At the departure lounge in Kuwait, we waited for more than 2 hours and the staff did not explain/announce the delay. I had to witness the plight of some passengers who could not go to the bath room for the fear of missing their place in the long queue. The return flight was delayed for more than 3 hours. Entertainment was the same for both onward and return journey after 3 weeks of break. Food, they missed our specific request for meals on our return journey.

The crew was on point, the comfort was great though the plane was a bit cold they had plenty of blankets. The organization of finally getting onto the plane was great.

The boarding process was confusing and disorganized. Perhaps it's always this way but they began boarding rows 32-47, but never changed the monitor when boarding of additional rows began. I didn't understand the need for extra security prior to arriving at the gate either. I was already in the terminal, but then needed an additional sticker on my passport. Not enough options in the entertainment section.

Swiss airlines have emails to give you options on entertainment and everything else...follow their lead

The flight attendants were rude and moody like they didnt want to be there and took it out on the people they were suppose to give service to. One flight attendent got upset or acted a little nasty because I asked her for another custom border slip. She said was going to bring one but I guess she forgot and an atleast 30 minutes to an hour went by till I asked her again and she got nasty. The same lady along with the other flight attendants snatched trash out peoples hands like they were diseased...and they had gloves on. When it came to entertainment they didnt have much variety. Unless the price for the flight is dirt cheap or below average I would choose to fly with them again other than that I'll go to another

I like the flight route

This is my fourth time booking Emirates for my route through kayak. The route is longer but I choose it for on-board Internet for work emails. Generally, they have on-board WiFi Internet, however for my return route of 21 hours both flights had no wifi which was disappointing. This is unprofessional because if you are planning on having WiFi to respond to work emails and it is not available once you are already in the air there is nothing you could do but get stuck. Never does this happen with Lufthansa, Turkish, Etihad. Disappointing.

The staff were friendly and all smiles. Seats were comfortable and we had a quick, smooth flight from Edinburgh to Amsterdam. The breakfast supplied was an egg and mayonnaise sandwich plus a drink, which seemed about right and very Dutch in character.

It was rainy and necessary to walk outside to access the plane; the staff should give their customers a heads-up so that jackets can be donned. Additionally, the check-in queue seemed rather sluggish.

The ground staff at Dallas were extremely rude. Made an old woman cry. Did not use common sense to check in people. Due to delays because of maintenance issues, I had to wait at LHR for 9 hours! I was given 2 meal vouchers which I could not use because I have dietary restrictions and the airport had no place for me to get food. I was not expecting such a long delay and hence did not have a change of clothes/jacket or anything. The airport was ridiculously cold and I had to spend 13 pounds out of my own pocket in order to buy a cheap blanket to keep me slightly warm at the airport. The customer service refused to even allow me to use the lounge for a little while to get some shut eye or freshen up. When it was finally time to board, at the last minute, the crew announced that they were having maintenance issues AGAIN and we were delayed by 1.5 hours more. CRAZY! Lastly, when i reached Mumbai and opened my bag, my iPhone which was stowed away in my checked in luggage had disappeared. Very very disappointed by the service and lack of customer care.

Even though some of the passengers were tough and angry after a cancellation of another airline’s flight, the crew did everything in their power to make the flight go smooth. They attended every need, and made sure everyone gets what the wanted. Also cleaned the toilet very often!

The airplane is crappy (old 747). The entertainment system didn’t work in my seat. I was told nicely that they know it’s an old airplane, and it’s going out of service soon. After that they really made sure I feel comfortable.

Our AI flight from Ahmedabad to Mumbai was delayed by more than 3 hrs. Though I had access to the Business Class passenger lounge, the one at the AMD airport is less than mediocre. Finally, when we reached BOM, it took the wheelchair service nearly an hour to get me and other wheelchair dependent passengers off the plane. This nearly caused us to miss our connecting flight to Newark. We also did not get to use the lounge in BOM as a result of the delay in AMD and BOM. I was travelling in Business Class due to my severely bad health condition. My husband was travelling in economy. AI ground staff was so arrogant and inconsiderate that they would not help my husband get a seat (within economy class) close to the Business Class section so he can attend to me periodically on the 16-hour long flight to Newark. In addition to the ground and flight staff being inconsiderate, the interior of the plane and the food service (in the economy class) are less than mediocre. We had choice of other airlines, but being proud indians, my wife and I decided to give AI a chance. Next time, we will find other ways to show our love for India than patronizing AI.

Movie selection; not really a great selection for movies, even regionalmovies are more than 2-3 yr old; audio ports are not good; head phones are cheap and noise is more. Food selection is limited including starters; need to give warm nuts (cashews, Aonds, and Peanuts); the easy packs are tasteless. Food is routine style, need to add variety. I always travel in Business class, at least there some good food need be served; not sure how poor economy class food is

Very poorly organized airline From checkin - boarding to flight

Boarded like cattle Food was horrible Will neve every fly business again on this. Business class lounge as pathetic.

Food was ok. Bathrooms were clean.

They changed my husband's seat number without asking us and then we're very confrontational about it. In flight entertainment was dated and very limited options for kids with just one episode each of the popular shows.

The entertainment system wasn't working. Very bad maintenance and inspite of requesting them for a change, no action was taken. Everything was bad. Specially the landing was horrible.

NO ONE IN TURKISH AIRLINES WILL HELP YOU AND WHEN YOU ASK FOR HELP IT BECOMES AN INCONVENIENCE FOR THEM. HERE'S THE STORY, MY FLIGHT WAS 2 HOURS LATE SO WHEN WE LANDED TO CATCH OUR TRANSIT FLIGHT IT WAS ALREADY GONE. SO WHEN WE ARRIVE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ABOUT A HOTEL OR FOOD THEY HAND US THIS PAPER AND TOLD US TO GO TO THE HOTEL THAT IS IN THE AIRPORT IT WOULD BE FOR FREE ALONG WITH THE FOOD. WHEN WE GET THERE THEY TOLD US NO, IT IS ONLY FOR BUSINESS TRAVELERS AND WHEN WE EXPLAIN THAT PASSPORT CONTROL SENT US HERE WITH THIS PAPER THEY RESPONDED NO, WE NEED A HOTEL VOUCHER AND WE NEED TO GO BACK. WHEN WE ASK HER TO CALL PASSPORT CONTROL (BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SENT US TO THEM) TO SPEAK TO THEM YOURSELF, SHE SAYS "IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM" WHICH THEN MADE ME SNAP AT HER AND TELL HER WTF DO YOU MEAN ITS NOT YOUR PROBLEM? YOU WORK HERE!!" SO WHEN I ASK FOR THE MANAGERS NUMBER FOR COMPLAINT SHE GIVES ME A 5 DIGIT NUMBER THAT LOOKS MORE LIKE A ZIP CODE THEN A PHONE NUMBER. THEN WE GO BACK TO PASSPORT CONTROL WHO TOLD US THAT WE WOULD HAVE A FREE HOTEL AND FOOD THEY CHANGED THERE STORY AND DIRECTED US TO PAY FOR A VISA AND PAY FOR A HOTEL OUTSIDE. SO IN THE END THEY GAVE US A BULLSHIT STORY SO THEY CAN GET RID OF US AND HAVE US RUN AROUND WHERE IN THE END WE GAVE UP AND SLEPT IN THE AIRPORT TILL WE GOT HOME. THIS IS WHEN I WAS COMING BACK WITH TURKISH AIRLINES. GOING TO MY PLACE OF DESTINATION THE FLIGHT WAS LATE 4 HOURS AND LUCKILY FOR US WE HAD A LONG LAYOVER THAT WE DIDNT MISS MY FLIGHT GOING TO MY PLACE OF DESTINATION. SO GOING AND RETURNING FLIGHT WAS LATE! WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!! I WOULD NEVER FLY WITH TURKISH AIRLINES! AND WHILE I WAS THERE FINALLY GETTING READY TO GO HOME A MAN SAT BEHIND ME AND ASKED ME IF I WAS GOING ON THE SAME FLIGHT AS HIM AND I TOLD HIM NO WHICH THEN HE STRIKES UP THE CONVERSATION AS TO HOW TURKISH AIRLINES MADE HIM MISS HIS FIGHT AND GAVE HIM HELL! SO I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM! IN THE END HE SAID TO ME TURKISH AIRLINES IS GARBAGE! AND I DONT BLAME HIM!! STAFF WAS THE WORST THING TO DEAL WITH AT TURKISH AIRLINES!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
