Low price, Iceland stopover, very modern and cool looking airplanes

Low-cost airline! No (free) food and movies on the plain, small legroom and every piece of luggage costs extra, even though it seems that the carry on luggage payment is not strictly enforced. Need to be prepared for that (bring your own movies or a book and buy food at the airport or just don't come hungry :-)

Everything was extra- water, food, baggage. I had to pay twice for my baggage- there and back and it wasn't cheap. Very uncomfortable seats with little leg room. I wasn't able to sleep on my overnight flight.

Nothing is offered for free, not even water. There is not an option to use/buy wifi either. It would be nice to at least have a tv screen that offered some pre-loaded entertainment, but instead you pay for an ipad rental if you want that.

Flight was delayed 12 hours. They didn't offer hotel rooms so we had to sleep on the floor of the airport (hundreds of passengers, including elderly and children). No communication. One person managing multiple delays, so rarely anyone at the desk to answer questions. Appalling.

We had a issue at boarding and nobody could help Nobody is in charge, they use this technique to avoid helping anyone. You go from manager to manager and they claim tht the person who could have helped is not here and you can t reach her on the phone either So they didn t help us! Pathetic technique. After the scandal in Ottawa. I am not surprised this airline has such a bad reputation. I don t recommend it. Also blankets and headsets cost 9 dollars each. Thanks for putting strong AC!!!

I liked the legroom even though we had a regular seat. We sat 2x2 seating and were very pleased. Some staff were nice. The price was a good deal. So it boils down to having mediocre for a bargain or nicer accommodations for more pricey fares. My husband thought it was very good though.

Food was awful. Service for food and drinks took way too long. Why give food 20 minutes before you are giving a beverage? I have always had drink service prior to food. I did not understand this. Breakfast was a piece of "carrot cake" that looked like was picked up from the local jail in Toronto. Really my only complaint. Flight was bumby but not anyone's fault other than Mother Nature. Water in bathroom stopped working halfway through flight. Seats were not comfy as other airlines. My butt got numb somewhere around Greenland.

The customer service folks at Air Canada. They worked very hard to get us on the second flight. Running through the airport with us, pleading with TSA to move along, trying to talk sense to some guy who eventually allowed people to get off a flight, but wouldn't let us on. I guess its easy to make those decisions when he makes the call from some office via a phone and doesn't have to face customers. All other Air Canada employees we worked with were exceptional!!! Kudos to them.

Our flight was delayed 3 hrs from London. Once in Montreal the systems that Air Canada uses to correct the situation are horrible. There was no way we would be able to catch our rescheduled flight in the time it takes to deboard, go through customs, get bags, recheck bags, go through security. We didn't. We missed the next flight too despite the heroic efforts by the staff (excpetion - TSA security. They moved very very slow to the point that they seemed passive aggressive to our situation). This is the second time it has happened. I probably won't fly Air Canada again, if possible.

My traveling partner - Giovanni Medina - was given ill properly prepared food. He ended up getting food poisoning. We had a connecting flight in Montreal to Orlando (our final destination and home), he was suffering during the 2 hour lay over with an ill stomach and then had to suffer 3 more hours on a flight home. He was stopped from being able to go to the bathroom before takeoff because they needed him seated, but he immediately started vomiting right before we took off. He then spent the rest of the ride sick, they allowed him to move to the back in order to use the bathroom rather than the vomit bags, but he was not comfortable at all. He spent the rest of the night after landing in the bathroom continuing to vomit. We chose this airline because of the rave reviews of the food, entertainment, and hospitality of the crew. The latter two were certainly true. We definitely wanted to make sure that you knew of situation because this was a seriously uncomfortable situation for him and we would not want this to happen to anyone else. He had the chicken meal and the meat pastry on the flight.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the flight was uneventful (which is good). Some of the staff went way over and above their function to make up for the chaos.

My mother had booked a dairy-free meal and wheelchair assistance. The meal was booked on the flight to London, but the booking didn't carry through to the return. The wheelchair assistance was provided, but there were only three agents booked to manage 12 wheelchair passengers. They tried their hardest, but we still ended up missing our connecting flight. If the crew and agents hadn't been wonderful, it could have been a stressful trip!

When boarding the plane, they called the zones too quickly. Then there was an Air Canada representative giving bad directions to the passengers as to where to get in line. Then she got annoyed and was disrespectful to the passengers as they were trying to get in line. She needed to give better directions or change the way they called the zones. Air Canada knew the flight to Montreal was delayed when we left London. They changed our reservation to Toronto to a flight that we still couldn't connect with because of timing. It would have been easier if they were more realistic with the timing of the flight and booked us on a later flight to Toronto.

Diminishing space for the human passenger, tight legroom, seats lay back, which is great if you are in one and terrible if you are behind one. And it was hot. Two years in a row. At 30,000 feet, where it's 30 below outside.

Being held up for more than an hour while they tried to figure out if certain passengers were going to board or not; when they decided not to let them on board, then their luggage had to be removed from the flight. LONG DELAY and I missed my connection in Montreal, had to spend the night and had to argue with them to get them o pay for hotel. Ground staff in Montreal were wonderful, especially Antonella, but the whole experience was VERY stressful.

The Montreal airport is a zoo. I hoped it would be better than other places because it's smaller, but it wasn't. And I didn't fill out the correct customs form. The crew said that we should request a form from the USA if we were Americans, so I did. I have filled out that form many times, so I felt fine--until I got into the Customs area of the airport and learned that I needed to fill out a Canadian form too. So I had to do that before picking up my luggage. You would think that an Air Canada crew would know which forms I had to fill out and give them to me or at least ask questions so that I could be prepared when I went into the incredibly complicated maze to go through customs.

Hidden cost of bags. Watching girls being hassled over a extra hand bag or camera bag on an international flight. The lack of food. The price of shit food. No dinner options. Rude staff. Worst airline I have ever used I will make sure nobody gets caught out like I did.

For a low budget airline the seats were quite comfortable. The crew was also friendly and the boarding experience was ok.

The fare price was ok without considering the fact that literally everything from a carry on to a pillow to a soda is at an additional cost. In the end I could have paid a full fare flight from NYC to Belgium that would include carry on bags, food and entertainment for a cheaper price. Not sure whether I'd fly again wow air for long haul flights...

We definitely wanted to make sure that you knew of situation because this was a seriously uncomfortable situation for him and we would not want this to happen to anyone else. The customer service folks at Air Canada. They worked very hard to get us on the second flight. Running through the airport with us, pleading with TSA to move along, trying to talk sense to some guy who eventually allowed people to get off a flight, but wouldn't let us on. I guess its easy to make those decisions when he makes the call from some office via a phone and doesn't have to face customers. All other Air Canada employees we worked with were exceptional!!! Kudos to them.

Our flight was delayed 3 hrs from London. Once in Montreal the systems that Air Canada uses to correct the situation are horrible. There was no way we would be able to catch our rescheduled flight in the time it takes to deboard, go through customs, get bags, recheck bags, go through security. We didn't. We missed the next flight too despite the heroic efforts by the staff (excpetion - TSA security. They moved very very slow to the point that they seemed passive aggressive to our situation). This is the second time it has happened. I probably won't fly Air Canada again, if possible.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the flight was uneventful (which is good). Some of the staff went way over and above their function to make up for the chaos.

My mother had booked a dairy-free meal and wheelchair assistance. The meal was booked on the flight to London, but the booking didn't carry through to the return. The wheelchair assistance was provided, but there were only three agents booked to manage 12 wheelchair passengers. They tried their hardest, but we still ended up missing our connecting flight. If the crew and agents hadn't been wonderful, it could have been a stressful trip!

When boarding the plane, they called the zones too quickly. Then there was an Air Canada representative giving bad directions to the passengers as to where to get in line. Then she got annoyed and was disrespectful to the passengers as they were trying to get in line. She needed to give better directions or change the way they called the zones. Air Canada knew the flight to Montreal was delayed when we left London. They changed our reservation to Toronto to a flight that we still couldn't connect with because of timing. It would have been easier if they were more realistic with the timing of the flight and booked us on a later flight to Toronto.

Flight was very pleasant, not full, on time and seats had electrical outlets and USB ports.

They destroyed my checked luggage and refused to give me an adequate replacement. They also refused to cover for the resulting damages to my items.
