SQ is a market leader for good reason and its 787 this time was actually comfortable and the service top notch as always.
I had selected seats together for my family of three when I first booked my tickets in February. However, I realized only when I checked in at the airport that the seats I had selected were no longer assigned to us and we were completely scattered across three different middle seats instead of being seated together! After requesting the Singapore staff to have us seated together on a full flight, they managed to find something but it was right next to the rest rooms and the whole journey of 15+ hours was really unpleasant. They said that the seat selection isn't locked and the airline can reallocate the seats anytime. No one ever told us this and it was a terribly unpleasant surprise. Will avoid Kayak/underpricer and Singapore in future
The friendliness of the attendants, and the quality of the service.
Limited food options. I dont like chicken or even fish but that’s the only option. Sad to say not impress

After boarding, it became apparent that the cabin air conditioning was not functioning adequately. When we initially raised the concern, a flight attendant informed us that it would take approximately 10 minutes for the temperature to cool down once the aircraft began operating. We trusted this explanation; however, the cabin remained uncomfortably warm, and many passengers—including my family—were sweating for an extended period. After approximately 45 minutes, I raised the issue again. While the attendant mentioned that adjustments had been made, the response did not reflect the seriousness of the ongoing discomfort. It was only after about an hour into the flight that the temperature finally improved and the cabin became more comfortable. I also spoke with several other passengers seated nearby, and they confirmed they were experiencing the same issue. As a frequent traveler who has always associated Singapore Airlines with high standards of service, this experience was very disappointing. It has made me reconsider choosing this route with your airline in the future. I hope you will review this incident and take the necessary steps to ensure that such situations are handled more promptly and professionally going forward. Flight attendants were awesome! Very helpful and patients. Some food were good but maybe not serving fish that kinda make the whole aircraft smell fishy. The “fried pork” was tasty but too much skin so it doesnt taste that great.
Never book through Kayak. They can offload booking to third parties that are completely horrible.
I had ordered vegetarian food. What I was presented was extremely dissatisfying and not up to the mark. I pretty much did not eat entire 19 hours. For.an airline voted as best in business, it was extremely disappointing. Seats were not comfortable to sleep. Entertainment system didn’t have much choice. WiFi didn’t work for more than half the time. Cabin crew were also difficult to understand. A bit of diversity like Emirates crew would go a long way.
It was okay. I feel that Singapore Airlines isn't as good as it used to be but it's still not bad
It was fine. Nothing special but nothing went wrong so all good.
Very poor. The flight was delayed for over an hour. Also, our baggage, including that of many passengers, approimately 180 bags did not arrive, and we are yet to receive it.
Poor, They have damaged my luggage and I have filed a claim at Colombo airport. They promised I will be in touch by the team within next 2 days but there is no One contacted me at all after 1 week. I then follow up again and received an email acknowledging my claim and claimed that they will reply in 12 days on investigation. Again, no response at all after that… Very disappointing…
From the checking, ground handlimg was very poor.seems new personal on duty,people qho suppose to be teaching them didnt see around.new people may mislead passenger, as of flt info boards, not give proper info.even informatiin counter people dont get uptodate info.makin big ques, totally disaster.guests were not happy about it.even boarding to aircraft some BC class pax sent to aft staircase, some aft pasx sent to front door.poor ground handling.may need to improove.
Nice crew.flight delay fromBKK for some ground prep issue I guess, crew serve well to guest, and respect to guest as well. As usual AC is old,and nt much comert in compare to other rehional airliners.other than that.all good

Spesific ,Crew and cabin manager, look after all pax on board despite being in a old A320 equipment.Got free seat upgrade as well,but old style seats, no much comfert on it.But food and the spesific crew, was amazing.maintain airlanka standerd.the cabin manager, who was so much keen,keen operate as per SOP.

Flight was delayed from 8pm to near midnight. They made us board then sit in the cabin and wait for even longer for take-off. No compensation whatsoever - not even in a free drink or meal

We were told that flight was delayed by 20 mins, but it left close to an hour late. But they did make it up and arrived early; it's just very difficult to keep waiting when it's a late flight. Food was mediocre.
The flight has been delayed for nearly an hour, yet neither the captain nor the chief steward made an effort to explain the reason for the delay or offer any apologies to the passengers.
We recently flew with AirAsia and encountered several issues. Our flight was delayed by over an hour, and both boarding and takeoff were postponed without any prior notification. Although we eventually realized there was a delay on our own, the crew did inform us afterward. To make up for lost time, the pilot took off at high speed, resulting in some turbulent moments that were quite scary. Despite these challenges, the cabin crew did an excellent job managing the situation and easing the inconvenience. Overall, while the delays and turbulence made for a stressful experience, I appreciated the crew’s efforts to keep us as comfortable as possible.
I had a wonderful experience with this company. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our pilot was skilled and clearly experienced. The value for the price was excellent. I would definitely recommend them.
