Cons: Very disappointed in my first longhaul flight on Norwegian Air. Check in staff at Boston was snarly, the food was very average, and the leg room in economy was the least I've ever experienced on an international flight. I am 5 foot three and I do not understand how anyone even a few inches taller than me would not be in imminent danger of developing a blood clot. Horrible. This is a Dreamliner? I only had nightmares.
Cons: Cancelled on the day with no notification. Offered replacement flight on Norwegian 4 days later. Had to rebook myself with an additional airline at a cost of £500 more

Pros: Price for the flight was nice from NYC - JFK to London for me. Useful to have budget airlines for further distances, if you don't mind missing large chunks of basic amenities. Bathrooms on this flight were more clean and nicer than most flights I've been on too.
Cons: I did not like the extremely long and inefficient way they board onto planes. They say they are starting to board and then we waited over 20 minutes just to hear who was going to board first. Then they ask for rows 18-28, leaving out the rows 29-36 or something like that, which created an extremely long and late boarding process. Once they started boarding people it was a giant mess in the waiting area and of course, once people have their ticket scanned, then you continue to wait in a long line past the kiosk for another 10 minutes. Getting Food, drink, and even the Customs Form was really inefficient -- the person with the forms walked quickly down the aisle and missed me because he was looking at the other side and not checking with each aisle like most flight attendents would. I ended up getting my customs form taking it from the drink cart when it was sticking out.
Cons: Our flight was suppose to be at 5:10pm. It was cancelled around 10-11pm. Thankfully they were considerate of the fact that I had an infant and found accommodation for us until the next morning, but they were telling passengers at 1am to figure out where to stay until the next flight. Oo and although we knew the flight was cancelled the hassle of getting our bags and going through customs again we didn’t get to our hotel until 2:45am. Most of the staff seemed rude , but that could be because their answer for everything was a sharp “I don’t know”. I can only remember two names of the staff members that were great and put me slightly at ease during this horrible ordeal. Sandy and Suzie were kind and tried to give the best answers they could to the passengers. The flight back was on a Privilege aircraft though Norwegian. The flight attendants were amazing and much more leg room than the newer Norwegian aircraft.

Cons: The plan from Philadelphia to Amsterdam didn't have the normal TV screens in the seats ahead of the passengers, which meant we all had one show to watch. :(

Cons: Staff needs be taught better customer service skills. Boarding the plane was carnidge! Flight as delayed slightly but nothing too significant. Although staff called passengers according to "special assistance and upper class" one queue was letting everyone through regards of where in the plane they were sat! When this was pointed out to what appeared to be the person in charge, she more or less shrugged her shoulders and turned her back. In fact she didn't even acknowledge him verbally. This resulted in people unable to be seated quickly as it would make sense to load the rear of the plane first surely?? On the actual flight one cabin crew taught my eye (as you can understand a long haul flight is very boring!!) and I noted that not one time did she say "please or thank you" Surely that's just basic curtesy!! In my opinion, Virgin Atlantic is a lot of hype. Not as good as they think they are.

Cons: The seat pocket in front of me was broken. I didn't want to make a fuss but one would have thought during checks pre-flight that should have been noticed and rectified. I was flying with my family including my 4 yr old and we had lots of toys to keep her entertained but had no where to put them apart from on our seats and tables when we were allowed to have them down.

Cons: Boarding began 25 min after the indicated time. Huge crowd of people (big Airbus 330) was standing in the corridor in some kind of disorganized manner. Priority entrance was open, but then another 20-25 min in the closed waiting area, some kind of hoarder. Only then the mixture of all passengers was let through the sleeve to the plane. Why bother about Priority? Plane arrive in NYC 35 min late. Many transit passengers worried about their connecting flights.

Cons: There was a maintenance issue on departing plane which delayed us a few minutes and when we arrived to layover airport (note we still arrived before the connecting flight was scheduled to leave), the connecting flight had decided to leave early and was gone. Now stranded with standby and all the flights for the next few days are sold out. Beyond angry!

Cons: Walking from one terminal to terminal was quite a problem. when the staff are checking before you pass through the security after you arrived form Lagos to Frankfurt was quite rude. I had a electronic boarding pass on my phone for some reason the wifi from the airport was slow in allowing my electronic boarding pass to work and the staff was impatience with me and rudely asked me to get off the line.

Cons: Didn't like having to climb stairs into plane with two hip replacements and luggage, and no assistance. The seats are tiny (and I'm a small person). The food was mediocre, passengers took their own food on board. The entertainment was pitiful for such a long flight. Very disappointed and probably will avoid Thomas Cook for future trips. Plus, It was very cold with constant cold air blowing on me; they provided no blankets, even though I requested one.
Cons: The flight to Manchester was canceled and I was not even informed until I got to the airport and was told I had no flight and I should rebook my flight with another airline. So my flight back to the USA NEVER happened because I refused to flight with Thomas Cook.

Cons: When I am asked to book my seat, I am usually shown a map which has no reflection on the overall reality. The seat I select is normally allocated to me but if the plane is not full (unusual) I am told there are unavailable seats that would provide more choice.

Captain on plane was good. Crew on plane was ok, more socializaing with each other rather than being proactively helpful.

Pros: Crew was very helpful and friendly, and we were greeted with a bottle of water for the flight. Entertainment is nice with free movies, music and Iceland travel video blogs. Water/soda/coffee offered multiple times, and water additional times.
Cons: Boarding was walk-to-outside-stairs, more an airport versus airline thing, in truth the fresh air was nice, just glad it wasn't pouring rain. Seat comfort was barely okay, the 757 seats were basically in contact with my knees, tough for such a long flight. Their 767's are much better. Didn't like paying 60 GBP (pounds, about $75) for 3 sandwich lunches with 3 alcoholic drinks, IcelandAir could do better.

Cons: Overseas flight seats were tight going and coming, and being that long a flight you feel you are sitting on top of your neighbors. Air quality descends on a long full flight, it became claustrophobic by the end. There was only an option for vegetarian-vegan, but I am not vegan. I won't do that again. My daughter's bag didn't make to SFO, even though we were early to check in.

Pros: On time, best connection for me, earning miles on my program. I booked based on time and cost, didn't even pay attention to what airline.
Cons: No food, plane felt pretty old and not so clean. Smaller seats than the other flights I had with Lufthansa. Otherwise, it was fine. I had a pretty bad earache on that particular flight, so I liked it less than I might have otherwise. Something didn't feel right, pressure wrong or something.
Pros: It was better with the earache, plane felt cleaner, the crew was more friendly and attentive. Didn't feel as dark as the first flight.
Cons: The Star Alliance flights aren't that cheap. Comparable price between Lufthansa, Swiss, SAS and Austrian. Lufthansa gives you food, and has friendly service. SAS gives you coffee and tea. On Austrian and Swiss I didn't get anything. For same price range and same alliance, that is a point I keep in mind. Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights (or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite). Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight. Austrian feels cheaper than the others. That is the main point I didn't like.

Cons: When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !

Pros: The flight I took coming home had two less rows, so I had an extra inch or two of legroom than I've had on some other flights.
Cons: I know it is becoming more common on certain airlines to have to pay for things like extra checked bags, but this airline takes it to the extreme. My single checked bag was $65, there was also a charge for reserving a specific seat (not even the upgraded seats), there was no food or water on a 9 1/2 hour trans-Atlantic flight unless you paid extra for it. After arriving at Orlando, the cargo door of the aircraft would not open meaning bags had to be unloaded 1 at a time through a smaller hatch resulting in a 2 hour delay to get a checked bag. Not impressive for a supposedly new Dreamliner.

Cons: I was quite surprised that no drink or food was offered freely on the flight. All items were for sale at a higher price. This was a flight of over eight hours and to be offered no water was abominable. Preboarding left you in an enclosed room where you were not able to go outside to purchase food or drinks. There was a vending machine but if you didn't have current currency, you couldn't use it.
Pros: Dreamliner was new, clean and very comfortable, plenty of leg room. The meal was excellent including choice of wine. Would definitely fly with Norwegian again.
Cons: The process was not clear as to whether or not we had preordered dinner. Worst part of the trip was waiting for our luggage at Orlando, it took 90 minutes before our luggage appeared. Do not know where the problem originated.
Cons: On an international flight, one would expect at least a meal to be included. But you had to pay, and had to prebook. So without that knowledge I had to overpay for some very basic snacks. Also had to pay to choose a seat and for checking a bag. I've never had to pay for any of this on an international flight before. Tray tables were miserably low too, and I'm not a large person by any means. They hit my lap and left me no room to adjust. Very uncomfortable flight all around.

Cons: There was a technical issue on the plane so they had us get off and wait hoping they could fix the problem. It turned into a 3 hour wait. They covered a meal for us which was good and gave us $50 off our next flight. But I’m not sure I want to book united again. The lady at the service desk was not very patient (which is understandable since a loy of people had to rebook their connecting flights). But I was smiling at her and just asking how to go about changing our connecting flights and she seemed a little bit ready to get rid of me. And the next plane we got on, one of our tv screens didn’t work. And the connecting flight was delayed also because of a technical problem.
