Pros: "Not enough information"
Cons: "The flight times went explained properly very missleading"
Cons: "Finding out that I had to pay more for my bag."
Pros: "Kind and caring staff"
Pros: "I made it"
Cons: "If I were a bit older or slower I wouldn’t have made plane. It is unfortunate I had two leg journey to Ireland. BWI - Heathrow- Dublin is a difficult journey with 1 hour layover. I nearly had to push old ladies out of the way to make connection. Very stressful and left headphones in haste to make flight. Not an enjoyable experience."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 30 mins"
Pros: "Short flight so no food"
Cons: "All good"
Pros: "Food and entertainment are not applicable for this flight as it is too short to need this anyway"
Cons: "Late, no food or drink, confusion at checkin"
Pros: "Very busy flight but staff very professional"
Pros: "A bit late getting started but very nice after that."
Cons: "Must you charge for tea?"
Cons: "That I missed the flight because of Iberia airlines"
Pros: "Boarding clerk was excellent. He was very helpful"
Pros: "Flights were on time"
Cons: "Boarding was a bit confusing and staff wasn't actively being helpful with information. Got absolutely nothing to drink/eat on the plane-not even a glass of water! The flight crew was just ok, no one "stood out" as good or excellent. Again, nothing about this flight made me want to definitely fly British Airways again."
Pros: "The Aer Lingus staff are brilliant!"
Cons: "Nothing to report"
Cons: "Please include a complimentary tea and/or snack."
Pros: "Same as above"
Cons: "Same as above"
Cons: "It would be nice if someone cared about something. It didn't seem like anyone liked their job or cared about the passengers. All seemed like corporate greed. I have flown over 40,000 miles this year. This was the most unsatisfactory flight. Come on guys, create a good environment for a win win situation. Happy passengers make more money for the corporation in the end."
Pros: "Did not like that I had to buy a coke. Like common really?"
Pros: "I liked the professionalism of the cede and the cleanliness of the cabin"
Cons: "I was a little frustrated with the delayed start"
Pros: "They got us there."
Cons: "We flew in from San Francisco to London on full-price Business Class tickets. Stupidly, I bought Coach tickets separately for the short leg to Dublin. British Air would not check two bags all the way to Dublin. For one of the bags, we did the measurements, and joined all the other people who haul extra luggage onto the plane for carry-on. For the other bag, sixty-five Pounds Sterling (about eighty-five bucks) for the other bag for a one hour flight. Wow! That put a big damper on the whole flight experience."
Pros: "I really liked how neat & professional the crew were dressed. The plane was new & the seats were comfortable."
Cons: "I didn't like that beverages (like water, juice, coffee) weren't complimentary. All the flights I've been on in the U.S. offer those for free, along with a small snack."
Pros: "No complaints about the flight. It was so short that we didn't even have time to get a drink or snack. Quite a bit of turbulence but I think that might be typical."
Cons: "Gate not given until last minute. The most cramped plane I have ever been on and I’m petite. No complimentary anything."
Cons: "Horrible plane. Sounded like it was on its last legs."
Pros: "Short flight, slept all the way!"
Cons: "Did not eat and no entertainment on this short flight so food and entertainment not applicable."
Pros: "It was quick"
Cons: "Food options were bad"
Pros: "My flight was changed at airport"
Cons: "Barely made flight-- no help offered"
Pros: "The staff onboard the flight was friendly."
Cons: "There was a last minute gate change that was not announced until boarding was closing, so I had to race across to the other side of the airport to catch the plane. There was no food/drinks provided on the flight."
Cons: "Worse experience ever!!!!"
Pros: "They tried to help me in person by making a phone call to the security gate."
Cons: "Despite the call to security (I guess it was to the security gate? Not sure) it seemed standard the way they spoke, not as if anyone seemed empathetic to my situation as I am a graduate student and was in dire need of returning to Dublin, Ireland for work the following morning. I have had a different experience with different British Airways representatives. The customer service on the phone seemed good, but in person, it just felt like robots following policy unfortunately. I spent $150 for a roundtrip flight and could not use my "Return" portion of my ticket. I arrived to the security gate and I could not be let in. My flight was even delayed which should have allowed me time to scan through security but it did not. My phone is temporarily unavailable as it is in the shop for repair, while I navigate a foreign country without the use of maps or access to email so easily. I checked my email at a random hotel in London for 1.5 hours, and 30 mins after I left, apparently an email was sent by BA to me, alerting me that I could check-in my luggage, instead of having to take it on-board as carry-on. All these details would have been nice to know a little more ahead of time. I wish I could be refunded for my flight, as that was the last flight of the evening, and I ended up having to go to Air Lingus to pay nearly 300 pounds to get on their last flight back to Dublin. As a graduate student, working on my thesis and fulfilling a job here in Ireland as the final leg of my Master's degree, any money saved is a help. Forfeiting half my ticket, and purchasing a new one twice the price of my original was not something I was expecting. I was an emotional wreck getting on-board my other airline's flight. Just not a positive experience that resonated with me overall :( I wish I had more positive insight to share, especially on social media or Yelp about my experience to London and back with BA. Plane was small, and complimentary drinks were not served as every flight I have ever been on in 30 years, and that is several several dozen, have ALWAYS given at least a drink, even if they didn't have peanuts/pretzels. Pretty disappointing.."
Pros: "Quick and easy!"
Pros: "Quick flight."
Cons: "Flight was delayed, plane didn't take off for a long time after boarding."
Cons: "The service was terrible and staff was unpleasant"
Pros: "The food was elevated and we were fed twice on our 9 hour flight! The beverage service was also provided often with a good assortment. I loved that there were new release movies available for free. The staff was friendly and available. If I were to do another long flight like that, I would seek out British Airways."
Cons: "Nothing to complain about"
Cons: "There was no entertainment for that flight."
Pros: "I was exhausted and so was my flight buddy. The staff was helpful and quietc and got us on board and to our destination without us having to think which was great."
Cons: "Because I didn't make it and I want my money back"
Pros: "Standard BA dependability. Like a dependable but stodgy old uncle."
Cons: "Chaotic boarding process. No enforcement of boarding groups"
Cons: "It was not British Airways but Aer Lingus !!"
Pros: "It was short"
Pros: "They keep the food coming in there are a decent range of TV and movie options."
Cons: "We booked an overnight layover flight and seemingly that confused all airports systems that we are unable to check in for both of our parts of the return flight. This meant we were not able to select our seats very far in advance for a return flight and initially my husband and I were seated separately but thankfully kind people on board were willing to switch with us. The gate check person in Dublin also on this in our bags to Boston but luckily caught her mistake within a couple of minutes and our bags didn't make it to our correct home destination on our flight back from Europe. We were never prompted to make any specific meal selection restrictions so my vegan husband was not able to eat anything on our flights to or from Europe. The flights were both kept very cold and of course the space and economy is quite tight."
Pros: "Flight staff was very good and so was the customer staff who were friendly but had to deal with so many missed flights."
Cons: "Ground staff management management was extremely poor: a. Flight was booked by BA with a 90-120 minute transfer time but LHR ground staff couldn't get the crowds flowing . And we missed every connecting flight. b. Informed ground staff that the flight was leaving in 90 minutes, and told them that we will not make it if we can't get into the express line but they told us "too bad". BA booked us and confirmed that it was enough time to catch our flights. We missed every single connecting fligh and had to wait 2-4 hours to catch the next flight. And we lost our seating arrangement which made it difficult since we have children. c. When we got to about 30 minutes to our flight then they switched us to the express line but it was always too late. Very disappointed with the BA airport management. d. A lot of people were trying to rebook flights, and that line became too long. I empathize with the BA booking staff but not with the ground management staff. e. Avoid BA if you have to get a connecting flight at LHR and it is within less than 2 hours, it was a poorly managed operation."
Pros: "The crew were nice."
Cons: "Aircraft is not even that old and is already massively out of date. Why offer wifi if there's no way to charge anything? In flight entertainment was awful. Poor selection or old movies. The water pump by the middle restrooms made a high pitched wine for about 7 hours of the 11 hour flight. I'll never fly Aer Lingus again."
Pros: "The crew was friendly and professional."
Cons: "Boarding the plane by taking a bus that I had to stand on was very uncomfortable (I have bad knees)."
Pros: "Very friendly and courteous crew. And free packet of crisps!"
Pros: "Great crew who served a light meal and drinks enthusiastically on this quick flight, which operated bang on time. And to make it perfect, my bag was delivered within 10 minutes of landing."
Pros: "Crew was friendly and they know how to board."
Cons: "No personal TVs, food could always be better"
Cons: "I have flown LHR - DUB a couple of times in the last month with BA and a couple more times in the last year from LHR-DUB and not once has the flight left LHR on time and landed in DUB on time. I find this very frustrating, they appear to always be delayed by 1hr + which make it very challenging to make onward travel plans and has resulted in overnight stays at my own expense."
Pros: "If you are flying without luggage or carry-on, Ryan Air might be fore you."
Cons: "The airline charges a ridiculous amount for EVERYTHING! We bought our tickets and realized almost immediately that bags were not included. We tried to upgrade our ticket type to be inclusive of a bag, but took two hours to navigate their automated "customer service". Finally got through to a live person (which they charge for), they will allow you to upgrade the ticket if you bought through KAYAK. You have to purchase your bags separately, and 1 bag was significantly more than what our ticket costs. I contacted KAYAK roughly 5 hours after the original purchase, and they could do nothing because Ryan Air is a low cost carrier. It was cheaper buy Aer Lingus seats inclusive of luggage than to add luggage on Ryan Air. I will never fly Ryan Air again, and caution anyone trying to buy Ryan Air through KAYAK"
Pros: "The flight was short."
Cons: "This is our long awaited honeymoon. We have traveled and checked in to over 8 flights on this trip all across Europe. But with Ryan air, for some reason, I checked in for the flight but it did not accept on RyanAir side for some reason. I knew I would need to pay for excess luggage (not a surprise. I was expecting it) but then I paid to get up front seats with priority boarding. I had to enter in all the passport info, select seats and pay immediately.(figuring this is checking in, since it was all in the checking in section of he website) So all together a flight was originally $100, turned into a flight that cost me well over $300. Then at the airport, they told me I never checked in. I was charged £90 just to check in!!! Then on top of it I had the counter clerk call me a "bloody wanker" and asking if I have" ever checked into a flight before". He continued to berate me and insult my intelligence. When I asked to see a manager because at this point in only had 20 minutes to get to the boarding gate, he threw a fit and said I need to move out of the way or else he will not even check if the manager is available. The manager and the second clerk who helped is were very nice about things. Surprise fees and not even a small amount of compassion for 2 people who are on their honeymoon, insults, and paying more to go from London to Dublin than to go from Dublin to Manila (the next stop) is absurd!!! I will never fly RyanAir again and will do everything in my power to make sure no one I know will fly with them. Miserable."
Cons: "This is by far one of the worst companies I've ever used. They upcharge you for anything they can. Our flight went from cheap to expensive as hell really quickly. Extremely unorganized with awful pricing models. You would think in modern times that airlines like this would adopt new business paradigms. Their website was awful and out of date, they charge for seat selection, they charged an extra $65 per ticket for not checking in 2 hours before, check in bags were expensive and in airport services were crowded and extremely unorganized. If you can fly a different airline besides Ryanair I would suggest doing it. I would rather take a boat to my destination."
Cons: "They closed online check in 2 hours before departure. You can only check in at counter with 45 pounds fee!"
Pros: "Fast and cheap. Clean."
Cons: "Seats too small."
Cons: "It was late"
Pros: "Flight was on time and flight crew was nice."
Cons: "This is the worst airline I've ever dealt with. The check in process is ridiculous. If you don't check yourself in online its £45 and if you don't print your own boarding passes its £15 per person. After 5 attempts of putting in all the information repeatedly, I finally got us checked in but could not get the passes to print. Unfortunately, Stanstead doesn't accept mobile passes so I got to pay the £30 fee. Then they claimed I never booked a bag so another £45 fee. And then the same bag that I checked in Scotland via Ryanair was suddenly too big/heavy so it got an oversize charge. i ended up paying more for baggage and boarding passes than I did for four tickets!! The "customer service" reps we dealt with were rude and really seemed to hate their jobs. The flight crew was nice though. Overall, I'd never ever suggest this airline to anyone who doesn't have more money than brains."
Cons: "10 minutes after booking I realized that while they flew to London, they didn't fly to Heathrow. I attempted to cancel, as is permitted in the US within 24 hours, to no avail."
Pros: "The flights were on time, and easy. The price was good."
Cons: "There are a lot of fees that you don't know about, and Kayak could better support its customers by sending them messages explaining that if you do not have printed boarding passes before arriving they will charge, and that the baggage allowances are much smaller, and if you book your baggage in advance rather than waiting until you arrive you actually save money."
Cons: "They charged me 45 pounds for a boarding pass..I have flown on 3rd world airlines better than Ryan air! Also stansted is a horrible airport!"
Pros: "I wasn't allowed to fly as the Scottish government said non essential travel wasn't allowed and I wasn't allowed the opportunity to get a voucher for my flight"
Cons: "Seeing as I wasn't allowed to fly l could have been offered a voucher or someone at Ryanair help could have answered my question about my flight"
Cons: "Travelers need to be informed better about Ryanair's baggage restrictions."
Pros: "Nothing, my worst flying experience since 1993"
Cons: "Check in, why no simple bag drop off? The cabin supervisor never shut up on the microphone, non stop it was, 14hrs later and my ears still thumping"
Pros: "Quick easy and cheap"
Cons: "Not good communication regarding delays-except from the pilot after we were waiting too long."
Cons: "There’s nowhere to put anything. Usually there’s a pouch to put your stuff in. That would be helpful."
Cons: "Flight bit cramped in seats"
Cons: "Departure was delayed over 3 hiurs"
Cons: "They screwed us at every opportunity. I tried to check on online from my smart phone. I was able to acc SS my itinerary and it allowed me to do everything BUT check in. We had to wait to get to the airport, then they said we were too late (we were 90 minutes early). They raped us with 110 pound fee, which was more then we paid for the tickets. Then because we were “late” by their definition they wouldn’t let us take our carry on into the cabin. They forced us to check it. Then on the plane they wanted to charge for a diet drink. We are usually pretty laid back but by this time we were both pretty upset. Obviously."
Cons: "We were told we had to go to the toilets before taking off as the Toilets were not working on the plane. Also the plane was delayed in taking off."
Pros: "The price was good, but we certainly got nothing but the absolute basics for the price."
Pros: "Can’t complain about £14 flights"
Cons: "Screwed up airport - if you're just flying through, Dublin is a MAJOR hassle. Had to leave the airport and go through security once again to connect."
Pros: "Comfortable flight, nice crew, and plenty of legroom."
Cons: "They did not have a space to add bags for the flight when booking. When we got to the airport, we had to pay an additional 40 pounds each for 4 bags to be taken on the plane, which was DOUBLE per bag than the seats cost ($20 each). When on the plane, I wanted a cup of water and they brought a bottle that cost 5 euros. This airline will nickel and dime you into oblivion."
Pros: "The employee were very nice."
Cons: "The plane was late getting off the ground, no where to put our bags"
Cons: "Small seats"
Cons: "3hr delayed."
Pros: "We had to carry our bags up and down several flights of stairs. Not very friendly to disabled or elderly folks."
Cons: "Delayed a bit."
Pros: "Ease of use"
Cons: "Over an hour delay"
Cons: "took forever, endless queues, confusion, more queues. Plane looked dumb inside. Constant up-charges. The whole experience felt bush-league and classless."
Pros: "no redeeming quality"
Cons: "the accommodations, seats, personnel, ticketing, take off, landing, lack of courtesy, lack of amenity, lack of charm, lack of class, lack of professionalism"
Pros: "Ryain sir charge me 50 ponds to check in. Craze."
Cons: "will not do it again."
Cons: "Late. No announcements. Tight seating."
Pros: "No problems"
Cons: "Rude representatives and terrible organization."
Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "Pretty much everything else. They even charge extra if my wife and I want the privilege of sitting together."
Pros: "Everything good"
Cons: "Everything good"
Pros: "The flight itself was fine."
Cons: "Customer rep at check-in counter was not friendly. Also: 1. Wanted to charge people we were traveling with for printing their boarding pass, when they had their boarding passes on line on their cell phone. 2. Could not just check in luggage at check in counter. Bags were weighed there but then we had to go to a different counter to pay the luggage fees, then return to the check-in counter. Very inconvenient for customers"
Pros: "I liked how cheap RyanAir was to fly. It made hopping from GB to Ireland easier and cheaper."
Cons: "The only problem with RyanAir was their check in process. If you don't check in online you pay 50£ My wife and I didn't have a printer and that was problematic because they didn't have mobile boarding passes. Even with their iPhone app."
Pros: "Cheap air fare"
Cons: "Not even water to drink on plane"
Cons: "The staff had no idea what was going on half the time. I had to wait in 3 different lines and were told 3 different things because I didn't check in before arriving at the airport. Unfortunately, I did not have internet access nor a phone to check-in ahead of schedule. Since the airlines assumed that everyone has this luxury, it wouldn't be a problem."
Pros: "The agents act like police men and women. Too corrective."
Cons: "Attitude, correctiveness"
Cons: "four hour delay--missed my appointment"
Pros: "Price and did not crash"
Cons: "Everything else"
Cons: "Sardine seating. Very poor "breakfast". Constant selling of deals"
Pros: "Inexpensive bus ride to London from Dublin."
Cons: "Everything is an upcharge...bag check, food, seating choice...and then bombarded with trinket purchase, donation to charity, beverage and food purchase... Rough landings on both legs of the trip...like pilots still training on how to land. Weather was clear and beautiful, so was not condition- related."
Cons: "Crying baby"
