Decent flight. On time departing and arriving. Luggage arrived with us.

Audacious prices for checked luggage. If you pay online prior to check-in €25 per bag If you pay at check in it is €45 per bag. This is downright theft by all the airlines who engage in this very profitable but nefarious activity and really needs to be stopped. First bag should be free/ nominal charge or at least part of the ticket price. (It is like a restaurant charging for cutlery and plates so you can eat . Would that be acceptable??)

Horrible experience with Alitalia. They boarded us on a plane that had a wheel issue, and kept us on the ground for 2 hours before they decided to de-plane us. We then had to wait in a 5+ HOUR LINE to get rerouted (nope, they won't handle these issues online or over the phone, you have to wait in line). And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again.

We then had to wait in a 5+ HOUR LINE to get rerouted (nope, they won't handle these issues online or over the phone, you have to wait in line). And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. Was told no upgrades were available yet only 1 seat in all of business was occupied. Perhaps either know what you're doing or properly share information.

Crew watched as people struggled to find space for carry ons, etc. Instead of helping to speed the process they just stood there staring aimlessly. Super helpful.

The flight was excellent. Crew attentive and pleasant, good amenities--decent meals (special diet preferences observed on 2nd of two flights, but not first). Frequent offers of beverages and water throughout the flight from Munich to EWR, hot towels. Nice! I was not able to choose my seats until check-in, 24 hours before flight time. Of course if I wanted to pay extra (would have amounted to $60 for two flights for each passenger) I could have. Representatives at check in in Athens, were indifferent and not very pleasant.

Aircraft crew was decent.

Seattle to Frankfurt aircraft was the dingiest and most crammed aircraft I have ever used on an international leg. The seats were tiny so much so that some other passengers were not able to fit in! The lighting was gloomy, restroom dirty within the first hour of the flight, no space to keep any magazine or books on the back rest of the seat in front of you, etc. Overall - such a bad experience. Not expected from Lufthansa, especially as I have had great experience with Lufthansa earlier.

Exit row seating has plenty of room

The cabin temperature was unbelievably low, everyone was complaining about how cold it was, rubbing and blowing on our hands. The woman next to me was concerned about being made sick because of prolonged exposure to cold. Then they forced us to buy blankets for 25 euro. Unless I hear that this flight was unique I won’t ever fly level again no matter how discounted the airfare

Premium economy was very comfortable on Iberia. Their advertisements are true. We also got a great fare. Checkin at Madrid was pretty quick and security moved right along.

Getting on the plane was an adventure. Note clear where they wanted groups to go. Food was ok; drinks limited in choice.

The aircraft was spacious and well appointed. The crew MEL to LAX were very friendly and offered food and beverages at regular intervals, and walked the aisles regularly in case the passengers needed anything...

On the LAX to MEL return flight, the crew were very unfriendly and only did the bare minimum, and basically just asked 'chicken or fish" and "what beverage do you want", then almost threw the food and drinks at the passengers. The obviously don't enjoy their job very much.

Seats way too tight. But the worst thing was the two passageners in the row we shared. They were laying on each other and it was inappropriate for the entire flight. He was rubbing her breast and I said something. He seemed to stop. Lots of rubbing and huggin and the man had his legs stretched out man spread style

Walk between connecting flights in Munich was very long (25 minutes) and when we got to the gate for the flight to EWR, there was a very long, and very slow-moving line with only one attendant checking boarding passes for 6 gates. We arrived at the gate and were among the last passengers to board. A last minute additional attendant that was brought on, helped to make the line move a bit faster, but this under-staffed checkpoint added unnecessary stress to our long travel day.

The crew from the ticket agents all the way up were great. The app for iPhone is great.

I paid for 30 minutes of WiFi to download the United app on my iPad. I wanted to watch the movies/tv shows that were available to passengers. The WiFi was spotty and slow so I wasn’t able to load the app. Needless to say I was disappointed. I also was disappointed with the seating. I am an average size person and I felt very cramped in my seat. My shoulders and neck are killing me after a 2 hour flight. I know that I chose the economy seating but I don’t remember the seats being quite so narrow or the leg room being non existent.

KLM switched to Alitalia right at online check in time, which made things very confusing. Even the flight number changed. It would have helped if KLM would have let customers know this in advance.
