had to purchase a whole new flight, that departed 10hrs later but couldn't check in for 8 hours to get past security. So we had to just hang out at Athens Airport for 8hrs with all our luggage and minimal services after traveling for 15hrs."
Pros: "Great staff, very helpful and quick with boarding, quick journey"
Pros: "We were not called"
Cons: "We missed the flight due to not being called over the tannoy and the next flight was 710pm and was another £200, also it meant that we missed the show that we were booked in for as it was a birthday present for today. Staff on the ryannaire desk was not very friendly or understanding to our situation."
Cons: "I was charged 62 eu for my carry on. It was about 1in to tall."
Pros: "Crew was friendly and professional"
Cons: "Seats don't recline, no seat back pocket"
Pros: "Flight was fine"
Cons: "We never got the email that we had to check in. As a consequence my wife and I had to pay for our tickets again."
Cons: "to Whom it may concern. hope all is well, i was so disappointed to be charged 198 euros for the simple reason that I didn't check in and didn't add baggage. I can understand that this is a way to make money out of it but it was too much for it. I was okey about it until I went on the plane and had the cabin crew rushing at me preventing me to stand up to pick my phone from the locker above me for the reason that she's giving instructions... she had a good reason but after she finished it I tried to get up knowing that the flight was delayed for 35 minutes and still she didn't let me stand thought other people behind her where getting up... and she insisted to open my camera bag and get me the phone out of it rather then just giving me the bag, she smiled in a sarcastic way at the end... I asked her to put the camera bag next to my hand bag but she's didn't want to listen and she wanted to put it where she wants... not to mention the very bumpy landing and very fast he was almost run out of the runway, it was scary. I hope you'll read this thought u asked for my opinion Best g"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Tight seating"
Cons: "Still could do with just another couple of inches more space."
Cons: "Late. No explanation. Left standing on runway also in the heat."
Cons: "Don't even get water on flight pretty cheap"
Pros: "Straightforward online check-in process Priority boarding when paying for seats during check-in"
Cons: "Prepaying for baggage weight Requirement to print boarding passes No seats at gate to wait for boarding"
Cons: "Charged €62 each for "not checking in online 4 hours or more before" when i thought I had checked in the night before via the email I received"
Pros: "The flight arrived on time and the plane was clean. When flights are this cheap I think it's naïve to expect anything more."
Cons: "Most of the bad things about Ryanair are consequences of their no-frills setup. People who fly with them have made the choice that low price is more important than luxury. The miserable bits about flying with Ryanair are: - The terminals/gates are frequently sheds (Grenoble, Bergerac), or in bigger airports the most distant and least well appointed (Liverpool). - Very little consideration is given to customer service (such as announcements for delayed flights). - The planes are as basic as can be, as is the service. - The scratch cards, food, drink, and all the "extras" you'd get as standard on other airlines such as included baggage, seat choice etc are all ways to boost profits given the low fares. - "They always leave late" - my theory is that the flight times are exaggerated so that they arrive on time at the expense of departure times, i.e. extra time is built in to the departure time to make up for cleaning / other gate delays. In short, flying with Ryanair vs KLM, BA, Virgin or Lufthansa is like taking a long distance Megabus instead of booking a seat on the train. It's cheaper. It's cheaper because it's a bit rubbish and a bit inconvenient. If you want a flight that's nicer, pay for it. Stop moaning about Ryanair."
Pros: "The crew was friendly."
Cons: "There was a charge to check in - which I attempted to avoid by checking in online but I didn't have access to a printer so there was a charge to print my boarding pass. A charge to check bags (since they wouldn't let us carry on - additional $70) there was no food (it was a 55 min flight so that makes since.) The seats were cramped and hard. And for whatever reason the landing was very hard/abrupt that people screamed. If I had the choice I wouldn't fly this airline again."
Cons: "I asked to have my ticket moved up two days which it was for a flight that wasn't full and was flying out in a hour but instead of using me to fill a seat and use my old ticket to sell they charged me a fee to change the date which was more than I originally paid for the first ticket then I had to pay for baggage wasn't included in my ticket like other airlines do. I was not the only one another guy at the counter was being charged extra for something stupid. He also stated he would not be doing business with Ryan Air again. I also will not recommend them to anyone. My flight was an hour late departing and we never were told why when I asked I was told don't worry about it in a very rude tone by the Flight attendant. During the flight it was more like a sales pitch over and over being asked if we wanted to buy refreshments instead of them being provided like other airlines. They also tried to sell me make up and perfume lastly they bothered us about donating to charities. It was a 1020pm-1120pm flight I would of loved to sleep or relax with it being so late not be hounded for money."
Pros: "The price of the ticket."
Cons: "Everything else. The seats were the smallest I've flown in a very long time. The boarding process was chaos. The flight attendants spent more time trying to sell us perfume than they did providing any type of service, such as a beverage service. In fact, they charged money for beverages (a lot too!), as well as pretty much every other aspect of the flight experience. How does it make any sense to charge you money for checking in for your flight at the airport if you have to visit the check in counter either way? Really crappy airline, I would only fly them or recommend them to someone who is also trying to pinch pennies wherever they can."
Cons: "Chair does not decline"
Pros: "The staff was helpful, I was not stressed out about couple of kilos overweight for luggage. On return they checked in my carry on free of charge. Flights were on time, efficient and no unnecesary delays. The overhead speaker was only so loud it would hurt my ears. Thank you!"
Cons: "The overhead speaker painfully loud."
Pros: "Staff was friendly"
Cons: "Extremely poor organization at the airport checkin kiosk. Not enough staff. Huge lack in instructions and assistance. No proper lines at all. Tickets are cheap but one piece of luggage to check in is very expensive. Can't even get a cup of water for free on the flight. It may be a low fare, but the stressful experience is absolutely not worth it. Will never fly them again."
Cons: "Everything. They charge to print out the tickets. It's insane. I will never fly them again."
Pros: "It was a steady flight"
Cons: "4 hour delay"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Poor food selection for 3 HOUR flight"
Pros: "Everything ran on time and the crew was pleasant."
Cons: "The person driving the bus from gate to plane was somewhat reckless and made us uneasy. Otherwise all was great."
Pros: "Quick flight crew helpful"
