On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

The following day, the flight was delayed almost for two hours in Kigali and then 1.5 hours in Nairobi. Don't fly Kenya Airway! Their customer care service are terrible, their disability services very poor. Avoid this airline , please!"

When I asked help with directions and told him I was afraid of missing my flight people laughed and walked away. When I finally found my terminal and got to it, my flight had already took off seven minutes prior. I absolutelyHated my experience flying with Ethiopian air. The seats are uncomfortable on the plane, not all the seats recline back the same level, and when I was eating dinner I decided to eat chicken since I can’t eat beef and halfway through the check in my stomach started her and I looked up the chicken and it was still pink inside."
Cons: "The crew on the ground could be more friendly and could improve their communication. Improvement needed on the food."

Pros: "I took a roundtrip to Addis Abeba, Ethiopia from Washington, DC. The trip was 13 hours there and 16 on the way back (I think that included a refueling stop in Dublin). There was plenty of food and beverages provided throughout the flight - usually every 3 hours or so. Blankets, pillows, and several movie/entertainment were provided."
Cons: "I would prefer the the main cabin lights be kept off longer."
Pros: "The food served is awesome and sufficient. The flights are comfortable and the crew are friendly. My luggage came right on time and was properly handled"

Cons: "The fact that they write your card details carelessly on a pierce of paper when making an inflight purchase. Should be swipe and all done. No need writing those sensitive data down."

Pros: "The cabin crew did a good job of managing all sorts of issues, and they had a lot to deal with. People switching seats, refusing to get up from wrong seats, oversized carry on, personal hygiene. The crew did their job professionally and with a smile. Made big impression. I did have a much different and better experience going from ADD to BKK"
Cons: "The food, comfort and entertainment on this plane was below OK. The monitors were unresponsive to touch, antiquated ear phone/ plug system and the seats were nasty, covered in a cloth material and disgusting! On some seats you can see stains that will not come out. Ever. The food was....airline food."

Cons: "They don't need to translate everything into Ethiopian language. There isn't a single person flying from Addis to Malawi (or Malawi to Addis) who speaks Ethiopian, so it's a waste of everyone's time and interrupts the movie, sleep, and meal."

And, weeks later I'm still trying to get my money back, over a thousand dollars lost to an unprofessional airline."
