Swiss Air, which forced me to check my bag in Newark, still has not located it. I am back in NY now. Overall a terrible travel experience, my worst ever.

From the comfortable seats, the fabulous dinner, the outstanding Swiss staff from the baggage check to the wonderful flight attendants, the flight to Zürich and the return trip to Boston was amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Swiss. I would love to be able to fly Swiss Business again when I travel to Zürich in September 2019."

This is flying business class. Swiss begins to feel like a low cost"

Pros: "After almost completely adapting to the spartan amenities of US domestic airlines, my recent SWISS flight had a too-good-to-be-true quality that rendered my travel companion and I giddy with delight. My dinner (one of three food services) consisted of chicken, potatoes, steamed broccoli, salad, a dinner roll with butter, gruyere, and a strawberry tart... included cream and sugar signaled an inevitable coffee service. This was accompanied by complimentary wine and sparkling water, and heavy-weight stainless cutlery. The seat reclination was good, and the in-flight entertainment was a cut above. Coming off many Frontier flights with pay-for-beverage service, no leg-room, and un-reclining seats, it was about as good as coach can get. I'm actually looking at SWISS routes first before I plan my next vacation."

Cons: "The airline changed a seat reservation after I paid for it. The Swiss support staff told me on the phone they would call me back. They never called back. I called again and was told the seats are changed and I can’t do anything anymore. The return flight seats also disappeared from the reservation. I had also paid for it. The support staff when I called again put back the seats for my return flight. I tried to check in online. Not working. Tried at least 50 times. Not working. Called the support staff. They told me to call the check in support center. I called the check in support center at least 50 times where mi was told the staff are busy and could not answer the call. I called at 6:00am next day where I was told by the check in support staff that my ticket had an issue which they did not know exactly what was the issue but prevented me to do a check in. I drove more than 2 hours to the airport where finally I could check in but I was told that my return flight seats had disappeared again. They managed to put them back again. I hope this time it’s finally ok. The support staff on the phone told me I could get reimbursed for the seat reservation I had paid for for the on going flight. The Swiss staff at the airport told me there would be no refund. Swiss is terrible"

Cons: "For international travel, I’m always told to get there 3 hours before. For this trip we checked in but didn’t have access to a printer so needed a boarding pass. We wanted to carry on luggage so just needed to print the pass. Swiss was the only airline that wasn’t available on the check-in kiosks. The front desk staff didn’t arrive until closer to 1.5 hours before check in so nearly theall passengers were in a huge line to get passes and check bags."

Pros: "The flight was delayed due to technical problems, and they immediately gave each person 20 Francs towards dinner while in the terminal- which was very nice. The aircraft itself was impeccably clean, even though it had already carried passengers elsewhere earlier in the day. The service was fantastic, and you can never go wrong with free chocolate."

The whole idea of booking a business class ticket is the extra comfort that comes with the lay flat seat or at absolute minimum on smaller planes the wider more comfortable seat. Neither of those were present on this flight. Calling this a business class is a rip off."

Last person walked into the plane 10 min after the scheduled departure time, as a result the airport delayed our departure by 50 more minutes."

Cons: "It was only an hour long flight, and I slept most of the way. From what I could tell, the staff seemed friendly. Only complaint would be that on the way to the plane (we had to take a bus) we were packed in like sardines and it was very hot. Once we got to the plane, we were left standing in the bus for a couple minutes. Because of the heat, I thought I was going to pass out."

When the seat in front of me was reclined, the screen was only a few inches from my face. There was a loud, obnoxious passenger next to me who almost got into a fistfight with another passenger until the stewardess came to calm him down."

Luggage arrived at the same time we entered the baggage claim area, probably because of the passenger delay on board the flight for hand baggage to be offloaded."
Cons: "Boarding took a LONG time, relative to other airlines. The gate agent had to enter each seat assignment into the computer as he checked our boarding passes -- he had no way to scan and automatically record each passenger's arrival. First class passengers universally arrived later than the rest of us -- with one gate agent, economy class passengers frequently stopped and waited until the agent verified the first-class passengers' phone-based boarding passes against their passports and entered their seats into the computer. The flight was rough. We spent 5-8 minutes taxiing from our tarmac "gate" to the air strip -- and it was a very rough, bumpy, uncomfortable ride. The landing was atrocious. The weather was apparently calm, and there were no apparent crosswinds; we landed hard, and both bounced and shook. The aircraft (Bombadier Q400), a turbo-prop, was roomy enough for us -- we're average-height people who aren't very big -- I saw taller people scraping the overhead (ceiling) when they stood in the passageway/aisle. I've ridden in much smoother turbo-props in the past. We had to wait an extra 5 minutes on the ground so that hand-carried luggage could be off-loaded before passengers. We had no "checked" hand-luggage, so it felt like a nonessential delay for us. We aren't terribly upset with Luxair, as this was a "local" commuter flight -- we won't be traveling on this aircraft again if we can help it."

The crew are usually pretty nice, and they do serve drinks and a sandwich"

Je voyage toujours côté hublot, jamais couloir. lorsque je demandai pourquoi on m'avait changé de place la préposée me dit, sèchement , que l'avion devait être équilibré car tout me monde "était assis à l'avant. Insatisfaite de sa réponse, je lui dit que le systeme m'avait attribué cette place et que je ne voulais pas être à l'arrière de l'appareil . Peut lui importait puisque de toute façon elle me remit mon billet avec le 4A biffé et remplacé par 18C au stylo, en me disant que je pourrais changer de place apres le décollage. Or il sest trouve que ma place initiale, 4A avait simplement ete réatribuée a une autre passager! J'étais furieuse de m'être fait mentir de façon aussi effrontée, car de toute évidence la préposée à l'embarquement savait très bien la vraie raison de cette réaffectation a un nouveau siege. J'organise des concerts et jai souvent à acheter des billets pour des musiciens qui viennent au Luxembourg. Je n'ai franchement plus l'envie , après m'être fait prendre pour une idiote, de les faire voler sur luxair."

If LH knows that the flight is booked close to capacity I would have expected they do their part and due diligence by swapping to a bigger aircraft to help protect people and their customers, it’s not that they wouldn’t have other aircrafts grounded and ready to go... A reduced beverage service is all you can do, really? LH - very disappointing once again"

Cons: "Getting to LHR early for. 6:30 am flight was no use since they don't have any departing flights between 11pm and 6 am. So we were stuck in the lobby for hours until ticket agents arrived at 4 am. There was one open coffee shop however. Then we waited for security to arrive at about 4:30 am to get through and it was quite a slow shake down. One through there were no restaurants open until 5-5:30 am. The flight itself was fine. Facilities at Frankfurt were minimal with toilets offering only one stall each. While standing in the long queue a lady and her young daughter were rudely ushered out by the male custodian for cleaning, and then it could not be used for another 10-15 minutes."
Pros: "Even on such a short flight I got a sandwich. It was a salmon sandwich which I never had on any other flights. They usually serve cheese or ham or chicken in the Middle East. It was nice to have something different and nutritious."

Cons: "Terminal procedures, particularly a tarmac delay and understaffed customs and security personnel, jeopardized my London Heathrow connection in spite of the 80 minute layover. Itineraries with less than a two-hour connection should be discontinued as a fraudulent misrepresentation of the passenger's likely success. I will never fly through Heathrow again."

Delayed again for over 2 hrs
Flight was canceled and nobody notified us (business class) until we arrived at the airport. Tap tried to rebook us into economy for next flight but we would have missed out connection anyway. Had to pitch a fit to be rebooked on a different airline in business. Ended up in JFK instead of Newark but at least got home.
Check in was a disaster. The testing rules are ridiculous. They made me wait so long to tell me to get another test that I missed the flight, then they charged me a fee. The staff was rude and uninformed. I will never fly this airline again and will advise others to avoid.
DO NOT FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE! I wish I would have taken the negative reviews I had read to heart before I had to discover it for myself. To start with, we were charged an extra $100 for our carry-on baggage apparently being overweight. This was not something we were told about prior to flying or we would have packed differently. During our layover in Portugal, we were delayed. Once they started to board, we got on the bus and drove out to the plane. Upon arriving at the plane, there were already two other busses there that had not even offloaded yet since they were apparently still servicing the plane. We had to stand in a crowded bus for about 45 minutes packed in like sardines. So much for social distancing and covid concerns! The plane itself was uncomfortable and the service terrible. I have flown across the Atlantic many many times on other airlines and have always received amazing service. This was not the case with TAP. Other than a small glass of water, we were only served drinks one time. There were no refills or additional service, which for a 9-hour flight is unheard of. I hated every minute of my time with TAP and will never fly with them again even if someone offered me a free ticket.

A passenger became ill after boarding and had to be disembarked along with his luggage which had previously been loaded, 3. Another passenger became ill requiring paramedic attention while we waited for a lengthy period before getting permission to take off. All these contributed to delays for which the airline and crew had no responsibility. They did their best to keep us informed of progress but once we took off, much of the lost time was recovered in the air. The flight itself was fairly smooth and uneventful. Thank God."
