Cons: "My bag was lost. The staff at the airport was friendly enough and assured me it would be delivered to my hotel in dublin that afternoon. It’s now the next day and I still have not received my bag. I’ve call multiple times and still cannot give me a straight answer. So now I have to check out of this hotel and hope my bag shows up before moving on to my next destination. Also, on the flight I asked for 2 glasses of tap water while they came around asking if we would like to purchase a soft or alcoholic drink or snacks. There was no water on the cart so she had to continue servicing the rest of the plane and said she would be back. The first flight attendant must of forgotten, that’s okay she was probably busy. I asked a second flight attendant, 10 minutes go by and she still didn’t bring us water. Finally asked a 3rd flight attendant and he brought it to us quickly, this was 30miniutes after I first asked. I felt that my request wasn’t as important because I didn’t have to purchase it."

Cons: "My issue has more to do with after the flight, than the actual flight. My luggage was lost somehow between Heathrow and Shannon. The lack of communication I received from Aer Lingus, and the length of time it took for me to get the luggage was a bit ridiculous. I was never told what happened to the luggage and I was given the timeline to receive my luggage within 24 hours. Well it took over 48 hours to get the luggage. I was given specific timeframes to call the Shannon Airport Aer Lingus luggage desk, which I followed. Had to leave a message every time, and not once was it returned. The only communication I did get was calling the Shannon Airport directly and working with their employees. I could tell they were frustrated with me, which is completely understandable, because they weren't the appropriate people to communicate with. I was just very disappointed in the customer service."

We were kept standing until 19.35 (when the flight was scheduled to depart) and then the door was opened, just for us to sit on the staircase waiting to be admitted into the plane for another 20 minutes. I understand delays and unforeseen events, but no rep had the courtesy of telling us why we had been kept waiting this way, on the contrary we were told to move further down the stairs so we can make more room, resulting in being crammed one next to each other. Eventually at around 8 pm we were finally allowed to get on the plane. Not a cool experience, especially when Luton is 2hrs away from London so the passengers had already spent at least 3-4 hours on the road to get to the airport."

When we got to the airport, we had to pay an additional 40 pounds each for 4 bags to be taken on the plane, which was DOUBLE per bag than the seats cost ($20 each). When on the plane, I wanted a cup of water and they brought a bottle that cost 5 euros. This airline will nickel and dime you into oblivion."

Instead, A large queue was in place for over 40 minutes and once boarding commenced, as many were checking cabin bags into the hold, boarding took about 30 minutes, delaying the flight by 30 minutes"
Cons: "Ryanair boarded the plane only for us to be stuck inside a dirty stinky tunnel with no plane at the end of it. Crying children, moaning kids, no air conditioning, for about 1.5 hours. Ryanair as a company KNEW they'd be delayed, yet they board us into a disgusting tunnel to sit on the floor with no toilets no water nothing. We then board but at this point I was deathly ill and Ryanair didn't take care of us at all with any free refreshments like they should have for being late. Disgusting service. Won't be flying with them ever again this happens way too often."

After tedious set up of account, I went through and completed the check-in procedure the day before the flight. However, when I attempted to download my boarding pass, the ap failed. I went to the airport 3 hours early. No attendant to be found so that problem could be resolved. less than 1.5 hours before the flight time, and after standing in line for 1 agent, I was told I could not be checked in, because I did not have a boarding pass, and I would have to purchase one from a service desk (different airline was providing service). The service agent said the Ryanair ap should have worked, and called them to request a waiver on the charge. They refused. I had to go back to the gate desk in order to check in, and very nearly missed my flight. Never again!"

Why wouldn't they mention this when we sat on hold to tell them we could not get the tickets to print??"
Cons: "I booked this flight from the US 2 months in advance, I first traveled to London and then onto Dublin after a week, I paid extra for guaranteed seats and to check my luggage. When i turned up at the airport after having no internet access for a week I was charged an extra $230 because i had not checked in online or printed my boarding pass. This is nothing more than an outrageous scam designed to swindle travelers out of more money. I will never use Ryanair again."
