Air Canada ground crew where very good and helpful as where all staff
Plane was overly cramped, if you eliminate one set of seats and only had 8 across and less row,
I think you would make great improvements to overall customer satisfaction if the seating was mad alittle more comfortable
Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)
The boarding process and flight was smooth and punctual
We were stuck on the plane for over an hour after we landed in Munich without enough updates on the situation. We waited for the stairs and bus to come then when we got to the terminal our bags did not come and I had to get my baggage shipped. This was very inconvenient and there was not any notification for the baggage delay.
The crew was excellent. Very attentive and witty. One flight attendant in particular went out of her way to take my 4 year for a walk to get snacks to give her something else to do. We also boarded the plane first as we had young kids which gave us ample time to settle our carry-on luggage and the kids before the rush of other travelers.
Not enough legroom in coach for families dealing with young kids where these kids invariably want to be in your lap and then ppl in front of you want to recline.....it is just uncomfortable. The other thing is that my trip to Barbados did not have the in seat TV and try as I might to download the plug in to my Surface so that I could watch from their Westjet connect it would not work so that made it difficult to help with passing the time with my kids. I am also a strong advocate for a decent meal on any flight more than 3 hours. I should not have to purchase meals after spending all that money on a plane ticket.

No seatback screens. Hire charge for iPads to access entertainment. Can use own iPad but need Air Canada app to make full use of entertainment (which would have been useful information to communicate BEFORE the flight, since there is no way to download app once on board!).
Flight out of Newark delayed so we were going to miss the connection. We were rebooked to fly via London but we lost 6 hours in Rome.
Air Canada attendant at Newark said the flight was always delayed and passengers regularly needed to be rebooked. You should recommend air Canada cancels selling this itinerary or bringing the Newark flight forward to de risk any delays

Why do flights always serve chocolate biscuits, chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake? Strawberries,carrots and humous, grapes, olives, would make a nice alternative for example.
Hot food boring, tasteless
The crew woman that assist us in Barcelona Airport counters for the check-in was really rude asking very personal question that I still don't understand why and questioning our passports without any reason. My partner and I felt very uncomfortable and that was a totally unnecessary situation.
After that everything was totally great during the flight.
I flew with multiple international airlines this summer and KLM was by far the best. The crew of KLM were exceptionally attentive, polite, and helpful. The meals were by far the most enjoyable of my airplane travel meals; and I learned that KLM does not charge for it's drinks on international flights, unlike most other international airlines that I traveled with this summer. In a sentence, flying with KLM was a very pleasant experience and I will recommend this airlines to others.
If I were going to list any negatives, I would say that the little travel pillow that was given to the passengers was so thin that it was practically useless, but I brought my own with me, so I was none the less comfortable.
The Amsterdam airport is super disorganized, with rude employees great at making excuses for their incompetence.
The boarding crew really struggled to organized the boarding and wouldn't really care about people's status. We had to take a bus to the airplane, and even though both plane's entrances were open, they sent everybody to the front entrance.
The comfort of the plane was horrendous, with seats over 20 years old and their business class was the same as the coach, but with no one sitting in the middle (can you get any lower than this?)
The flight attendant woke me up to shove a food tray that I didn't want.
We had to wait over 45 minutes after the plane landing to start seeing some luggage show up on the conveyor bell.
The overall flight experience make southwest look like a luxury airline. This was my first and last time flying on KLM.
