Cons: "The flight was delayed 4 hours. At the time when we were supposed to depart, nobody from the airline was at the counter outside the designated gate. I asked couple of people from Avianca and they told me the flight was departing at the original time, which was not correct. The flight first was pushed to 1 am departure (3 hours delay) and then to 4 am departure (4 hours delay). After several people asked about the flight and an hour after the original departure time, the airline finally had staff at the counter indicating the new departure time and apologizing for the inconvenience. The airline offered a meal at the airport, but I didn't find this through their representatives, but through another passenger. The gate changed about 5 times, which I understand is not under the airline control, but part of this probably could have been prevented with better coordination. My first day in La Paz was horrible, as I couldn't even sleep waiting for my flight to depart. Thank you Avianca!"

When I tried to check in online, it said there was a problem with my ticket... but luckily staff in the airport managed my baggage transfer quickly and I was able to check in no problem. Unneeded stress, but all worked out in the end."

We arrived when our flight was scheduled to take off but instead of holding that flight for maybe 30 minutes so everyone with connections could make it, we had to spend the night in Bogota. At least we were provided with hotel and food vouchers but don’t see how that is cost effective or good service for the airline when holding the plane for less than an hour would have allowed dozens of people to make it back the day we were scheduled to."

Cons: "The flight was canceled, 2-3 day ahead of flight, leaving us scrambling for flights to get me to meetings. Avianca was difficult to contact. The new last minute flights were schedule on COPA...cost us an extra 3000 dollars last minute. To add insult to in jury......the COPA leg from New York was canceled at the airport due to a mechanical problem. We were suppose to leave on Tuesday at 3:25 and get to Bucaramanga that night..........DID NOT HAPPEN. We finally, after two nights in two different cities hotel rooms, we got to Buca on Thursday morning about 10:30 am. COPA's help, was awful............confused, non professional. We could not get food from noon on one day to about 5 the next morning. COPA did not care."

They always have food and drinks available to people and obviously have a priority when it comes to children. Their seats in economy are somewhat spacious and international flights always have good entertainment with their touch screen. You can listen to music, watch movies and even TV shows without any extra cost."

Cons: "My office in UK needed to change my departure day electronically. She was told she needed (for complex reasons) to go to London to do this - ridiculous as we live on the Isle of Wight. The other option was I needed to go to the airport to change it and pay supplement. Luckily it was only a 30min taxi ride from my hotel. The desk staff could see the issue and resolved the problem within 20mins - extremely helpful. A shame this could not be sorted in UK by phone and email"

Pros: "We are an American Family. We traveled on LATAM Sydney to Auckland round trip. The plane was brand new Boeing Dreamliner 787-8 with all the bells and whistles. The attendants who are Spanish speakers but bilingual were delightful. We had one meal on each flight and 2 rounds of drinks. We had no issues with carry on or checked luggage. To summarize we had 2 perfect on-time flights with no fuss or drama. I couldn't recommend them more even if I tried.."

It took days for anyone to contact me about if my pack was found or not. I will be avoiding this airline from now on if possible."

Cons: "I was charged $55.00 to book early and choose seats. I agreed because I wanted to be sure to sit with my husband and have a view. Iberia changed my seats without my knowledge, and denied charging me extra. I have papers to prove my claim and will dispute the charges with my credit card company. Directions to our connecting flight in the airport by Iberia staff was confusing and they were extremely rude. We asked 3 different times! We were in danger of missing our connecting flight. Iberia is the worst airlines I have ever experienced, and I will never purchase a flight on Iberia again! Lesson learned!"

Cons: "I stopped at the Iberia check-in at Barajas in Madrid. They sent me to BA check-in, where I waited 45 minutes to find out that I should be at Iberia check-in. Then, Iberia check-in had to send me to last minute clerk or I would have missed my flight. Last minute check-in ended up being the same place and same clerk I began with."

To put this in perspective this was the most uncomfortable I have ever been on an airplane. My legs hurt the whole flight. This was the first leg of an expensive international flight and given the price of the 2 legs I should have been upgraded to a more comfortable seat. My flight to Europe on Iberia was excellent. Cons: "The seat on the LGW to MAD leg of my journey was very painful and uncomfortable. Seat pitch was very short. I have never seen such close seats in 45 years of flying including bargain airlines let alone more pricey higher quality airlines like British. Iberia was supposed to be an extension of British. When I arrived at MAD I went to the Iberia desk and tried to make an upgrade to their "business" class which was not up to the level of British's Premium Economy. At the Iberia desk at MAD, or online, or on the phone to upgrade the short leg of my return trip without raising cost of my whole round trip from USD $1250 to over USD $4000! years.This was RETURN part of my journey! Also was not able to choose seats ahead of time at MAD when I landed, online, or on the phone. British also said that I could not upgrade just the first (MAD to LGW) leg of my return journey. I would have to upgrade the LGW to TPA also. It is critical to me that I can physically fit into the space between my seat and the one in front. Emergency evacuation would be very difficult for all pax with the short seat pitch. My having to sit sideways with my legs in the aisle would make it more difficult for other pax to to evacuate in an emergency. Since I need a wheel chair I can no longer request the exit row as I have done for 45 years. British should be aware that bad experiences with partner airlines tarnishes their reputation. As a premier airline British should pressure partner airlines to maintain seat pitch at no less than 32 inches which is still tight for many people. Since not all partners have equivalent classes of fares, British should allow mixed classes. For example on a TPA to MAD round trip journey, it should be possible for the transatlantic legs to be at Premium Economy prices, and the short legs LHR or LGW to MAD at business class prices. Feel free to contact me."

Pros: "My flight boarded easily, and left on time. The seats were comfortable, the food included a hot meal for dinner, and the entertainment available was varied. We even landed in Madrid a little early. Traveling is always trying, especially in coach. The Iberia experience was very pleasant."
Cons: "Nothing really stands out unless you want to make coach like 1st class for the same price"

Pros: "Very comfortable and friendly crew."
Cons: "They start boarding on time, but inexplicably kept people waiting on the jetbridge and did not allow anyone to actually pass through the airplane doors."

Pros: "Considering my flight was from Tenerife to NY even though they stopped in Madrid they could have given us at least a bottle or glass of water without charging for it. No TV so not the greatest flight. Staff not very helpful at airport to accommodate a seat change to be able to sit with family."

Cons: "No priority lane for frequent flyers at MAD, no lounge at IBZ to use if your return is on BA (thought that was the same company?) Rude employees. Flight still not credited to AA 6 months later."

Cons: "I am still waiting for my luggage. It was lost between the flight from Amsterdam to Madrid and a flight from Madrid to San Juan. It is already 1 week."

Pros: "The flight overall was very comfortable and the crew were very accommodating and attentive."
Cons: "About halfway through the flight got diverted to drop off a critically ill passenger, so instead of it being an 11 hour flight, it was a 16.5 hour flight. Not anyone's fault, but still incredibly inconvenient."

Pros: "The in-flight entertainment system was good."
Cons: "I generally don't like Iberia customer service, either in phone or in person. Crew at times would behave in a rude fashion to certain requests, and act as if simple requests were an imposition on them."
