Shame !!!!

A humiliating flight experience. Even though we paid for seating on the plane, we also paid for luggage. We arrived with 2 standard trolleys and before boarding the plane they forced us to send them. It did not help that I explained that in the suitcases there were things we needed for flying, valuables, and fragile objects. The crew member was rude and forced us to pull out our belongings: a laptop, a professional camera with a big lens, two books, two porcelain items we bought and we were afraid to send in the big suitcase, two bottles of drinks and two sandwiches. Passports and wallets. I begged the crewman to let me go with at least one suitcase, but he replied rudely that he did not care !!! There was a lot of room on the plane, in the cells. The crew agreed with me. They tried to help and brought me an orange garbage bag so I could put all my belongings in it ... really humiliating !!!

Instead we landed at Heathrow at almost 12am. The walk from the plane to the baggage collection was approx. a 15min walk which is too long for such a ridiculously delayed flight and then when I did arrive at the baggage area, my luggage did not arrive until 5-10mins later. I then had to travel to the south terminal of gatwick to get a train. By the time I reached the train station it was already past 12:30am and the train to London bridge that I usually take was no longer running. The only option I had was to take a train into the city then take a night bus all the way home or take a taxi. So I took a tax costing me more than double the amount I would have paid taking train home. This was without any sort of compensation or real explanation for the cause of delay. This is the second time I have taken an easyjet flight from Basel and it has been delayed. I am highly dissatisfied with the overall journey. As a note, the company should consider having blankets on deck for the evening flights in the winter when it is cold. I asked for one and there wasn't even one on deck.

we were delayed by some half an hour because of what was said to be over-booking but the pilots however did well to make up the time meaning that we landed right at the scheduled time. Brilliant. We thought this over-booking business was a thing of the past.

The walk from the plane to the baggage collection was approx. a 15min walk which is too long for such a ridiculously delayed flight and then when I did arrive at the baggage area, my luggage did not arrive until 5-10mins later. I then had to travel to the south terminal of gatwick to get a train. By the time I reached the train station it was already past 12:30am and the train to London bridge that I usually take was no longer running. Checkin with speedy boarding very annoying. No clear markings for speedy boarding. Unclear where to stand in line, especially if you come later after speedy boarding started already. In flight the crew started relatively late with bistro service - loads of waiting time. Reserved seat in first row but could store luggage only far back, so the advantage of first row and first out completely disappeared

Shame !!!!

A humiliating flight experience. Even though we paid for seating on the plane, we also paid for luggage. We arrived with 2 standard trolleys and before boarding the plane they forced us to send them. It did not help that I explained that in the suitcases there were things we needed for flying, valuables, and fragile objects. The crew member was rude and forced us to pull out our belongings: a laptop, a professional camera with a big lens, two books, two porcelain items we bought and we were afraid to send in the big suitcase, two bottles of drinks and two sandwiches. Passports and wallets. I begged the crewman to let me go with at least one suitcase, but he replied rudely that he did not care !!! There was a lot of room on the plane, in the cells. The crew agreed with me. They tried to help and brought me an orange garbage bag so I could put all my belongings in it ... really humiliating !!!
