FAQs - booking Lahore flights

  • Is there an on-site hotel at Lahore Airport?

While there is no on-site hotel at Lahore Airport, several accommodation options nearby offer free airport transfers to guests who have a reservation. Both the Pearl Continental Hotel and The Residency Hotel are around a 15min drive from the airport, while the Regency Inn Hotel and Hotel One Gulberg are 20min away.

  • What is the best way to get from Lahore Airport to the city centre?

Two bus services (B-08 and B-28) connect the airport with the city centre 24h a day; route B-08 stops at other transport hubs, including the railway station and main bus terminal. While low-cost, this option can be time-consuming and potentially confusing for travellers new to the city. A more efficient way to reach your final destination is to use one of the metered Metro Radio Cabs available round the clock outside the airport terminal; the fare to the city centre should be around Rs 1,000-1,500 (£5.50-£8) depending on the traffic. Rideshare service Uber is also available.

  • Does Lahore Airport provide any lounge facilities?

Yes, it does. The CIP Lounge is available in both the international and domestic departure areas at Allama Iqbal International Airport and offers non-alcoholic beverages, showers, newspaper, a television and business facilities. Regardless of the airline and class they are flying, passengers can pay on the door to access the lounge.

  • Can I exchange currency at Lahore Airport?

Arriving on late flights to Lahore without any local currency? Don’t worry: PBS Exchange, Dollar East Exchange Company, the National Bank and Habib Bank offer 24-hour currency exchange services in the International Arrivals Lounge. ATMs operated by various local banks are also available round the clock, though be aware that these may charge high fees for withdrawing cash.

  • Can I get help with my bags at Lahore Airport?

If you need assistance getting your bags from the baggage reclaim counters to the passenger pick-up area outside, you will find official airport porters in the baggage claim hall. Head to the Passenger Facilitation Service (PFS) sign to avoid unofficial baggage touts and expect to pay around Rs 400 (£2) for the service.

  • How far is Lahore Airport from central Lahore?

The distance between Lahore Airport and the city centre of Lahore is 4 miles.

  • What is the name of Lahore’s airport?

When flying to Lahore, you'll arrive at Lahore Airport (LHE). The airport is also known as Lahore.

  • What is the cheapest day to fly to Lahore?

Based on KAYAK data, the cheapest day to fly to Lahore is Sunday where tickets can be as cheap as £602. On the other hand, the most expensive day to fly is Friday, where prices are £640 on average.

  • How does KAYAK find such low prices on flights to Lahore?

KAYAK is a travel search engine. That means we look across the web to find the best prices we can find for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights to Lahore.

  • How does KAYAK's flight Price Forecast tool help me choose the right time to buy my flight ticket to Lahore?

KAYAK’s flight Price Forecast tool uses historical data to determine whether the price for a flight to Lahore is likely to change within 7 days, so travellers know whether to wait or book now.

  • What is the Hacker Fare option on flights to Lahore?

Hacker Fares allow you to combine one-way tickets in order to save you money over a traditional round-trip ticket. You could then fly to Lahore with an airline and back with another airline.

  • What is KAYAK's "flexible dates" feature and why should I care when looking for a flight to Lahore?

Sometimes travel dates aren't set in stone. If your preferred travel dates have some wiggle room, flexible dates will show you all the options when flying to Lahore up to 3 days before/after your preferred dates. You can then pick the flights that suit you best.

  • What is the cheapest time of day to fly to Lahore?

The cheapest time of day to fly to Lahore is generally at night, when flights cost £545 on average. The most expensive time of day to fly to Lahore is generally in the afternoon, which is peak travel time and where the average cost of a ticket is £594.

Top tips for finding cheap flights to Lahore

  • Enter your preferred departure airport and travel dates into the search form above to unlock the latest Lahore flight deals.
  • Lahore Airport (LHE) – properly named Allama Iqbal International Airport – is unique compared to many world airports in that it features an attractive brick terminal building rather than the usual glass and steel structures. You can start admiring the local architecture as soon as you have disembarked from the plane.
  • Families and female travellers on flights to Lahore can use separate immigration lanes when arriving at the airport. As queues can be lengthy, this can be a distinct advantage – though do still factor in plenty of time if travelling to an appointment directly after your flight.
  • A second, smaller terminal at Lahore Airport is used exclusively for seasonal Hajj flights. Should you be connecting to a Hajj flight, transport to the second terminal will be provided. Although this dedicated terminal handles all Hajj passengers, it is worth noting that the airport can be much busier during this month.
  • Though basic, Allama Iqbal International Airport offers all the essential services a traveller might need, including medical and banking facilities, toilets, postal services and a small number of dining options, including snack bars in the departure lounges and a restaurant on the main concourse.
  • If your flight to Lahore was tiring and you need a moment of quiet contemplation during your layover, separate prayer rooms for men and women are available in both the international and domestic departure halls.

My baggage is lost. Flight cancelled, Rebooked ticket through long routes. Mental stress, emotional hurt

Nothing to complain. The staff and flight was good especially the seats which was better compared than the cloth ones on Qatar airways

My flight was with American Airlines 120. The flight was delayed 3 hours and I missed my connection. When I arrived in Doha, the AA staff told me to call an 800 number to rebook a different flight, which was unacceptable. Eventually a Qatar Air staff member helped rebook me on a flight to Manila, that was 12 hours later. They offered me a hotel and meal voucher which I declined, because I didn’t want to leave the airport. Long story short, I spent 12 hours in the Doha airport waiting for my next flight.

Overall the experience was neat with crew being nice and caring especially to parent with kids. The free snacks option was okay. The kiosk at Philly airport didn’t work.

Reason for travelling Tampa to Orlando is to fly Qatar Airline. we end up with American Airline. This was the miserable experience I ever had in my entire travel history. Flight attendants were rude. They hit my knee with the food cart and I was holding ice pack for 2 hours. I still have the pain after a week. WE boarded the flight twice because of the temperature inside the plan.

First keep the airline as you promise. Reason for travelling from Orlando to Tampa is to go with Qatar Airline. We end up with American Airline. As expected the service was horrible.

Terrible experience resolving missed connection after flight was delayed. 3 hour queue at transit desk, not enough staff, no organisation, worst ever flying experience.

I had to stay in the airport 15 even with a hotel reservation..i was refused to inter to qatar cuz the hotel was outside the airport. They could have offered a solution. It was really exhausting for me and my family.

The American/Hollywood movies in the entertainment system lack english subtitles, they tend to have only arabic subtitles. Coupled with the low quality airplane earphones and cabin noise, it sometimes is difficult to follow the movie dialogues.

All the crew members were too slow and rude. Most of the times the registers were empty, while hundreds of customers were waiting in line, and it was impossible to get a supervisor. Despite being in line on time, I missed my freight, plus a some customers who were ahead and behind me.

It was great honestly the cabin crew were warm and welcoming everything was perfect the food was nice.

Didn’t like anything about the flight: I am so frustrated at this point. Since 8 days I have been dealing with your customer service regarding my seat changes. I paid $51.10 for extra legroom seats and one fine morning I get an email that my seats have been changed. I tried to contact the customer service and they have been just fooling me around stating that my issue will be resolved. Saudia is the worst airline. Pathetic. On the day of my travel, I came at the counter and the guy told me that my seat assigned is 36A and my wife’s seat is different. He then changed my seats to 33A which is not at all a extra legroom seats. I asked the person is these seats are extra legroom he said yes and when I came to the aircraft I am sitting in a normal seat. The TCR Shameer Ansari or Sameeri Ansari came and did nothing telling me that he tried his best find a solution. I need someone to contact me ASAP and I need a refund for the entire flight. I don’t need your Al Fursan points they are worthless. Contact me ASAP.

I recently flew with Saudi Arabian Airlines, and it was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally polite, professional, and attentive throughout the journey. Check-in was smooth and well-organized, and boarding was efficient and on time. The cabin was spotless and comfortable, with plenty of legroom and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The in-flight service was top-notch — meals were delicious and offered with generous portions, and the crew made sure every passenger was well taken care of. I also appreciated the wide range of entertainment options, including movies, music, and TV shows in multiple languages. The flight was punctual, and the overall experience reflected the airline’s strong commitment to hospitality and passenger satisfaction. Without a doubt, I’d highly recommend Saudia to anyone traveling within the region or internationally. Their service quality easily matches — and often surpasses — many top global airlines. I’m looking forward to flying with them again! ⸻ Would you like me to tailor it for a specific flight route or class (e.g., Economy, Business, Jeddah–Washington DC)? I can make it sound even more personal or detailed.

It was a disaster. The crew was so rude and had no professionalism. She dropped something onto the floor, then took it from the floor and put it into the food tray. Also, when she got some spilling, she went straight to the toilet, got some tissue and started cleaning the food trolley

I cant wait for planes to have shorter rows with more space! otherwise, all fine thankyou

They lost the stroller and car seat which they found after 4 days, and on the way back they damaged the stroller.

Damage lagguage, They lost the stroller and car seat which they found after 4 days, and on the way back they damaged the stroller.

Same situation saudi lost my pram and car seat and damaged lagguage

My gag was left at liayad airport when I landed at jeddah airport 9 am I waited for my bags at jeddah airport till 2.45 pm almost 6 hrs bad very bad

Apart from chaotic boarding - which I totally understand was outside the control of gate staff. It was comfortable mid haul flight. Well done to cabin crew for their patience and hospitality with largely elderly passengers returning from pilgrimage.

I paid 44 $ for seat upgrade (22D) and my seat was stack in high position for all the 6 hours of flight. I don't recommend the upgrade. I am looking to get my upgrade payment back

1 hour flight. No complaints. Some drinks would have been nice.

Wish the flight attendants were more attentive in serving food

More leg space than other flights, but *maybe* narrower seats

Poor boarding with incorrect gate numbers. Poor service they told me to throw away brand new water bottles. Poor immigration officers most likely American who hates Muslims. Poor service in the plane with no Urdu language sign posted anywhere. Horrible seats with no comfort at all they think people traveling in economy are animals. Slow food and water services. Slow baggage arrival.

We booked a business class ticket via Underpricer. Somehow they screwed up our ticket from Abu Dhabi to Ahmedabad. We will be hesitant to book again with them.

Same problem place in the middle so small Im 1,85 m so not good 👍

The WiFi was not compatible on both my phones (Vivo Y30 5g and Samsung Galaxy A32) with up-to-date android software.

Did not provided with option for class upgrade. Staff at gate was not able and willing to accommodate with class upgrade, eather with plenty empty spots in business and first class.

I am a larger than average person and in my opinion i don't think it's fair to allocate a window seat to anyone who is my size or larger, i was seated between 2 large passengers on a full aircraft. The guy in the window seat also occupied a portion of the middle seat (my seat) which made my experience of flying with etihad very cramped and uncomfortable, i was flying from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok. Had this been a airbus 380 it would have been better as the seats are larger but unfortunately it wasn't so i had to endure the 6+hrs unable to get any rest

I had ordered gluten free vegetarian but I got chicken instead. I wasn’t able to eat the meal. It’s hard not having food to eat when it’s an international flight. I don’t want to complain but when it’s a 14 hours flight. It would be nice to have something to eat.

Seats too much and for the price we paid eve thought economy we still had to pay $169 to check a ba that’s ridiculous and also my daughter needed water so she can take her medicine we push the boton for the attendant to get us water they never came we push it 3 times no one came and ask what we needed . Am not happy with the service at all I will not fly with TK anymore

Worse worse worse, i would not recommend this airline to anyone. Istanbul airport maybe State of the Art facility but staff is rude, only works if they get tips, and they push you to give tips even though my family had spent $50 in tips. Airline staff doesn't speak english so you really can't understand them. It was a nightmare travelling with Turkish. Never again.

The staff at IST airport could have been more helpful. Too much wasted time and the plane from IST to KHI was just horrible. The plane was not clean and smelled bad!

Boarded via bus instead of the air bridge Had to wait 10mins in the bus at the tarmac before we were allow to go up

Staff friendly. Business class but issue with flat bed. Incoming Turkish flight delayed. Made connection due to fast buggy but luggage did not make it. Confusion at Delhi airport

I had a bad experience with the Airline company. I still did not get one of my baggages. I went several times at the Airport looking for the missing luggage.

It was pleasant except for the boarding at Istanbul and long wait for the wheel chair almost missed the flight Itambul to Dubai

With a 4 hour delay its was a very basic flight which was just bearable. We were offered food vouchers for the delay and then they didnt work, so that was annoying. Also poor communication about the delay which got pushed out 3 times.

This is really the rating of two flights. JFK to IST then IST to NQZ. New York to Istanbul was good. Good crew and all positives. The flight to Astana was so bad that brought it all down. Crew was nonexistent above the minimum, seats were cramped, and it was hot on the plane. Turkish Airlines seems to be slipping down to US based carriers level.

Flight on time and priority boarding worked. I travelled economy although business was available as no flights are cheap these days and at least with BA loyalty card I get a baggage allowance for nothing. That made the flight comparable or even cheaper than the ‘budget’ alternative. As for catering and entertainment - not on a BA short haul economy ! At least we were offered biscuits and water! Catering for economy short haul has been reduced to the minimum - no tea or coffee or other drinks than water (from a large bottle with a paper cup on offer). They will say this is better for the environment, which it is, but proper waste management is still needed for empty packets etc. so actually it’s a money saver.

Audi visual not working for a whole group of seats in first class. How does a plane leave the main hub in such poor condition? How much that we can’t see so immediately is also compromised?

The check-in baggage belt was broken (which is understandable) but what was surprising is they would check you in, give a baggage tag and then you have to drag the baggage to a different counter at the end of airport. No vegetarian option in in-flight meal. British Airways remains the worst big name airlines and always my last option while booking.

main meals are horrible but then you dont fly for the food

It was good. Couldn’t Check in online and select seats

It was great. Enough space and room for legs . Great service to.

⭐ British Airways Review — A Journey of Highs, Lows, and Lessons ⭐ I recently flew Business Class round-trip from Boston to Mumbai with British Airways, and my experience was a tale of two extremes — from disappointment to exceptional service, and then back to inconsistency. Boston → London: A Surprisingly Poor Start My journey began on a disappointing note. On a 6-hour Business Class flight, I was surprised to discover that there wasn’t a single proper vegetarian meal option available. I was offered a few bakery items only after repeatedly requesting something to eat. The flight attendant shrugged, offered no solution, and eventually — quite literally — threw some bread at me after much delay. This was not only disheartening, it was extremely surprising given my wonderful Business Class experience with BA last year. I stepped off that flight genuinely hungry and had to make a mad dash to the lounge just to get a proper meal. London → Mumbai: A Complete Turnaround The next sector restored my faith in British Airways. The entire crew was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special shoutout to Phiroze and the entire team serving the Business Class cabin — their professionalism, hospitality, and thoughtful service were extraordinary. They truly embodied what makes British Airways a global leader, and I am deeply grateful for the experience they provided. This is the BA I know and love. Mumbai → London: A Strange Meal Schedule This sector was generally fine, but the meal timing was puzzling. Lunch at 10:30 AM — for a Business cabin — felt unusual, and most passengers, including myself, barely touched it. The rest of the service was smooth, but the scheduling definitely needs a rethink. London → Boston: Mixed Experience Again The flight itself was decent, but the Business Lounge at Heathrow for this leg was a letdown. Arrived during lunch hours: no hot vegetarian options available Lounge area: dirty dishes everywhere Even after politely alerting the staff, the dishes were ignored and left uncleared For a premium cabin passenger — and at one of the world’s busiest international hubs — this was disappointing. Overall Impression My journey with British Airways felt inconsistent — two great sectors sandwiched between two that fell short of the BA standard. When BA is good, it is world-class. When it misses, the gap is noticeable. I genuinely hope the airline takes this feedback as constructive insight. I continue to believe in British Airways, and I commend the outstanding crew on the London → Mumbai sector — they were the highlight of my entire trip. With a little more focus on vegetarian meal availability, lounge service, and consistency across crews, BA can ensure every Business Class passenger experiences the premium journey they promise.

We were in business class and I had seat # 1. This was a night flight and after dinner was served, lights were dimmed and I went to sleep. The crew were loud and noisy so I didn’t get much sleep. I expect the crew to enjoy themselves but would Appreciate some decency in staying quiet while the passengers sleep

Have travelled business class with other airlines who profess to be the best in the world. They can however not beat the service and comfort that BA provide.

Great on board entertainment Tasty food Cattle class obviously crammed but not as bad as shorter hall flights
