Pros: "Flight crew was quick to provide food and drinks but quality of the food was not as good as Emirates."
Cons: "-carry-on did not fit on center overhead compartment unless I put it side ways, which then takes up space for other passengers. Same carry-on suitcase fit nicely on Emirates airplanes. Basically, carry-on overhead compartments have been made smaller on purpose or by engineering error, and this makes me not want to fly Qatar airlines again. Less food options. I went to the Gally and they only had kitkat bars for food. Emirates offer fruit, sandwiches, and many choices at ALL TIMES of the flight for economy class."
Cons: "Boarding at JFK very disorganized. Poor system. No vetting of wheel chair users many fakers."

Cons: "no one came to help even after asking for assistance"

Pros: "Awesome staff, super delicious food. Missed the flight, but airlines covered stay in Hotel in Doha. So we hot extra vacation day In Qatar with nice food and stay in a country we have never been"
Cons: "We have missed connecting flight from Doha to Oslo because of bad weather and had to stay in Doha, Qatar for 16hours. But airline took care of all passengers, organized 5*hotel in heart of Doha with luxurious food in the hotel restaurant"
Pros: "High quality gluten free meals (best I've had on Qatar Airways)."
Cons: "Seating needs to be more spacious."
Pros: "Flight was good. Cabin crew very good. Food good."
Cons: "Qatar Airways check in at Heathrow was a dis-organised shambles. Arrival at Qatar Airport passport control was even worse at 12.45 am. Long queues, very slow to move, police checking passports unbelievably slowly. Retina scanners should speed up the process. Why then take 5 minutes to check each passport? Poor advert for Qatar, after nearly an hour of queuing I would think most passengers wished they had gone somewhere else."
Pros: "Everyone on board was pleasantly and helpful and that goes a long way."
Pros: "The timing was spot on and I had no major issues. The staff was great. They showed that they truly value customer service and were patient"

Pros: "When I missed my connection in Dohar, I was put up in an excellent hotel with all expenses paid and great food."
Cons: "When I arrived late in Doha because my flight from Heathrow was delayed, it was difficult to find help when I was trying to rush to make it in time for my connecting flight to Haneda."
Pros: "the crew, the comfort, the entertainment."
Cons: "My first time on Qatar, I'd heard only good things. The food was surprisingly bad, tasteless or bad tasting. Sure I'd take Qatar over most other airlines, but it seems maybe there are cutting corners on their food."
Cons: "1-one hour delay in departure. Although pilot tries his best to reduce the delay time but still lost our connection flight. it is known that the whole operation is complex but still believe that effective cooperation by flight crew, ground personnel and others could result in a better outcome. the hotel chosen by the office at airport was not satisfactory. Qatar Airways customers deserve better treatment."
Pros: "everything was great. huge seats, large legroom."
Pros: "The crew, the food overall experience was excellent. Special thanks to two crew members Mohammad and the other crew she was from India. I got her name unfortunately lost the paper with her name. Her name stars with G or C I think.Thank you for the excellent service."

Cons: "Food and beverage"
Cons: "Over 2 hours late, and this flight has been late 6 of the last 7 days"
Pros: "There wasn’t anything to highlight as good. On this trip except LHR was organized and clean. The boarding was a free for all after the elderly and young had been boarded footstep as they should."
Cons: "The ground staff were rude and officious"
Pros: "Lufthansa is always reliable. Flight was fine. The staff were kind and efficient in their jobs."
Cons: "There is no inflight entertainment on these flight but I brought my own."
Cons: "I missed my connecting flight because my flight was late. I had to get to my destination for a wedding."
Pros: "Plane was super nice and new and crew was great!"
Pros: "The Munich airport presented a startling contrast to heathrow! Both the flight from London and from Munich were very nice. I was so tired that I am sure I missed a lot."
Cons: "More varieties of whisky on board"
Pros: "None of the above. I actually liked nothing about this trip. Took off at London in time for Frankfurt, arrived early, but missed the connection to Tel Aviv. So I had to be routed to Munich to catch a 10:30 pm flight, which arrives at 3 am Sunday. So I wasted the entire day, starved, exhausted."
Cons: "Proper connection time. I lost the entire day, and now have to get a cab for $100 instead of my colleague meeting me. 3 am is impossible. And I am still not in Tel Aviv."
Pros: "The crew were super friendly. There was plenty of space and I slept for a few hours"
Pros: "on time."
Cons: "They made me weigh my carry on, but virtually no one else, despite the fact that my bag was the same size as most and smaller that others! I honestly felt like one of the gate agents were picking on me."
Cons: "a bit late"
Pros: "Staff were kind and courteous."
Cons: "Late departure and uncomfortable seats."
Cons: "There was not enough room for all the people’s cabin size luggage. They allowed people to get on board with big coats once they’re in the plain they take off the coats and place them up. Those coats take the same space as a small suitcase. I asked the fly attendants for assistance and they didn’t even pretend to care about the situation. I had to put my luggage under the seat for the entire flight, which ended up reducing the very reduced legroom. What this airline is trying to do is; to charge passengers twice for cabin size luggage. This has been my worst experiences with airlines. Lufthansa is definitely an airline to avoid."
Pros: "Flight crew made up time to arrive on time despite late arrival. They are pretty amazing - they got a plane hundreds of miles in the same time it took the ground crew to get my bag from the plane to the baggage claim."
Cons: "Frankfurt is just an awful airport. Too many landings and not enough infrastructure. Also tired of planes having to park thousands of yards from the terminal. The time to get the bag is as long as the flight. Each about 55 minutes. There is very little about German efficiency here."
Pros: "The food out of everything"
Cons: "Customer service , the air craft , the blankets"
Pros: "The crew's efficiency and friendliness"
Cons: "Having to fly to Germany to come to San Diego"
Cons: "Online check-in did not work. When I checked in at the airport, I received only a middle seat."
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Almost everything"
Pros: "Once again, the in-flight crew was excellent. The flight was good, but no entertainment is provided."
Cons: "Another late take off, probably because the incoming connections were late. So it was good that the airline delayed the connecting flights. However, this leg of the trip was so late that I barely made it to third leg of the trip. A huge problem is that each of these international airports require that you go through the security check again. For that reason, connecting legs of trips through these airports should not be scheduled so close together. Heathrow is the worst, with security staff that, at best, don’t care that you have a close connection to make and just ignore your pleas to speed up the process, and at worst, are just plain rude."
Pros: "Only an hour and a half but perfect service and even a nice meal. Because of the delay there were a lot of questions to the crew but they managed to keep travelers calm and happy."
Cons: "Flight was delayed but that had nothing to with the crew and the service."
Pros: "Comfortable seats, good legroom."
Cons: "Slight delay."
Pros: "Made up most of the time. Latrobe leaving due to queue."
Cons: "That I did not know in advance there was a snack. Would have odered vegan as it was had nothing."
Cons: "At the gates they said that nobody could bring more than one piece of carry-on items Dash completely catching Everyone by surprise. They took a backpack from me, and it has now been lost."
Cons: "No bridge in Frankfurt - long taxi and then 15 minute bus ride to the terminal; had to go through security again; mad dash to catch connecting flight (which also had the 15 minute drive to the plane - again, no gate in the terminal! Shambles!"
Cons: "They cancelled my flight"
Cons: "No body helped me. My first flight got delayed and missed my connecting flight. People were rude and showed that they didn’t care. I had to wait 4 hours for the next flight. I received little compensation"
Pros: "The counter staff in Heathrow was great"
Pros: "Everything was perfect ... pilots are so good and professional..!!)"
Cons: "The flight"
Pros: "On time and good service"
Pros: "Was great,on time,no issues, they send me the flight connection gate on my email.*****"
Pros: "Good attitude"
Cons: "The flight took off 2 hours late they must have known it was going to be that late, yet they lied saying that it was on time, forcing you to come to the airport early, then when you get to the airport they did the - oh its going to be 20 minutes late, no 40, no 1.5 hours late, heck it will be 2 hours late etc. Micro-tight seat pitch - I could barely sit in the seats."
Pros: "After the delay I was given a spot on the direct flight so I didn't have to deal with the complications of the connecting flight. The staff was nice and helpful."
Pros: "Fast and efficient boarding"
Pros: "Easy check-in and helpful staff. I would absolutely fly with Lufthansa again"
Pros: "It was good the checking desk person was polite and done her best to put get me on to British Airways flight to get to my destination on the same day."
Cons: "But we waited tilll 12.30pm still flight took off at 14.00 and arrive in Dubai at 23.50pm instead of 22.30pm person went home who suppose to pick me up. I got to the place I was staying at 01.39am which was very uncomfortable. I will never fly again with Lufthansa Airline it use to like British Airways but definitely they have lost the customer touch."
Cons: "The plane lands a considerable distance from the airport, you walk across the tarmac in the rain to a bus, and then the bus ride is almost 15 minutes. I expect Lufthansa to have a better berth at Frankfurt."
Cons: "Flight was 30 min delayed . When we landed, the jetway was someone mispositioned and it took even longer to get us off the plane - nearly 1 hour late. Missed my dinner appointment as a result and generally bad start to my trip to Munich . Very disappointed ."
Pros: "Nie odbyl size powodu opuznienia samolotu z Chicago do Londynu"
Pros: "Was informed that boarding would be delayed but began within minutes. Arriva time was spot on"
Cons: "Most cramped seat I've ever sat in. Couldn't even sit because my knees hit the seat in front, before my but was in the chair."
Pros: "Even on such a short flight I got a sandwich. It was a salmon sandwich which I never had on any other flights. They usually serve cheese or ham or chicken in the Middle East. It was nice to have something different and nutritious."
Pros: "Priority boarding with small kids"
Cons: "In London I was required to ask fro this priority boarding with kids if not asked I would be queuing with small kids for 15 minutes.. (whilst In Frankfurt we have been invited to be boarded as first ones without asking for it.)"
Pros: "Heathrow had a lot to offer between flights. Our gate was in the middle of everything."
Cons: "We were late boarding, which left very little time to connect with my next flight in Frankfurt."
Pros: "On time, nice and professional personnel, kids-friendly, tasty & free food & drinks. Great airlines every time!"
Pros: "Nothing. Iberia wouldn’t let me on the plane."
Cons: "Iberia could have checked us in and if we had been unable to get on that particular flight could have put us on a different flight instead of just telling us we were out of $360 and we would have to pay full price for a new ticket."
Pros: "Crew was nice and reliable."
Cons: "Beverages should be complimentary."
Pros: "Finally arriving in Spain."
Cons: "The seats are extremely small cramped and I had to sit with my legs in the aisle. The flight attendants didn’t care about seat assignments so they put people wherever they wanted, causing issues when those people were in others seats. No in flight entertainment (zero stars). No complimentary snacks; had to pay for everything. Decent selection of food. The entry attendants were inconsistent with hand luggage size and took my correctly size soft bag to check but allowed larger hard luggage on the plane."
Pros: "Quick boarding"
Cons: "The lack of water offers during the flight"
Pros: "They made up time on the flight"
Cons: "This was already a makeup flight and it wasn’t efficient enough to help me"
Cons: "See above."
Pros: "Left on time."
Cons: "Plane is extremely old and should be put to sleep. Business class on this plane means younger an empty middle seat and narrow standard seats. Not worth it for business, check airplane model before you book."
Pros: "More space since there wasn't people"
Cons: "Paying for food"
Pros: "Price to fly on this airline is very reasonable and affordable. I would fly on on this airline just for that reason alone."
Cons: "Seats are VERY small and squished together."
Cons: "There were delays at Heathrow due to fog. Rather then backing up all planes by an hour or so, BA gave our plane away. We experienced a 6 plus hour delay. So after flying for nine hours from the U.S. overnight to London, we had to sit around the airport, while watching other planes take off on time. We got in so late to Madrid that our hotel room that we reserved months earlier was given away. After being awake for over 24 hours we had to walk around Madrid at 11:00 pm at night, looking for someplace to lay our weary heads."
Cons: "the employees at the airport were rude (flight attendants were great) & the airline changed our gate twice in the 20 minutes before the flight. everyone on the connection in from London had to run to the new gate, only to have to wait in line for a bus. completely ridiculous."
Pros: "The captain and the entire crew handled an accident very professionally. Seats in economy class were much more comfortable than the ones on my previous, rotten BA52 flight."
Cons: "We get to the runway, wait 10 minutes and go back to the terminal. The captain announces an engine failure. Maintenance inspects the leaking engine, do something and declare it fixed. 2 hours delay and my nerves a bit shaken during take off. We arrived safely."
Pros: "The discomfort of the cramped seating overshadows everything"
Cons: "This was the 3rd time I had to take Iberia coach in Europe in 4 week. As horrible as the first 2 times. The rows are too close to each other. I can not sit straight. My knees hit the seat in front of me. I was not the only one measuring more than 6 feet. Other men equally were obliged to sit sort of diagonally. It a real torture. Horrible. Never again."
Cons: "Flight was ontime and food was good"
Pros: "No vegetarian option available"
Pros: "The flight has enough leg room considering I'm 6ft. The entertainment was world class. The flight was smooth."
Cons: "The flight attendant was slightly rude. The food was not so good. Every meal they had, had cheese in it."
Pros: "a non event flight - meal was ok, flight attendants helpful"
Cons: "airport in london - waited for hours to find which gate to used - sent us across to the wrong side and then only 40 minutest to board and we were running to take underground rail back to other side and find correct gate."
Pros: "A really big and nice dinner, followed by bloody mary. An ice cream was served some hours later, followed by a nice breakfast sandwich and cake before landing. All this on an evening flight from London, ending in NYC before midnight."
Cons: "An option to cover up all the screens and lights..Blue light especially prevent sleep. I was half asleep on the subway home."
Pros: "The seat was comfortable."
Cons: "All snacks and beverages appeared to be at cost. No in-flight entertainment. My traveling companion's luggage was never delivered to our destination and really made for a less enjoyable trip (since she had to purchase everything anew, as well as having to repeatedly contact the airline to check on the bag - receiving multiple inaccurate stories as to what happened). It makes me far less likely to fly or recommend this airline again. Luggage tracking should be a very simple process."
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Despite seeing a crew bring 3 pieces of luggage to the plane, since the cargo was closed they turned around and 1 of those was my luggage which arrived a day later. The flight was late departing and then required to circle the airport and then the luggage did not make it."
Pros: "Wide bodied aircraft"
Cons: "No free drinks or snacks"
Pros: "Crew were really nice and polite"
Cons: "No entertainment, I can't believe how close the seats are to each other. I'm not a very tall person and my knees were hitting the front seat constantly (and the kness of the passenger seating behind me of course)"
Pros: "It got me there"
Cons: "Seats were so tight that you had to fold yourself into the rows and your knees were hitting the seat back in front of you. They charged for any food OR drink - NO free beverage service at all."
Pros: "The british flight to Madrid was overall very good"
Cons: "Also delayed"
Cons: "Lost luggage, hot plane, charged for water"
Cons: "No space between seats, myknees barely fit. Fortunately no one was next to me. No complimentary drinks at all, not even water"
Pros: "Hat it was a quick flight."
Cons: "No entertainment, no free beverages or snacks, crushing legroom."
Cons: "4 hours too late"
Cons: "Cramped by ok"
Pros: "Quick pickup of baggage."
Pros: "Great space between seats, and very nice staff"
Pros: "Good service"
Pros: "The crew was great."
Cons: "Very unpleasant seating. For some reason, the armrests do not raise all the way, making it impossible to get comfortable and cuddle with your spouse."
Pros: "Seats were surprisingly good, even though we could only get two center seats. There were no available business class seats, but now I'm glad I saved the expense as the economy seating was quite comfortable. They took good care of us with food and comfort, and the time passes with plenty of movies to watch."
Cons: "Can't help it, but Heathrow is just so big, and requires extensive walking, bussing from one terminal to another, then underground trains, and waiting at the C gates which don't offer the range of restaurants that the main terminal does. But we had 2 1/2 hours to make the connection and there was plenty of time with baggage checked through."
Pros: "Great selection of movies and the food wasn't too bad."
Cons: "The guy in the same row as me took off his shoes and used the remaining seats between us as a bed. I thought it was rude and disgusting and showed a lack of spacial awareness. Blankets were not very soft. Also, one of the flight attendants was really struggling to push any of the trolleys, running into the arm rests of the seat."
Pros: "Quick flight and crew was nice."
Cons: "Connecting flight still had security checked that almost made us late and the airline boarded fhe plane early since the flight was not full. Food was not served and entertainment was not available."
Pros: "In flight entertainment"
Pros: "Nothing. No luggage. Trip ruined and still getting run around in day 3. Poor poor customer service or customer care. Never fly them again."
Cons: "I didnt like that it was tight. People in front of me laying down on there sit and I couldnt even reach my backpack drom under the seat or move much. Flight shaky and landing verh bumpy on was back to Denver"
Cons: "Baggage lost."
Pros: "Nice plane, good entertainment"
Cons: "We never had the option to reserve seats. Not sure if this was because we booked thru kayak or if it was the airline but this was a long flight and I would have paid(although not happily) to get to sit next to my husband. As it was, we both got center seats separated on the plane. Very inconvenient and very uncomfortable."
Pros: "1. Crew and food 2. Getting rebate of $118 for not getting the outward pre-booked seats. 3. When the plane doors closed on our return trip, we asked the crew about the empty pre-booked seats and they allowed us to move. We really should get a rebate for this leg since we were put in the wrong seats."
Cons: "1. Paying $236 for pre-booked seats and not getting them 2. Trays which collapse when drinks put on them and having to eat on a tray when plane is hitting turbulence. 3. Seat light not working 4. Horrible Boarding process in Heathrow and overcrowded waiting area in both Manchester and Heathrow terminals. 5. Being assigned other seats on return trip despite calling 2 weeks before to confirm we had the pre-booked seats. 6. Phone calls prior to check in and talks at check in could not resolve the seat issues. One excuse at check in was poor exchange of data between Iberia and BA. but we booked the advanced seating via BA website."
Pros: "Loved the entertainment. Lots of choice. Food was good and the crew were very friendly"
Cons: "Reduced leg room"
Pros: "Good flight, on time everything went as expected."
Cons: "The TV/Entertainment system has no sound in all our row 24CDE & F. flight attendants rebooted them but it did not work. Seems like they were not surprised and this happens frequently."
Pros: "Excellent service from flight crew (polite, helpful, enthusiastic, friendly), descent legroom, seat comfort was descent, clean well maintained restrooms."
Cons: "Antiquated aircraft, too little space between seats (side-to-side), poor image quality on screen of entertainment system (too old), lack of individual air nozzles, weak air-conditioning system (flight was full and aircraft was too warm throughout flight)."
Pros: "Although flight delayed 3 hrs, crew kept us informed and offered food vouchers during the wait."
Pros: "Standard, short connecting flight out of a large airport."
Cons: "Slightly delayed, but they did keep us updated."
Pros: "Good free entertainment options and friendly staff."
Cons: "Uncomfortable, tight seating."
Pros: "Good entertainment options of HBO series!"
Cons: "We did not have an option to upgrade as there was not a British Airways representative at the desk prior to boarding. After knowing that it was not a full flight, having the option to upgrade would have made the flight experience bearable."
Pros: "Crew was outstanding. Flight was early, which is nice. Nice to have food service, but better choices could have been offered."
Cons: "The plane is old and needs to be updated with WI FI and USB ports."
Cons: "Worst airline"
Cons: "1 hour late boarding, 20 min. Waiting outside in cold to get into the airplane and then 30 min. Circling around the city before landing"
Pros: "Crew was very nice!"
Cons: "Amount of carry on bags were unclear and we got charged 50£ for having a second bag. This was very confusing and frustrating as we boarded. We were told it was for space but there was plenty of room for luggage."
Pros: "Ryan sir is the worst airlines I traveled with we cant check in via their website. Third website never work for many people on July 31 for check in . They say $10 for small check in bagged but 25 $ for each at airport . We tried hard to check in online but can’t able to add the bagge online . Worst"
Cons: "Too claustrophobic, stood in the rain and wind on the tarmac due to loading delay. Not for me, first and last time with Ryan."
Pros: "I like the aircraft"
Cons: "The change inside the plane. My seats was changed several times."
Cons: "Plane was late as most Ryanair flights in the afternoon are expected to be."
Cons: "Over 2 hour delay, and they lost my checked bag."
Pros: "The staff was good and attentive even under difficult circumstances."
Cons: "I took two flights today. Both were late. Ryanair also lost my baggage."
Pros: "It is a cheap flight. I don’t espect first class. The ride was smooth, the flight was cheap, the cabin crew were friendly and it wasn’t horrendously dirty."
Cons: "I had to print the boarding pass on my own, cannot get it at the airport. Also the fact that they delay in telling you where the gate is and then it is a 10 minutes stride to get there."
Cons: "We had to wait 2 hours on board + 1 hour 40mn in the airport !"
Cons: "I couldn’t get the flight because I couldn’t find a good services from their representatives in airport. I went to 4 desks with no helpful. So, I change this airline to Easyjet. I’ll never use Ryanair."
Pros: "The staff is rude."
Cons: "Never heard of having to keep windowns open the entire flight."
Cons: "Incredibly disorganized queue, 'Priority boarding' was ignored for everyone who purchased, then a nearly 2hr delay in a hot airplane."
Pros: "The crew was friendly and helpful."
Cons: "The flight was delayed and even the crew seemed to be getting no information about it. Ryanair did nothing to compensate their passengers for a 2 hour delay."
Pros: "Staffs are very helpful."
Cons: "Should get some drink at least some water."
Cons: "A small delay but not the airline’s fault"
Pros: "The plane started, landed and took me where I wanted to go. That's the good news."
Cons: "The pricing structure is highly opaque and they nickel and dime you in every possible way. If you don't print out your boarding card, if you don't check in online… you can't make it up they charge you when you have a hiccup. It's disgraceful and shameless. You discover these extra fees along the way because they don't mention this up front and in bold letters—for a good reason."
Cons: "Horrible boarding. Horrible seats. Garbage sandwiches for a fee. Zero entertainment. Not even a seat pocket. Toilet was disgusting, no wipers. Hyper stressed. Glad it's over, baby! Never ever, again."
Pros: "Cheap cheap cheap!"
Cons: "I find it incredibly ridiculous that a flight is half full and I’m deliberately seated away from my husband just so Ryan Air can make an extra £4 per seat. I get that they want to make money but that’s pushing it too far. I sat next to someone who was also traveling with someone else. That lady’s companion came back and told her the seat next to her was empty. By then everyone was already settled in. Is it really worth the £8 for two people? I’m sorry but that’s just petty."
Pros: "The crew and the pilots were very nice!!"
Cons: "The sitting politics, and the selling system."
Pros: "All is well"
Cons: "More destination"
Pros: "The pilot was friendly."
Cons: "The comfort was terrible. And moreso for people with back issues. Overall, the comfort affected the whole flight."
Pros: "Normal simple RyanAir flight, as long as one does not eat food or buy a glass of wine at £8each."
Cons: "Priority on-boarding was fine to start with, until the later passengers started bringing on too much hand luggage and long coats stuffed with clothes, and stuff. Cabin Staff just wanted to get away as fast as and gave up preventing these degenerate snowflake freeloaders from stuffing their bits and pieces in several storage cabins along the cabin. Of course these people went to all of the lockers in turn and rifled through them as their stuff was spread across several lockers. Luckily my bag, with it’s many padlocks, was completely locked down, and it survived an attempt to open it. My partner was not so lucky, however. Clearly the cabin staff are under pressure to get moving and keep the passengers happy. But it is obvious to m that these ‘later’ passengers are working a scam to steal from other passengers. RyanAir need to make these argumentative over packers, put their stuff in the hold, without question or get off. Off-boarding was also a joke, the priority boarders at the front of the plane that Paid the most, had to get on a bus to the terminal that was the last to move...so forcing a lengthy queue at passport control, it took over an hour to get into the terminal. As the less exoerienced traveller faffled about with their documents, multiple children, and no queueing system. It was chaos on the Spanish side. RyanAir would avoid the delays by having better trained assertive staff, and a little better administration on the ground to ensure that priority boarders get what they paid for. Otherwise I might as well fly SwissAir, or Lufthansa, which are only a 15% price point away. [after seat booking and other RyanAir add on costs.] Passenger===Disappointed [and literally was robbed in flight.]"
Pros: "Good legroom"
Cons: "No pockets in seats Crew training appears inadequate"
Pros: "The crew was very friendly."
Cons: "Not all food was available and toilet flushing was not working"
Pros: "I really appreciated receiving one on one attention to check in on my health status as well as some sparkling water to settle my stomach, and having a bag for nausea. They were incredibly adept at dealing with a potentially sick passenger, and got me a wheelchair to depart the plane."
Pros: "Fare was reasonable."
Cons: "Boarding process was slow and tedious. Asked for boarding pass by gate agent and flight attendant. Created unnecessary delay getting everyone seated."
Pros: "I liked nothing about this flight."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact that I was never allowed to board this plane and I ended up having to book a hotel for a night and then fly out the next day on an Air Lingus flight. As I found out later, Ryanair did send me an email saying that I would need to print out my boarding pass early. However, I had already left the U.S. and never saw that email. Then when I arrived at the airport, I was told that I would have to go to customer service in order to obtain a boarding pass. Then the line was so long that I could never obtain a boarding pass in time. No one was willing to help me even though there were plenty of employees standing around doing nothing. So I ended up buying three Ryanair tickets that were worthless. I will never fly Ryanair again and I would recommend that no Americans ever fly on that airline."
Pros: "The steward was friendly."
Cons: "Low fare is an illusion. They forced customers to check in carryons that would have been qualified as carryon by other airlines. Any checked in bag cost $35 and there is absolutely no free check in bags. We ended up check in 3 bags for two of us. Service is super slow. In addition, if you are traveling to London, the airport they use is STN which is at least 1 and half hours from the City. There is no Uber available from that airport. Tax cost is $120+. As you can see, no matter how cheap the ticket might seem, it ends up to be very costly, no matter you are talking about money and time. Flight attendant was friendly but the Rome CIA airport service was horrible (that's where they fly out from). You first have to stay in a long slow line to get the check in bag invoice, take it to a payment counter where 3 out of 4 service people were on there phone texting while there is another long and slow line of travelers are waiting to make payment. We almost missed our flight despite the fact we got there 3 hours earlier."
Cons: "Everything. Poor customer service. Fees galore. Fees for picking a seat, 30 euro to print a boarding pass? are you kidding me? over 90 euro to check two bags, seriously?! This airline is a joke and I will never use it again."
Pros: "Cheap fares and the flight was punctual."
Cons: "The flight was extremely uncomfortable. The seats were terribly cramped and did not even recline. The food and drink options were poor."
Pros: "Nothing. Utterly horrible experience."
Cons: "I checked in two days in advance, had to pay for the check-in and baggage fee. There was no link sent to me to print out my boarding pass When we got to Stansted, there were no working kiosks. We went to the check-in desk, where apparently many people were having the same problem we were. My wife and I were told by a very rude Ryanair employee we hadn't checked in. I showed the woman my email receipt and she refused to honor it. We are challenging the charge on our credit card. She lectured us on showing up to the airport two hours in advance. We told her we had, but had been in line for 50 minutes. My wife paid 50 pounds each to check us in, even then the security set up was... labyrinthine. And mind you, I say that knowing full well how long an airport security line can be. When we got to the point where we were supposed to hand our boarding passes over to be scanned and verified, mine wouldn't work. I waited there while the security officer called the desk we'd just come from to verify I was allowed to fly. Mind you, we were being told the gate was about to close, so time was precious. After getting through that and security, we encountered another problem. If you don't know, Stansted airport is actually a mall with an airport somewhere inside. We ran through a long, snaking corridor of shops, following signs saying "all gates." It was an absurdly long run. I don't think I've seen any other airport laid out so poorly, most have shops mixed in with gates, but not Stansted. The gates are all at the end of this silly commercial strip. But not really, you see... when we got to the end, there were no gates, but trams to another terminal. We boarded the tram, got to our terminal and ran even faster to make our flight. Luckily, Ryanair is so disgustingly disorganized that the flight was delayed. Amazingly that which caused us so much stress ended up saving us. I will never fly on this pathetic, god-forsaken airline again. It is a scam designed to filch people who are in a desperate position out of money. Also, I would advise anyone to stay away from Stansted airport. Seriously, I've flown extensively in the Americas and have encountered some pretty chaotic facilities, but Stansted was utterly soviet in its disorganization. I'd rather wait for a bus at New York City's Port Authority bus station, navigating vomiting hobos, than deal with Ryanair, or Stansted airport, ever again."
Cons: "They double-charged me for a minor mistake when I changed my flight. Although I immediately corrected my error they charged me an additional $110. Outrageous!"
Pros: "it was on time mostly, affordable, and allowed two carry on bags."
Cons: "the forced printing of my boarding pass which I didnt have overseas and couldn't use the app forcing my friend to print it out at work."
Cons: "They never gave me a gate number and we ended up going to the wrong gate and missing our flight... We even asked for one and said it was our responsibility... Also we were charged 90 dollars for not registering online 2 days in advanced"
Cons: "The whole experience. Everyone we interacted with was just not nice or appreciative."
Pros: "The in-flight staff was friendly"
Cons: "The boarding process was incredibly disorganized, with no rhyme or reason for why we were waiting in line after line after line without getting close to boarding the plane. The flight was delayed so we missed our takeoff time, and had to sit on the tarmac for an additional hour and a half until we could get another time. There were very few updates given, and people had to ask flight attendants for updates since no one knew what was going on (even the flight attendants didn't know). We weren't provided any snacks or drinks (not even water) and were told we couldn't even purchase water from them because they weren't allowed to sell anything until we were in the air. When we arrived in Edinburgh, we had to wait for a gate to be available because we were so late, and then had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for grounds crew (which ended up being one woman) before we could get off the plane."
Pros: "The flight was short."
Cons: "This is our long awaited honeymoon. We have traveled and checked in to over 8 flights on this trip all across Europe. But with Ryan air, for some reason, I checked in for the flight but it did not accept on RyanAir side for some reason. I knew I would need to pay for excess luggage (not a surprise. I was expecting it) but then I paid to get up front seats with priority boarding. I had to enter in all the passport info, select seats and pay immediately.(figuring this is checking in, since it was all in the checking in section of he website) So all together a flight was originally $100, turned into a flight that cost me well over $300. Then at the airport, they told me I never checked in. I was charged £90 just to check in!!! Then on top of it I had the counter clerk call me a "bloody wanker" and asking if I have" ever checked into a flight before". He continued to berate me and insult my intelligence. When I asked to see a manager because at this point in only had 20 minutes to get to the boarding gate, he threw a fit and said I need to move out of the way or else he will not even check if the manager is available. The manager and the second clerk who helped is were very nice about things. Surprise fees and not even a small amount of compassion for 2 people who are on their honeymoon, insults, and paying more to go from London to Dublin than to go from Dublin to Manila (the next stop) is absurd!!! I will never fly RyanAir again and will do everything in my power to make sure no one I know will fly with them. Miserable."
Cons: "This is by far one of the worst companies I've ever used. They upcharge you for anything they can. Our flight went from cheap to expensive as hell really quickly. Extremely unorganized with awful pricing models. You would think in modern times that airlines like this would adopt new business paradigms. Their website was awful and out of date, they charge for seat selection, they charged an extra $65 per ticket for not checking in 2 hours before, check in bags were expensive and in airport services were crowded and extremely unorganized. If you can fly a different airline besides Ryanair I would suggest doing it. I would rather take a boat to my destination."
Cons: "They closed online check in 2 hours before departure. You can only check in at counter with 45 pounds fee!"
Pros: "More legroom than the major airlines give, comfortable seats, good price."
Cons: "The boarding process was confusing, a little chaotic, very little info given to passengers, none about why we were waiting."
Pros: "We were delayed 3.5 hours. Nearly two hours of that was spent on the runway with the motors turned off, in a completely full plane in the middle of summer. It was one of the most uncomfortable travel experiences I have ever had."
Cons: "Ryanair goal is for you to do something wrong so they can charge you. They make you wait in line at front check in so you can do a passport check if you are from the US. Other discount EU airlines like EasyJet just do it at the gate. They schedule their flights so they are all leaving at the same time so security turns into a zoo (but afterward there is no one at security and then again turns into zoo for next Ryan Air flight bundle). Even when you get to the airport over 2 hours ahead of time and havevno checked bags they charge you 100 pounds ($145) each person if you miss your flight. Plus they will not book you on the next flight at the customer service gates. They make you leave security to book next flight so they have a change to do it all over again. There is no leg room where just few Easy Jet and there was. I have only used two EU discount airlines but I have used many discount count airlines in the United States, Southeast Asia and Central America and I can easily say Ryanair was the worst airlines I have used."
Cons: "Extra charge to print boarding passes, costs of luggage. Flight was delayed."
Pros: "Fast and cheap. Clean."
Cons: "Seats too small."
Cons: "When we arrived at eh queue for boarding the line was a bit serpentine since no staff was there to keep straight. This was okay until another group came into the area and then it was a disaster. i went to the desk to seek help and was abruptly told don't worry it will be sorted out. Never was and as a result people who had arrived early then ended up back in the lien and were forced to check carry on luggage. Ryan needs to set up a person at the entry lines as there are up to 7 flights that could be queuing at the same time . Not good"
Pros: "Flight was on time and flight crew was nice."
Cons: "This is the worst airline I've ever dealt with. The check in process is ridiculous. If you don't check yourself in online its £45 and if you don't print your own boarding passes its £15 per person. After 5 attempts of putting in all the information repeatedly, I finally got us checked in but could not get the passes to print. Unfortunately, Stanstead doesn't accept mobile passes so I got to pay the £30 fee. Then they claimed I never booked a bag so another £45 fee. And then the same bag that I checked in Scotland via Ryanair was suddenly too big/heavy so it got an oversize charge. i ended up paying more for baggage and boarding passes than I did for four tickets!! The "customer service" reps we dealt with were rude and really seemed to hate their jobs. The flight crew was nice though. Overall, I'd never ever suggest this airline to anyone who doesn't have more money than brains."
Pros: "The plane crew was actually very nice and did their best to help passengers and provide a good environment."
Cons: "Anything from charging the flight to a credit card to checking bags at the airport without declaring them online, to checking in and printing boarding passes at the airport costs money, and often it's an exhorbitant fee. Make sure you are 100% clear on their fees and terms & conditions."
