flight delay was announced after passengers were staged to board the flight. Communication regarding subsequent gate changes was poor.
Ground staff a baggage drop in Palma were generally unhelpful. The flight was delayed and the boards were never updated and there was no communication on the length of the delay.
Over 2 hours delay, communicated last minute - and no acknowledgement by flight crew
Boarding was terrible. We were all cooped up in a small, claustrophobic space awaiting to be let out to walk to the plane. Very cramped and very uncomfortable.
Although our departure (DUB) was slightly delayed we reached our destination (LBA) ahead of schedule. The price was very competitive too (around €100 return). Plus, the departure times for both legs were very good: 13:05 and 15:10, respectively. I gave a neutral rating for Food and Entertainment because I didn't avail of either.
Dislike standing for 30 minutes waiting to board. Coffee disgusting, hot sandwich almost inedible. Staff cheerful. Flight early.
Notified as to why there’s a delay with our flight.
Easy short trip from Faro to Cardiff. Exceptional staff. Early landing and straight through airport in 15 minutes from touch down.
It would have been better if I was not ill so I didn't go and I didn't come back and I could not transfer my tickets to a later date as Ryanair stop flying from Manchester at the end of October till next year
Toulouse Alicante, excellent. But the 2 next fligth by Air Europa canceled. Bad bad
Flight attendants need to come by a little more often to pick up trash.
My experience with British Airways was fine and dandy. Nothing truly negative to report. However, I was. asked to check my carryon bag all the way through to my desitination which prompted some huge problems. Thank goodness I kept a foldable-personal-item-bag in my carryon. I was asked to remove my valuable electronic belongings from my personal item bag, which was a camera bag full of expensive lenses and camera equipment, into another bag for the flight because it was "too big". Farbeit from me for asking further questions, but the bag was let through when I departed to Paris from America with no problems at all as I was able to explain that it was slightly oversized due to being a camera bag with a layer of protective foam which made it slightly larger. Still, this bag could and did fit perfectly under my airplain seat during my departure from America. On the flight back though, this was not the case and I was asked to remove highly valuable personal items, stow my camera bag in my checked bag, and then had to pay and overweight fee. Kinda bogus, but I was tired and wanted to get home so I complied. Regardless, it would have been nice to have had my bag retrieved during the London to Pittsburgh flight so I could put on new clothes and freshen up before take off.
Continue to be disappointed that the “food” for “ordinary” fare paying passengers is poor - on this flight it consisted of a packet of two biscuits and a small bottle of water … not even offered a “free” cup of tea or coffee. Suggest a review of the “menu” and offer a hot drink to ordinary (economy class) passengers. On this route there are many far cheaper flights available - paying almost £200 for a flight that could have been bought for less than half this price should have some “perks” - offering hot drinks to all passengers would, in my opinion, be a cost effective measure which would improve the image of British Airways.
Tickets get checked 4 separate times by different staff, would save time if only the person at the entrance and the person who scans the tickets checks them!
Business class in Club Europe is basically a slightly larger seat, with the middle seat blocked off. Not really business class, except for the free food/drink - which was also delicious!
It was pretty bad. We weren't able to check our bags online, had to do it at the airport and it litteraly took the people there over an hour to get it figured out. The lady said in 24 years of working there she had never seen such a complicated case. And we weren't able to check in online either.
British Airways is consistently fine, in terms of the on-flight service. Heathrow Terminal 5 can be difficult, though that is probably not BA's fault. On the other hand, British Airways' service has routinely been difficult for me the past few years. Indeed, it is a reason why I am considering changing carriers.
Plane trays needed a clean. Still had drink stains on them. Crew great.
Two flights canceled in a row. British Airlines does not seem to care. Very disappointed
Too many people at the boarding gate... not enough sitting at the gate for all passengers. The next gate was boarding around the same time for Pheonix, and waiting passengers were bleeding into both gates. It was confusing and chaotic. The flight and service onboard was good. No complaints there.
