Pros: "The seats are extremely crowded"
Cons: "To not wait 10 min outside waiting for the bus to pick-up the passengers."
Pros: "The crew was very nice but somewhat disinterested. Perhaps because their average age was 14?"
Cons: "The whole luggage thing is a nightmare! Ive never gotten SO many pre-flight messages! I kept paying MORE Euros, for an already overpriced flight.....and never was really sure what I was paying for??? And STILL had to smash one piece of luggage into the other??? I think ill do easy jet next time!"
Pros: "Thank you"
Cons: "Delays and missed bus"
Pros: "On time - From Southend"
Cons: "The extra charges at EVERY turn on a hellish web site that makes you never fly again"
Pros: "I do not know why we could not select seat upon booking - so that my wife and I could have sat next to each other. I know it's away you would like to make extra cash - but its a bit silly"
Cons: "The Yellow colour on seats - juts looks bad"
Pros: "The price."
Cons: "1. The flight was late an hour and 5 minutes. 2. There were announcements in Arabic and substandard English. Zero Spanish. For a flight going to Madrid, Spanish is a must."
Pros: "It was average"
Cons: "The seats could have been better, and the lighting"
Pros: "Excellent pilots did their job very well, despite bad weather."
Cons: "I saw how they through my bag and the broke my perfume"
Pros: "Great experience at Tenerife airport. Fast, efficient check in and through security with ease. Boarding was ok and on time."
Cons: "Plane seats are very uncomfortable. I thought it was just me on the way out but it was as bad on the return and even my husband was complaining of being uncomfortable. The seats made this journey seem much longer than our 9 hour flight to Florida earlier in the year and the backs of my legs still haven’t recovered from yesterday’s flight. I am 5ft 1in and the seats are too high off the floor and too deep for my legs to be comfortable and not have too much pressure in the wrong place. They need foot rests to allow legs to be raised and pressure eased."
Cons: "Delayed, then slow luggage reclaim (I believe that's your problem rather than the airport)"
Cons: "It would be amazing to get 30 minutes without trying to sell something and constant use of the microphone for useless promotions. I don't really get on flights so I can buy a watch, a perfume or a scratch card, no need to spend 5 minutes trying to sell it."
Pros: "Cabin staff was polite, the flight was short."
Cons: "The check in process is absurd. I did not have a chance to check in on my phone beforehand, so I waited in line to check in at the desk. At my turn, the woman behind the desk was annoyed with me for not checking in and told me I had to go speak with another office (though she did not clarify why) and then come back to her. The airport was small, so lines for check in, security, this other office, and those seeking food were all merged into one large group. This second office didn’t open for another 40 minutes so I was thankful I’d arrived early. Standing in line, those around me all figured out why we were there: this was the line to pay extra fees. Apparently if one doesn’t check in beforehand, there is a fee. Ok, I had a few euros left. Nope, it was €68.20 to check in at the airport desk. I took my receipt and went back to the first line, she printed me a boarding pass and I was able to get through security. The fee to check in at airport was more than the cost of my ticket."
Cons: "Not good communication regarding delays-except from the pilot after we were waiting too long."
Cons: "Delay 90minutes.. Miss the rent a car.. Lost a bunch of money. Never again Ryanair"
Cons: "I got charged 69 euros for not checking in online!!!!! More than the ticket price!!!!!!! This is robbery! Worse airlines ever, thieves! Do not ever travel with this company"
Pros: "Smooth flight"
Cons: "Couldn't adjust the seat and no backpockets."
Cons: "They charged €55 for checking in at the airport, and wasted even more time schlepping between different counters with handwritten paper slips. it would be cheaper and more efficient to just have a mechanised checkin process. It's not clear who benefits from this expensive and annoying rigamarole."
Cons: "i realize you're a budget airline, but the flight was horrible. the seats were incredibly uncomfortable, and i could not recline them. the smell of the toilet was present in the entire plane. beverages (coffee, tea and water) should be provided for free, especially water. there was absolutely no organization in the airport in sofia, everyone just pushed and shoved to board. very poor experience."
Cons: "La vente à bord de façon instante par l'équipage Ryanair."
Cons: "The flight the board on time"
Pros: "I love Rome...it was truly amazing but the airline was horrible, service was the worst."
Cons: "Overall this airline has been the worst airline I have traveled with. From the staff being rude and yelling at us in front of customers to the airplane seats. I understand it's a cheap low price airline but come on."
Cons: "Check in, crowds, cramped seats"
Cons: "landing had some turbulence"
Cons: "I did my reservation online and they asked me to pay 50 euro because it not completed I already did first step and second strip but than no response from your website I came to the airport 3 hours before departure to a void the problem but office was closed"
Pros: "Short flight option compared to a long ferry ride."
Cons: "The ticket price was about $0 but the baggage check fee was $60."
Pros: "Absolutely nothing! Horrible airline to say the least :("
Cons: "Very rude staff and overall poor service!"
Pros: "Speedy boarding."
Cons: "Stansted security a pain. Seat uncomfortable."
Pros: "Crew were good and the pilot got us there very quickly."
Cons: "Total carnage at stansted. No queues. Priority boarding a waste of time and money. Delayed over an hour. The plane turnaround was so quick the toilet hadn't been cleaned. Not hand towels. Blood stained toilet tissues all over the floor. Utterly disgusting."
Cons: "Due to a malfunction on our previous flight's plane which resulted in a 3hr delay, we missed our connection flight on RyanAir. They didn't accommodate us at all and we had to purchase a whole new flight, that departed 10hrs later but couldn't check in for 8 hours to get past security. So we had to just hang out at Athens Airport for 8hrs with all our luggage and minimal services after traveling for 15hrs."
Pros: "Simple online check in; short ride; arrived on time."
Cons: "We waited on line for over 30 min before boarding; no food or beverages were offered and the plane was not equipped for in-flight entertainment."
Cons: "I'm a frequent flyer. This was my first and last flight with Ryanair. It started at the check in desk. The flight cost me 140 euros plus an additional 50 euros because I didn't check in online. I never check in. Ever. For any of my domestic or national flights. Never. after reading my itinerary email it did state to check in online but failed to mention there would be a penalty if not done. What's the point of a ticket agent when they can't give me my purchased ticket? I have to pay you to give me my ticket !!! Ridiculous! Than I get to the gate and I don't have a seat number because the computer said "full" . I get into the plane. It's delayed 2 hours. We are sitting there in our seats and a passenger 2 rows behind me starts screaming because a cockroach flew into her hair (flight attendants did nothing did not Do anything to help her as she was frightened she was about 11 years old). The floors were a mess. Food, wrappers and crumbs all over the floor. Might explain the cockroach. The air was blasting colder than any flight I have ever been on and I fly a lot. Horrible. I wish I never flew with them."
Cons: "As we were not allowed to board flight from Milan to Lourdes as I stated previous we never boarded this flight and after spending day in Milan airport with no assistance had to go to an other airport to find passage. It cost us another fare for 10 persons and no Ryanaire were un helpful. Would not fly again with Ryanare and would certainly not recommend them. None of the phone no we were given worked."
Cons: "Everything. Poor customer service. Fees galore. Fees for picking a seat, 30 euro to print a boarding pass? are you kidding me? over 90 euro to check two bags, seriously?! This airline is a joke and I will never use it again."
Pros: "The head of the stewardesses, she was acting as we were on British Airways first class"
Cons: "Boarding was better than on our onward journey"
Pros: "We got to our destination. Our bags arrived at our destination."
Cons: "1. Despite a delay of over 3 hours, RyanAir provided neither reimbursement nor meal vouchers, despite both being required by EU law. 2. Our boarding passes said, "if your flight is cancelled or delayed for at least two hours, ask at the ticket counter or boarding gate for the text stating your rights, particularly with regard to compensation and assistance." When we learned the flight would be delayed 2+ hours, we followed these directions; the gate agents told us, quite dismissively, that it applied only in case of a 3-hour delay. After wrestling with NAP's snail-pace wifi, I found the relevant text on the RyanAir website and showed it to a gate agent. She said her supervisor had told her that it had to be a delay of 3 hours but that she would check with her. I never heard from her again. It became a moot point when the flight was delayed more than 3 hours. Even then, the gate agents did none of the things the text said they were supposed to do. 3. The gate agents were not RyanAir employees, and it seemed RyanAir did not communicate with them in a helpful way. Independent of this, though, they were also just not competent. Here are some other things that happened: - About 2 hours after the scheduled departure, despite there being no plane at the gate, one of the gate agents started the boarding process. He let about 30-40 people into the holding pen; then a passenger pointed out that the delay had increased another hour. The passengers in the holding pen had to stay in there (one asked to leave to use the restroom and the gate agent told him he would have to surrender his passport while he was gone). - Once the 3-hour delay was posted, they started handing out gate check tags like candy. It was unclear why; perhaps they thought it would soothe the passengers' anger. We did not request one then. When we boarded, my wife asked for one. The gate agent did not even acknowledge her request (despite still having a good number left). - When the plane did arrive, the passengers in the holding pen rushed the door of the jetway. About 15 made it into the jetway (and, I guess, onto the plane) before a gate agent shouted at everyone to stop, ran over, and closed the jetway doors. 4. In other news... passengers were loud and rude. When the delay was first posted, they formed an angry mob around the gate agents and yelled questions that could have been answered by reading the monitor. Half of them had their seat belts off and were standing as soon as the plane landed. The whole row behind me was so loud I couldn't hear the music coming form my earbuds. The guy behind me pushed me as we were getting off the plane because he thought I wasn't going fast enough. Needless to say, no one should ever fly RyanAir."
Cons: "Was told we would be charged 62 euros per checked bag at the gate because they seemed to big even though a flight to Crete on exact same plane the bags fit easily in the overhead compartment just four days earlier. Then even with priority check in the Santorini airport just let everyone do whatever. Why pay for priority if you are just one big group? Terrible experience this time."
Cons: "Service was poor, lack of professionalism"
Cons: "Made me pay $125 for not checking in 24 hours in advance. I'm sorry my hotel didn't have WI-FI so I couldn't log in."
Pros: "Flight was delayed, but got time back when we departure to Rome. Fast and quiet flight !"
Cons: "Attending staff before aboard confuse with wrong info !!! Crazy and adding the lack of Aire condition"
Cons: "Extremely expensive to check your bags. If you prepay and the weight is over, you have to pay an additional 10 Euro for each kilogram over."
Cons: "This airline is FRAUD. They had the nerve to charge us 50 EUROS each because we did not check in before our flight, WHY DO WE NEED TO if we already paid for our flights a month ago. on top of that 60 EUROS for each luggage. Will NEVER fly with this fraud airline ever again."
