Somehow we wound up with seats right next to the bathroom door, which would have been a pretty uncomfortable situation for a variety of reasons, but the flight wasn't full, and she helped us find a suitable place to sit. Also, my wife and I usually take our tea with honey vs. milk and sugar. Even though honey is usually one of the options for tea, she found a way to accommodate our request. The lunch meals were the best I can remember in a long time on an airline flight. They might have been the best I've ever had. The chicken curry was authentic, flavorful and spicy. Frankly my outbound flight had problems. My luggage got damaged. The transfer experience in Manchester left a LOT to be desired. I wasn't planning to use Virgin Atlantic again, but this flight crew (Daniella especially) redeemed Virgin Atlantic. They were attentive, pleasant, diligent."

I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Customers waited over 30 minutes for bags to arrive, which arrived at a different belt than what had been originally scheduled. There were no AA staff in sight when we arrived in NY either. I will do my best not to fly AA again."

The leg room was alright for me being 5’6” but I’m not sure how anyone much taller would fare. The seats themselves were similar to a budget domestic airline. Fine when you’re only going a few hours, but on a transatlantic flight it really started to get to my back :("

Cons: "We booked flights with more than 75 mins connection time in Madrid but then the airline changed their schedule which reduced our connection to less than 55 mins. I was traveling alone with my 5 & 7 year old and we had to run non-stop from our 1st domestic flight to the international one, changing terminals, passing passport control (huge lines), and another security. No help from Iberia at all in terms of providing any assistance like a shuttle bus, quick passage thru passport or security. And they were nonchalant in terms of “if you miss your connecting flight, it’s your problem...”. Come on, we paid $4,500 for 3 tickets, and deserve better customer service than this, specially when you changed the flight schedule for your operational reasons!"

Cons: "I didn't like the fact that the flight was delayed over an hour with zero explanation as to why. just sat in the hot plane with no reason or explanation."

Pros: "Good, quick flight!"
Cons: "Being told that we could not bring cabin luggage on board with us when there were empty seats and luggage space around us."

Cons: "Sits are too tight. Honestly impossible to be comfortable"

Pros: "Finnair landed their plane so smoothly...."

Pros: "Left on time."
Cons: "Plane is extremely old and should be put to sleep. Business class on this plane means younger an empty middle seat and narrow standard seats. Not worth it for business, check airplane model before you book."

Pros: "The business class seat was extremely comfortable."
Cons: "The touch-screen was very difficult to navigate. It didn't respond very well when touched."

Pros: "Relatively cheap flight"
Cons: "Zero legroom. My legs were in aisle."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Iberia allows kids to abuse other passengers. I asked a flight attendant to stop this abuse after I was bumped in head a number of times by a kid that was jumping across a row a seats in front of mine ,the flight attendant told me that I should tolerate this abuse because it was from a kid,then proceeded to tell me that if I did not want to go throughout this abuse ,I should fly in a private plane. I felt irate at such response from a flight attendant and responded that I will never fly Iberia again. I wanted the attendant to talk to the parents and ask them to control their kid from abusing the adjacent passengers.I felt the impulse to talk to the crew chief but decided against it simply because I would do them a favor if they listened. Truthfully I think carriers with such attitudes deserve to go bankrupt and I hope they do."

Cons: "In flight entertainment didn't work and crew wasn't concerned and didn't do anything about it."

Pros: "Very bad organization Changed seats for everybody and no priority to board"

Pros: "Too long to check in not enough counter open , I was at the airport at 0500 for 0745 flight almost missed my flight when you don’t have the choice to do it online. Nothing is offered on the flight not even water spacialy after running around to find the gate, not on time made international connections difficult"

Pros: "All went well"

Cons: "Extremely uncomfortable and no food or drinks with basic fares (have to wait for separate paid cart). Watched a sick woman be told to go away when she asked for water."

Cons: "The gate changes, the late start, bad or no info or help from front desk or onboard personnel regarding your connections"

Cons: "The stewardess spilled coffee on my leg and didnt apologize. then after bumped me in the head with her elbow and did not apologize."

Cons: "For the first time ever an airline lost my luggage. I fly several times a year and thus was my firat time flying Iberia. What a headache and inconvenience."

Pros: "Took forever to board. Had to take a bus to plane. Last on, no overhead space."

Pros: "Great flight overall. Good food, pleasant crew. Easy boarding process"
Cons: "they had fancy touch screen TVs that at the beginning of the trip showed all the movie options... They then never activated during the entire transatlantic flight after takeoff."

Pros: "My flight went smooth and on time. I think we were early. The service is impeccable. Most in-flight meals are pretty crummy if you get one at all. The flight I took wasn't packed somthere was plenty of room. Even if it was there was still a fair amount of space. The entertainment was way better than the ole " everyone get to watch the same thing. Wi-Fi, new releases, even some classic 80's. if you get bored on this flight you really don't deserve to fly internationally."
Cons: "I"lol have to fly them again and find some fault. They worked on my flight and my Mother flew with Iberia and had the same good impression."

Pros: "a non event flight - meal was ok, flight attendants helpful"
Cons: "airport in london - waited for hours to find which gate to used - sent us across to the wrong side and then only 40 minutest to board and we were running to take underground rail back to other side and find correct gate."

Pros: "Good and beverage selection was great"
Cons: "Delayed departure I'm 6'4" and business seat is small Also crew should improve kindness and attention."

Pros: "Crew was nice and entertainment options were great."
Cons: "Boarding process out of Miami international was disorganized and unpleasant. Crew did not have control over the order for boarding and it became a bit of a mob."

Pros: "On my return flight to the United states, I got to fly with Iberia airlines. After flying my first segment with British airways, I wondered if the Spanish airline could keep up with BA's standards. Well, Iberia not only met the standards, but raised the bar! I am not sure if the fact that this was a day flight (unlike BA's red eye trip) or the fact that it took 2 more hours, but the crew served a full lunch, a snack AND a light meal, when with British i only received one full dinner and a morning snack."
Cons: "I'm not sure if it's the European dryness, but though helpful, the flight crew did not looked friendly."

Pros: "Take-off and landing was timely."
Cons: "Really disappointed with a lack of service. On the 8 hour flight we had one meal service within an hour of take-off and one within an hour of landing. No water or checks or anything for almost 6 straight hours, unlike my prior flight. I had to finally get up and ask for water. Very disappointed."

Pros: "The price,. The plane. The food and the intertanment"
Cons: "Could be perfect if the service in the flight was better"

Pros: "The movie selection was okay. The plane didn't crash. Our luggage arrived safely."
Cons: "The boarding process was disorganized and took very very long. Thus we left late. The crew wasn't particularly attentive. We were given seats in the last row and couldn't recline at all for the long flight. Since we booked our seats over six or seven months ago this was a disappointment. Because we were in the last row we got the food last. It wasn't particularly tasty. There was no choice in food. They just dropped some beef dish on or trays. The woman ahead was a vegetarian. The flight attendant told her her only option was to eat peanuts. Extra water was never offered. The breakfast sandwich with ham and cheese was inedible. It was cold and tasteless and difficult to chew. I've been on about 30 international flights. This was one of the three worst ever."

Pros: "The entertainment was readily available."

Pros: "Crew was friendly and accommodating."
Cons: "Seats were next to the bathroom in the middle of the plane and passengers have no regard for your comfort. They lean on your seats, leave the stinky bathroom door open constantly-causing me to get up and close it at least 4 times during a 9.5 hour flight."

Pros: "First meal was pretty good (chicken, red sauce, rice). Snack before landing was very sugar heavy with bad lunch meat and weak bread."
Cons: "Very poor customer service at Iberia check in combined with a very large airport with no info on my receipt from Kayak telling me which terminal I was in resulted in needing a full three hours to get from arriving at the airport to getting to my gate. Long line to check in and the person checking me in told me I could not check hiking pools. I asked twice because I thought I couldn't carry them on. I waited in line for the security check and they told me I couldn't carry on my pools. Went back to check in and a person managing the line told me to go to a check in desk at the end. I waited there for 15 minutes and then when he finished with the family he was helping he told me he was on break and walked away. Went back to the woman that told me to go to him, she offered no apology and told me to wait back in the check in line. I then needed help to get back in the security line because my pass wouldn't scan, then had to take a tram to get to the correct gate (this is after taking a subway and then a shuttle bus to get to the right terminal). It is very unlikely I will fly Iberia again. The night before it took almost one hour for them to get luggage off the plan on a small local flight. Boarding both to and from Madrid was also disorganized and no one at the desk ensured that only people in a given boarding group were in line. Another source of frustration is that this was booked through Finnish air (code share?) so I could not check in on line or choose my seats."

Cons: "Boarding was a mess. Business was overbooked and Iberia's team at check-in totally clueless and hopeless. During the flight, crew was impolite and unhelpful. Finally, my seat was broken -- and had to be manually inclined."

Cons: "The plan was dirty inside when we board, it was not cleaned"

Pros: "Very cheap flight, they fed us a lot on the flight including ice cream and lots of leg room."

Pros: "Good flight, good connection with other flight transit time"
Cons: "The reservation number with American Airlines wasn't clearly indicated."

Cons: "Not only was the audio broken so we couldn't hear the movie, but our overhead light was broken (all around) so we couldn't read. Service was terrible; attendants seemed irritated at small requests. We'll never fly Iberia again"
