Domestic flights only need a valid photo id like drivers license (I carried my passport anyway but wish I'd just left it in the safety of home).

The overhead luggage bins are very small so they required us to check our hand carry luggage. I had to take my rechargable batteries out of my bag and put them in my rucksack. It would be a good idea to pack you hand carry luggage assuming you might need to check it in at the gate.
