We purchased a Go First Pass for 10 Euros each so we could board first, but everyone was able to board at the same time so we wasted 20 Euros. The flight left ab out 15 minutes late and was not allowed to land at Healthrow so we had to circle Heathrow for about 45 minutes. This caused us to almost miss our flight from Heathrow to Atlanta.

Once the boarding sign went on and all passengers gathered in line, we were left waiting standing up for almost an hour because there was a delay.
The business class layout on this plane is tightly packed and atrocious with no sense of privacy.
Airmalta does not include meals in their flights and neither offers entertainment.

For the amount of money charged, it was ludicrous (actually quite insulting) that they used such an old plane for a prime long haul route. Food was terrible. Entertainment was a joke. Time travelled back to the 90s with a 7 once screen and 3 ridiculous options for a hindi movie. The staff was the only saving grace. They were extremely helpful. I will give this route one more shot with BA - if it stays this way, I reckon we'll fly with some other airline. Lots of others saying the same thing as we were all chatting after getting off the flight.

We boarded fairly quickly and once all boarded we were told the flight will be delayed for 2 hours. They gave us water and access to the cockpit as stated above. Eventually we took off after 2 hours. We waited another 2 hours for food to be served only to find they had run out of everything accept crisps sweet and drinks. Having left the hotel at 8.30 to get to the airport we very hungry and obviously not happy at this situation to say the least. Pringles and a twix didn’t quite do the trick."
