Alitalia made me pay 50 Euros for my bag although I am traveling on the same day with them internationally, in less than 3 hours. They said that because I had two separate tickets they couldn't waive the fee. they have just lost a customer.

Horrible experience with Alitalia. They boarded us on a plane that had a wheel issue, and kept us on the ground for 2 hours before they decided to de-plane us. We then had to wait in a 5+ HOUR LINE to get rerouted (nope, they won't handle these issues online or over the phone, you have to wait in line). And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again.

Plane delayed. Then when on board, pilot apologized due to the very warm cabin as "the auxilariary power unit isn't working." Then long delay because the baggage ground crew messed up and again according to the pilot "we apologize for the ground crew's failure to do their job properly and some baggage wasn't loaded properly." Once we landed we had like 20 minutes to go through security AGAIN and nearly missed the final flight to our Seattle destination. No mention of local time upon landing, no one at gate to direct lots of people rushing for connections.

Seattle to Frankfurt aircraft was the dingiest and most crammed aircraft I have ever used on an international leg. The seats were tiny so much so that some other passengers were not able to fit in! The lighting was gloomy, restroom dirty within the first hour of the flight, no space to keep any magazine or books on the back rest of the seat in front of you, etc. Overall - such a bad experience. Not expected from Lufthansa, especially as I have had great experience with Lufthansa earlier.

Nothing unless you're a fan of stale, hard white bread sandwiches and rude staff.

My flight was due to mechanical issues and we left Tunis 12 HOURS later than scheduled. I saw people become physically and verbally aggressive with other passengers and airline staff over mounting frustrations, I was frightened, lost an entire day of my much needed long weekend and the return was only marginally better. Staff was rude, dismissive, VERY disorganized and not at all apologetic for putting people through such a horrendous experience. If it is a difference of a few hundred dollars between Tunisair and another airline, TAKE THE OTHER AIRLINE! The airline they called to get us out of Tunis said this happens with them at least once a week. The rescuing airline was lovely though! Tunisair- Never, ever again!

Decent flight. On time departing and arriving. Luggage arrived with us.

Audacious prices for checked luggage. If you pay online prior to check-in €25 per bag If you pay at check in it is €45 per bag. This is downright theft by all the airlines who engage in this very profitable but nefarious activity and really needs to be stopped. First bag should be free/ nominal charge or at least part of the ticket price. (It is like a restaurant charging for cutlery and plates so you can eat . Would that be acceptable??)

Had to check in our underweight small carry on because there was no space left. Left out hotel at 3.15am. A dry croissant did not satisfy three hungry children for breakfast, the coffee was terrible and the seats too close together. Not a good experience.

The crew, again, was fabulous. Boarding, once the stuffy wait was over, went quickly. They attended to every request with smiles, gentle humor, and without delay. Nonstop movies were a great help on this second of two long legs, and it was really nice to have control over pausing, replaying portions, and jumping ahead past sex scenes. A 10-sec forward button like the back button would be very useful to skip nudity scenes, there were families around us! The trip was as comfortable as it could be, given close proximity of seats. Appreciated the pillows and blankets, and frequent water and drinks.

Boarding was pretty terrible - no instructions, go left, give up the water bottle we JUST BOUGHT even though it was still unopened (it had to be "sealed", still no idea what that means because the seal wasn't broken), and the waiting room was very stuffy! Seemed we should have been able to get air...? Boarding went quickly, though, thankfully. Breakfast was pretty bad, one of us just skipped it once opened because it was so unappetizing. Would have liked movie ratings to appear in the descriptions to save the risk of getting started on lame shows.

Plane was late, no explanation. We boarded and sat on plane at gate for another hour, no explanation. Plane was falling apart and dirty. Pull down tray to discover old food all over tray and back of seat. Seat, floor, chair was grimy. Meal was inedible and every dish has meat, even if you requeted vegetarian in booking.

The seats are spacious. They give you great amenities such as a toothbrush, etc. The crew was very nice. The food was also superb for airplane food.

The check in process was terrible at SFO. We all felt like cattle being herded on. It was such a mess. The seats are surprisingly uncomfortable in premium economy. The headrest is not conducive to sleeping.

Horrible experience with Alitalia. They boarded us on a plane that had a wheel issue, and kept us on the ground for 2 hours before they decided to de-plane us. We then had to wait in a 5+ HOUR LINE to get rerouted (nope, they won't handle these issues online or over the phone, you have to wait in line). And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again.

they called for boarding and all the signs said the flight was boarding and yet we stood there for a good 20 minutes before they actually started boarding the flight, but other than that, flight and crew were great!

Departure was a bit late but we were informed. Even with that delay arrived on time. Coach seat was okay for me. Movies offered could be better but there was enough for my taste. It was a night flight anyway, so I was asleep most of the time.

The crew, again, was fabulous. Boarding, once the stuffy wait was over, went quickly. They attended to every request with smiles, gentle humor, and without delay. Nonstop movies were a great help on this second of two long legs, and it was really nice to have control over pausing, replaying portions, and jumping ahead past sex scenes. A 10-sec forward button like the back button would be very useful to skip nudity scenes, there were families around us! The trip was as comfortable as it could be, given close proximity of seats. Appreciated the pillows and blankets, and frequent water and drinks.

Boarding was pretty terrible - no instructions, go left, give up the water bottle we JUST BOUGHT even though it was still unopened (it had to be "sealed", still no idea what that means because the seal wasn't broken), and the waiting room was very stuffy! Seemed we should have been able to get air...? Boarding went quickly, though, thankfully. Breakfast was pretty bad, one of us just skipped it once opened because it was so unappetizing. Would have liked movie ratings to appear in the descriptions to save the risk of getting started on lame shows.
