Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Cons: "More comfortable seats"
Pros: "Crew excellent, especially as they dealt with delay due to earlier medical event"
Cons: "Not really. Although pushback delayed, arrival was 10 minutes early"
Cons: "Get more organised. There is no point checking the passports on the plane door when they have already been checked at the gate, especially when people are waiting in the freezing cold to board the plane."
Cons: "Courtoisie, respecté les horaires"
Pros: "Ryanair works very well if you follow the instructions. Check in day before departure - Don’t bring too big or too many bags onboard. Pretty perfect flight for us."
Cons: "Fellow passengers not preparing for check in and bringing too much luggage then complaining for 10 minutes while everyone else has to wait. Ryanair only had one check in / bag drop. Should be automated or more staff. Took forever. (Ok 30min and only 3 ppl ahead of me in queue)"
Cons: "Not waiting in the cold for 15minutes before boarding the plane"
Pros: "It was ok. Nothing more. Crew was helpfull if needed"
Cons: "Kayak... I booked a flight from Eindhoven - Alicante AND return!!! But Kayak only talked about the trip to Alicante..."
Pros: "Great flight"
Cons: "Everything was great"
Pros: "The crew was helpful and friendly, priority boarding was super speedy and the food was served promptly (to my neighbouring passenger not me)."
Cons: "The seats were dirty and the plane could've done with a clean, plus I ended up with stiff knees because of how squished I was."
Cons: "Every thing was perfect . Thanks"
Cons: "Airplane was very hot when boarding and didn’t cool down till about 20 minutes before landing."
Cons: "The crew can be nicer"
Cons: "It was freezing we asked 3 times to have air con adjusted ...plus other passengers ask too . Nothing was done . Stag and hen people on flight... shouldn’t be served alcohol on flight if they seemed drunk already. People wouldn't sit down even with seat belt signs on..."
Pros: "Nothing in particular"
Cons: "Quicker boarding. More leg room. More comfortable seats. Long wait for drinks or snacks"
Cons: "I did not take the flight. I could not get my money back."
Cons: "The announcements made by the main air steward were mostly unintelligible due to a very strong Spanish accent."
Pros: "Priority boarding and luggage storage."
Cons: "The crew had no control over rowdy/drunk passengers. A shame as young children present. Not one request to calm down and refrain from shouting and swearing. Very uncomfortable and intimidating flight. Will not fly Ryanair again"
Cons: "The flight attendant was so mean"
Pros: "Online facilities"
Cons: "The police for handbags"
Pros: "not a lot"
Cons: "I paid for extra legroom in row 2?There isn't any and to radd insult to injury the person next to me had been allocated his seat without paying any more than the basic fare.I spent most of the flight in a vacant standard seat which gave me more leg room than than that which I had paid for.It was a total ripoff."
Cons: "Airport was too far and the facilities are shite. The waiting for embark is way too long and no one informs you about anything."
Pros: "Queue was long but still boarded quickly,"
Cons: "Providing even simple entertainment for kids e.g. colouring sheets would have helped them cope with the flight."
Cons: "Unfortunately, I had no other option than flying low-cost. Bought the most expensive ticket I could to be in first row and have enough overhead bin space, but that still did not help the situation of a very disorganized boarding, very uncouth flight attendants, uncomfortable seats, absolutely no free drinks (not even a bottle of water), constant selling of useless things, people using the toilet in the front, obnoxious travelers, and getting yelled at. Also, contrary to what was suggested on the Ryanair web site regarding fast check-in, priority boarding and access to lounges, none of those Flying 200+ legs per year on Star Alliance flights in business and up, I truly hope I never have to take such a horrendous flight again."
Pros: "It was exactly as booked, Got rid of bags quickly, boarded easily(priority) crew were fine I expect. I slept through whole flight. Didn’t have any food and didn’t have any entertainment. Took off and landybsng on time."
Cons: "I’m fed up with that bloody music when they land."
Pros: "Flight was good"
Cons: "Check in was mad"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Flight had group of youngsters who should not have been allowed on flight. They displayed rowdy behaviour and swore and gestures throughout flight. Staff did very little to try and stop them until other passengers started to complain."
Pros: "Reasonably priced. Check in was quick and easy. Boarding was easy"
Cons: "Seats are very cramped and uncomfortable. I’m 179cm and it’s a tight enough squeeze for in the seats."
Pros: "Getting off"
Cons: "Paying for hand luggage plus the then obligatory and unnecessary early boarding. having to pay to sit next to my children The warm cold drinks"
Cons: "The passport check at Marseille is so poorly managed that they made nearly every passenger late and an elderly woman was humiliated as she had to climb under barriers. The response from the Ryanair representative? “You’re flying low-cost. What do you expect?”"
Pros: "You get what you pay for, it's a budget airline everything designed tfor you to pay extra"
Cons: "As above"
Pros: "Initial fare"
Cons: "Because of its wheels, my suitcase wouldn't fit their dimensions for gate check and they charged me 50 euros before boarding. They could have waived the suitcase through or offered to upgrade me to Priority, but they preferred to make an example of a passenger. They make you parade with your suitcase to the front of the line to "prove it." I will not fly on Ryanair again."
Pros: "Enjoyed the lasagna that I ordered, surprisingly good!"
Cons: "Under the circumstances, the staff coped well with certain difficult passengers. Noisy passengers are my pet hate especially when the safety drill is being read out."
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Pros: "Was quick and easy"
Pros: "The price."
Cons: "Thę policy to make sure you do not sit with your family and have to buy seats to make sure you are all sitting together. The salaries of the staff are the worst in the industry."
Pros: "It’s nice flying into Alicante where often those awful automatic passport machines give way to mails checks so much faster"
Pros: "Price and punctuality"
Cons: "Families have to pay extra to sit together. Children should automatically be seated with their parents. Basic safeguarding standards should be priority, not making more money out of necessity."
Pros: "all airline staff caring and helpful"
Cons: "Bumpy Landing! Very expensive for a very basic service"
Cons: "Birmingham airport is awful the facilities the infrastructure the waiting the queues for security 0/10"
Cons: "Excessive price for a check in luggage. It is ridiculous. Outrageous."
Pros: "Very punctual and smooth flight"
Cons: "Seats could not be reclined. Not much space for carry ons."
Pros: "The price"
Cons: "Delayed again!"
Pros: "Once boarding began, it was efficient. Service was polite and efficient."
Cons: "Narrow seats, poor selection of drinks and food."
Pros: "Low-cost flight. Very affordable. Easy check-in online. Clear policies. Friendly staff. Comfortable flight. Tips: Print out you boarding pass. Pay ahead for check-in or extra luggage. Expect to pay extra if you print your ticket at the airport, pay for luggage at the airport, opt for a reserved seat. Don't expect complimentary snacks and drinks (available for purchase). Their Sky Mall magazine is the entertainment and gets passed out (recommend you bring your own entertainment). These are all necessary to keep these flights very low cost! It is worth it!"
Pros: "Room for my bag."
Cons: "Changed Gates at boarding time, twice. Taxied for almost an hour before take off. I was on an aisle seat and the crew kept bumping into me, somehow even when I leaned the other way."
