The singapore airline now compared before covid, I like the service before covid. SQ was the best of all airlines but now I am going to look for different airline if I am travelling in asia.
They close their counter so early. I had internet issues so I couldn’t check In online . I would have made the flight but their counter was closed 5 minutes before we arrived. No way of contacting them even though I had the confirmation number and tried to check in the night before on someone else’s phone. I tried calling their customer service with no pick up. Horrible experience, I’m very unhappy with them. I hope to never fly with them ever again. It costed me almost $900.
They are great with every aspect of customer service. Helped my elderly father and aided him with using the restroom.
Even though it was a very full flight, the service was still excellent, the plane did not feel too cramped and cabin crew made a sincere effort to help passengers find overhead space for stowing luggage.

Would have been nice to have more variety and less dairy in the Indian Vegetarian special meal. Why do they include Parathas as part of the entree and also on the side (substitute for bread/roll)? Also, no need for so much dairy...don't need milk packet, yogurt and Chobani Greek yogurt in the same meal.

I cancelled the flights in good time but could only get a partial refund. I was not warned of this.
Crew experience was more transnational, seats were so close together (LtoR and FtoB) that it was difficult to enjoy much of anything. When the person in front leaned back, there is no space for me. Sadly it was a flight to be endured not experienced.
While I was in great pain, the seat was sufficiently comfortable to allow me to rest and not be in so much pain.

The crews at check in counter are not professional, they are talking and playing around. Also no entertainment on the plane
2 failed landing attemps before going to Nagoya airport for refueling. After 3 hours of taxiing, we still needed 3 attemps before a succeeded landing (after the 5th attempt finally!). In total, 11 hours inside the plane instead of 4h30, and with only a crappy piece of bread to feed us. A shame.

Pros: "This airline is going out of business in the US. They have had great fares from LAX to Hong Kong and Bangkok. It seems the airline has been mismanaged or has had political restraints despite always being full. I was lucky to purchase the last roundtrip flight LAX HKG BKK before the online bookings were pulled for the LAX route. Hence, my flight to HKG and the return to LAX were empty flights, which is such a loss for an already dying airline. The crew were still polite and hardworking unlike US airlines."

To be honest the plane was one of the newest model around but looking and observing at the seats and restrooms, etc, I was not impressed. I feel like it was so cheaply done and maintenance was so poor."
Cons: "Offering cheap fares does not mean poor service and being treated with rudeness and so so service. In every year that I travel, I try different airlines to see and experience. I say that this experience is the worst and will be forever be embedded/marked on my list. They should look into service more to make up for other shortcomings I observed. Really felt bad not for me but for the other people who also got mistreated with the crews rudeness and their mean attitude towards work and guest. I work in a service Industry and all I can say they are not even at par to our lowest standards in what we do at our work."

The flight was cancelled without any reason. But the next flight to Shanghai has to be cancelled to pay penalty.

You’re in the three parts of my life, the China Eastern air crew remembered and wish me happy birthday. I was given pastries on two different occasions and a complementary drink. The stew is wish me happy birthday and gave me a birthday card. Everything was first class. Thank you.
2 hours delay on the 1st plane out of the day!!!!!
Multiple delays, with no explanation. Caused us to almost miss our connector. The airline made no effort when we arrived in Shanghai to help us make it to our next flight with the same airline.

The flight was delayed for almost 5 hours, but I understand that it was not up to the company, however how they could handle the situation better, they never apologized for that delay, moreover despite passengers being there for 7 hours only thing they did was to give a bowl of instant noodles, afterwards on the plane tiny snacks, people were there starting from lunch time and we’ve arrived to destination at almost midnight
Flight was delayed for 2 hours for no reason, then we spent almost an hour after boarding because of the weather conditions. If we left on time we could avoid that 😾

Cons: "Missed connection from PEK to XIY due to delayed arrival and early departure. From XIY to PEK, booked and confirmed 11 departure, changed to 12:30 without notification or explaination. Rushed connections at PEK, pretty much ran from the minute left plan to another terminal, through custom, through all the health check points, security check. Just keep the fights on time and keep the original schedules, not arbitrarily change them."

Cons: "Even for business class there is no TV screen on each seat. Just one small TV screen on the ceiling for a few rows to share. It would be much better with TV screen on each seat. I was sitting in the first row business class and the air hostess skipped me and didn’t give me a slipper. She gave me a used slipper at the end only without a packet. This is unprofessional to treat a business class passenger"
