Room was very nice, hotel staff very pleasant. location was pretty close to La Jolla shores which was a big bonus! $25 a night parking, making you pay $12 a day for internet... my phone is cheaper than that, no free breakfast, no hot tub, no sauna, the gym was very basic. Pretty disappointing paying premium price for everything but getting basic hotel features the holiday inn down the street would have offered.

Close to UCSD campus. I prefer Marriott hotels cause I have silver membership. This particular hotel staff was unfriendly, slow and insulting intellectually. I prepaid my two days stay and called the hotel the day before and asked for two queen beds. still on arrival rudely I was told that Queen bed rooms were all sold out. At check out waited 20 minutes in the room and ended up carrying everything ourselves. Given excuse was they were very busy. Very snob attitude. No one apologizing. Do not recommend.
There for a wedding; venue, food and staff were great. Nice they had small frig and a little coffeemaker in room. There are some small shops and eateries (i.e. Einsteins Bagels) nearby. Room was nice. Bar was nice and open late. Pet friendly, lots of dogs around if you like dogs. Good gym, and pool was nice and warm. $25/day parking, and $12/day for wifi (think free wifi if you reserve as rewards member). Luckily there is some street parking 2 blocks away on weekends (otherwise 2 hr 8-6) and some all day on Lajolla Village Dr. Location was in a business park area so wouldn't want to stay there except for an event.
Service was super sweet and the rooms were nice. On the other side of the 5- not beach side of La Jolla. Parking as a little expensive.
Room was clean and comfortable. Workout room had plenty of equipment. Pool was small but refreshing. Price seemed like a bargain, until learning... Parking was $28 per day. Internet was $13 a day ($17 for fast). Rooms with two beds had double beds, not queens like other hotels. We originally booked one room with two beds but ended up getting a second room so our adult children would be comfortable. We spent more than twice what we expected. And then they over-changed us for parking, so we had to get that corrected. The hotel was fine but the price and experience were less than great.
Previously to my arrival I dealt with Ms. Adela Prada (reception) and Mr. Siamak Nassirpour (manager). They were responsive, attentive, kind and efficient and they resolved satisfactorily all the issues I had. The room was a little bit small.
I was given a handicap room that smelled like wet dogs and my socks were covered with dog hair! I had to call maintenance to come fix the toilet as well.

Location to UCSD and easy access to North SD attractions. Plenty of eateries within close distance of hotel. Staff was super friendly and as promised got us a noon check-in. Thumbs down on $25 parking
The staff was great. It was pretty clean an quiet. Pool was nice. Wasn't as close to the beach as they advertise. Still had to take about a 15-20 minute drive. The room service is terrible. Very limited menu, nothing very appetizing. we finally decided on a pizza and a pork dish, which were both very bland and not that good to be honest. And our bill turned out to be $90!!! Such a rip off. That's the most I've ever paid for something like that and I've stayed at many hotels in my life.
The one thing I disnt like was for our taking an hour to get ready and they have to give us another room. Also, I think I was charged different from what was on the bill I got from the hotel.
Location is priceless We reported our bathroom light wasn't working. We were told it would be repaired while we were out. It wasn't repaired and I question whether anyone really came to the room. There was a paper wrapper and something else small on the carpet near the door. We left it there to see if the housekeeping was doing their job. We stayed 3 days and so did the paper. No pool beverage or food service. I can understand that might be the case in the winter, but not in July. For such an outstanding location and view, you would expect a beautiful dining experience. Not so, it's the same boring coffee shop style room it was at our last visit over 15 years ago. Menu is limited and pricey. We walked next door to the beautifully remodeled Lodge at Torrey Pines and had a outstanding breakfast with an incredible view. We will be staying there next trip.
Beautiful grounds. I had to get housekeeping to clean the bathroom as it was really, really disgusting! The toilet was so bad I do not know how they could possibly not clean it. Then the shower also looked like it had been used as a toilet! Had to also go to front desk our second day there to ask for some one to clean our room! Beautiful grounds but housekeeping is the worst I have ever seen! Not what I would expect of a Hilton.
The view was amazing, the hotel was beautiful. , I wish there were more staff on hand for the check out, I would have liked to confirm the receipt and everything, but the line was so long that we had to leave to make an appointment we had without getting to the front desk.

Registration was so easy, the staff member was very pleasant, the environment was calm and peaceful. Every thing felt hassle free. I would of like to of had a better selection on the dinner menu. The parking situation was not explained clearly, so I payed twice for parking.
Facilities Location & price.
We immediately felt welcome as Rob at the front desk gave us information about the facility and its surroundings. He gave us a corner room near the top with spectacular views. We got two beds which is plenty of room for family of four. Inside the room there is is luxurious atmosphere with open space. There is also Keurig with Starbucks coffee. Overall clean and modern, with even electronic shades. I have stayed at plenty of upscale hotels and this is the best by far. The location is the best. I went jogging at the lovely Seaport Village right next to it. The Gaslamp Quarter is also near. Overall an excellent place and we would definitely come back!

Great location, we had a beautiful view of the water and of the pool area. The pool was very nice as were the hot tubs. The room was very clean and spacious and the staff was very polite. And I did not have to wait long for an elevator. The only issue we had was that our parking pass was note coded so we were unable to exit the garage. The staff quickly corrected it thouh.
View. Room size. Location. When I woke up in the AM i noticed my iPhone was covered in dust. I then noticed the desk with my black laptop, across from the air conditioning vent was also covered in dust particles. This is a big deal for me because I have a dust mite allergy, but still have never seen this level of dust collect just overnight. I think the air filter vents in these rooms are very very dirty and just blow dust all night as Long as the AC is running. I was extremely congested all day due to my allergy and had a hard day networking at my convention. Also, the TV service this day and age is sub-poor. No guide and some of the channels didn't work "no signal".
Great service and friendly staff. Room was clean and updated (with an incredible view). Also a great location for hitting the downtown SD spots. Only downside (very minor) is the breakfast in the hotel restaurant is buffet only. Would've liked an option to just get some eggs and a juice without paying $40 for all-you-can-eat. But there are plenty of other places to eat, so no worries. I'd definitely stay there again.

Located with in walking distance to the Gas Lamps District, Petco Park, water front and many more areas that I like. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Every year me and the wife go on a little get away and we always stay here.

The locations was great next to the convention center and Gas Lamp. Also close to food and shops. Clean, renovated and felt luxurious.

View from room was spectacular . Beds very comfortable Booked a view room on line requested a refrigerator got to hotel was told that I did not book that room and it would be $ 35.00 dollars more a night for view room . No refrigerator. 2 days without housekeeping had to call front desk to get room cleaned.
Clean and comfortable It would appear people mostly come here too party. The first night there was a party at a the end of the hall and a large case of empty beer cans in the hall in the morning. The second night We were woken at about midnight to screaming and carrying on outside our room, literally outside our room. We asked the partiers to be quieter but gave up when we saw it was > 15 people in the hallway. They quieted down at 0300.
Oh the views from the rooms on the upper floors are incredible. Rooms are average size, and much smaller than the Marriott and Hyatt which are close by. Parking $35 a day what a ripoff. My daily rate for the car rental was less. It was difficult to find the Fox Sports Bar as you had to go outside. Hotel needs to have better signage.

We loved the location and he cleanliness. It was very quiet and the room was extremely comfortable! We did like the view but wished there were more pictures online so you can get a good feel of the view you're paying for. I believe it would be helpful for further bookings.
It is on the bayfront and has restaurants and close to Gaslamp. On the first morning of our stay, the housekeeping supervisor with her clipboard came banging at our door at 8am. She didn't stop until we jolted out of a deep sleep to answer the door. When we came to the door she pretended not to speak English. The parking is $35/day. There is no fridge in the room. The duvets had stains and smelt bad.

The service is outstanding. Every team member at every level cannot do enough for you. The grounds are beautiful overlooking the Pacific Ocean. All shops and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. There is nothing about this hotel that you will not like!

The pool is very nice and most of the staff are friendly. They didn't answer their main telephone number, at all, in the days leading up to my arrival. They also do a poor job of warning guests that July 4 fireworks cannot be viewed from the hotel unless you are in a private reserved area. Missing much of the fireworks while exploring the hotel for a non-exclusive vantage point was, needless to say, a bummer. Housekeeping was marginal: some room service items weren't removed, shampoo/toiletries weren't replenished, and drain in shower was clogged with sand upon arrival.

Location, location, location! Breakfast and being served on roof excellent. Staff above average. Little balcony overlooking the park/ocean very nice. Doors absolutely slam hard when just closed normally. Unbelievably loud. Disturbs sleep at night as people come in from late activities and in the AM when others are getting up and on their way early. Rooms very outdated and not kept up well at all. Screens torn, towel rack fell out of the wall, stains om couch, etc No air conditioning and we happened to be there during warmer than normal period so the room was too warm, and effected sleep.

I liked the pool. It's a salt water pool and is great to be in as well as the hot tub. The pool area in general is lovely. There was carpet torn up in our room exposing the tack strips that hold it down causing pretty serious potential danger when walking around barefoot. Obviously the room was not checked prior to booking us into it which i would expect at these prices. That's bad enough to warrant another option in the future but the remedy for them was to tell us they were sending a maintenance person at some point in the future to fix it. No one came for an hour. We then called back annoyed we'd been wasting time sitting in the room instead of at their facilities and another front desk person said they would get on it immediately and we could change our room if we wanted to. After no service for the next hour or so i finally went to the front and asked what was going on. They apologized, and gave me a new room. They said someone could help us move our stuff to a new room. With our dinner reservations only minutes in the future I ran back to the room to start moving stuff and a staff member showed up maybe 15 minutes later to help, with them knowing full well we were in a rush to change rooms because of dinner reservations. There was nothing left for them to do. This caused us to be late to dinner. This did not cause serious trouble because the restaurant was able to accommodate us. But we were stressed and worried! We did get a call later in the evening telling us we would get our resort fees back ($25) in compensation. I don't think this fee is appropriate to begin with so I do not consider this a remedy at all. It's also a very small portion of our total costs at the hotel in relation to the inconvenience it caused us. After that saga, we returned from dinner to a couple in a room above us yelling and screaming at each other and stomping around. We tried to call the front desk after it did not cease for about 30 minutes. There was no one to receive our call at 12 midnight. After a couple attempts I decided to get dressed for a trip to the front desk and figure out what the heck is going on with the service at this place!! There was one person working the area when i got there and he apologized he was not available for our calls earlier. They seem very understaffed for a luxury hotel. He said they would look into the issue immediately. There was some additional banging of doors and yelling through the night but it was not continuous so i'm not really blaming them for that, but the level of service is just not at all what I wanted for a birthday weekend of luxury and relaxation!! I would expect what we got from a cheap hotel chain at about $40/night.
Friendly staff. The room was very clean
The grounds are gorgeous, the employees are exceedingly friendly and go above and beyond in every instance. They honestly seem to enjoy pleasing the customers, and even politely asked at check out if there was anything they could improve upon. Nothing. That was my response. I can say nothing negative about this inn. If you come away displeased, there simply is no pleasing you.
The Inn was wonderful and the staff was amazing. Booking through this website was a very poor experience. The room was supposed to have an ocean view and was not as advertised on this website. Luckily after contacting the inn directly I was able to change our room. There was NO savings in price either to book through this website.

The entire staff were all so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond when I forgot my wedding rings in the room the morning we left!!!!! Loved the accomodations, as did my 13 and 15 year old children. They really paid atttendion to every detail when they rennovated the units. My 13 year son even commented on the linens and matresses. Just a joy. Excellent location. Ocean on one side, beautiful La Jolla Village on the back side. Would definately go back.
Best western by the sea provided ample parking, the rooms were clean and comfortable which allowed us to enjoy la jolla as were able to get a good nights rest.

The location was outstanding. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The lobby was tastefully decorated and parking was available and easy. Seems a little exessive to charge additionally for parking- it is not secure parking in an enclosed lot. The rooms were a little shabby, specifically the bathroom and carpeting. There was trash in the trashcan and food crumbs on the balcony when we checked in. The balcony was not ever cleaned during our stay.

Morning It's dirty, cockroaches, staff was rude. Overall worst hotel experience ever. I will never come back again.
Close to airport and had a shuttle to the airport. Close to Gaslamp District, so we could take a cab for dinner. Restaurants were closed down with the exception of one. The palm tree outside of our window blocked our view. The room you get through online is the old tower (hotel) and quite removed from everything else. Noise all night with partying people upstairs...went until 4:45 a.m. until we left for the airport.

Access to freeways. I often visit with children - The proximity to whole foods and other stores is helpful. It's a fairly quick drive to the beach. I stay at the Sheraton frequently because of points. I find that the staff seem scarce and rarely that friendly with the exception of the cleaning staff. The hotel rooms are adequate but showing their age. The suites are anything but delux. The layout of the suite type room is awkward with the bedroom directly at the door and hallway which requires walking thru the bedroom to get to sitting room. It does seem perfectly acceptable if your business is covering the cost of the hotel. In terms of value, as a leisure traveller, there are great smaller but charming hotels closer to the village/beach with a better price.

Beautiful view, clean room with comfy bed, feels safe and staff helpful. I didn't attend many, but enjoyed the planned facility activities that were offered daily. The pier is such a nice walk. I didn't see much of Oceanside itself, felt like everything I needed was just a few mins walk. The key cards were a pain. I needed to replace mine several times, but the staff gladly assisted.

The hotel is located in the Gas lamp area, it is well serviced by public transport. It is located in walking distance to the USS Midway and local attractions. The hotel does not have a restaurant, you can obtain a discount from an affiliated restaurant. Room was small.
The location was very good and it was very quiet inside the room. The connecting door to the bathroom needed to be altered as the handle slid past the door opening and I caught my thumb in the handle and it was bruised.

Nice grounds, hotel staff very friendly. While on vacation being woken up at 4:00 am and 6:00 am every morning due to construction work being done on the expansion of the conference center was a bit maddening. I got the impression that they were behind schedule due to the 3:30 am dumpster clean out. The services at the one and only restaurant was very poor. Complete mayhem in the understanding of the services due to poor management, Often times we would have to go look for a server to get a drink at the lounge area.
Large clean room, good views, many on-site amenities shops and restaurants, great location, helpful efficient staff. Expensive rooms, extra charge for internet, no ventilation fan in the bathroom.
Beds were comfortable. Concierges were all great -- friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Pool was lovely, view was lovely. Nice pre-set videos for fitness classes. I did the yoga. Balcony quite small. Restaurant nice for breakfast buffet but dinner wasn't very good.

As a young couple, we have not stayed at many nice hotels. This was a very refreshing look into the "adult" world, and truly sets a precedent for what a well put together hotel looks like. No complaints whatsoever.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the service was good. The facility is very nice and the location is prime. Everything was overpriced. Valet was $47 a night ($35 for self parking), the hotel charged an extra $12 for Internet service, and the room service arrived in a paper bag and plastic cups (very disappointing).

Stayed here with my husband and two daughters, 7 and 9. We really didn't spend much time in the hotel, but it was clean and quiet. The location was nice for the coast, shopping and dining. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus.

Location, right in the center of downtown La Jolla. Easy to walk around the shops and to the beach area. Parking is at a premium. Costs $18.00 per day for valet. Not a problem if one is staying a night or two, but a week might be a cost issue!

That it found a room for me after I arrived an learned that IT DID NOT HAVE MY RESERVATION! I brought a printout of the Priceline confirmation and got what the staff said was the only remaining room, the result of a recent cancellation. That the cleaning staff got my bed ready for the evening but failed to pick up wet towels I left on the floor after my shower at 5 pm (to prepare for a pre-wedding reception for out of town guests).
The beds were very comfortable, friendly staff, excellent coffee, cute shops in walking distance! The only bummer was the parking. You don't have to pay for the hotel valet (which I think was $18 a day), but you can only park your car on the street at certain times. We felt rushed to get ready in the morning so we wouldn't get a parking ticket.

It was right off the highway & looked like a good stopping place foe my cross-country move. There was black mold growing along the walls, white stains in the carpet, and a soiled chair. The tubs drain was clogged as well, filling up the tub with blueish water during a shower. I was by no means expecting luxury, but the condition of this room was appalling. Staff didn't seem the least bit concerned, and management has not responded to my concerns. The state health department should shut this place down.
There were nice amenities available including a pool, hot tub, and workout room. The staff were friendly and prompt at dealing with questions or solving any issues we had during our stay. The rooms were clean and all outlets and items such as wifi and tv in the room functioned properly. For the approximate $40 per night we paid it was a great deal for the area (as many are over twice that) despite the age of our particular assigned room and the amenities it was lacking. If you require a basic room at a cheap price this fits the bill. The unit (motel style in the back of the property) that we were in was obviously older and lacking in renovations or restoration.
Didn't like the fact that the tv was a tube tv and the room smelled. No fridge or microwave and the ice machine didn't work.

Table in room was all scratched. Did not feel safe. The tub was in very rough shape. Yuck!!! Don't stay here. Needs to be updated!!!!
It was cheap The pool that was NOT filled in with dirt was fine. None of my stuff got stolen. I did not see any cockroaches. Breakfast is NOT included, despite what it says online. I put that first because everything I found online said it was, and when I suggested that the hotel do something about updating that info, they suggested I try the on-site cafe. Conveniently located next to the on-site liquor store. You think that's a joke? Look it up. Seriously. On-Site liquor store. Maybe that's a plus for some people. AC ran full tilt 24 hours a day and NEVER got cool inside the room - in October. Chair was broken. Phone was not working- but they did replace it. The bed was like a sinkhole, a HUGE depression in the center. Room definitely smelled musty and not-too-faintly of urine Two ice machines on site. Good luck getting ice though. One guest told me it's better to just go buy a bag at the store. He was right. The "free wifi" was slower than dial-up, but not as reliable. If you try to use it after 7AM, when other guests are also trying to use it, you have not got a prayer. Staff could not care less about complaints. For some reason, the TV cannot be set to just come on on channel 3. You have to turn it on, - it comes on around channel 50 - and manually get back to 3, then you can use the remote. If the little IR sensor has not fallen behind the TV, which mine had. No one told me about the little sensor. The maintenance guy eventually came and fiddled with it, eventually pulling it around to the side a bit, so that if you were right in front of the TV and aimed the remote to the left, it worked. A small thing, but really, I'm sure they knew what the problem was in the first place and some fresh double sided tape would have taken care of it. The tiny bathroom seemed clean, though the sink is in need of repair. The windows had locks which could be opened, but the windows would not open. Since the AC was a failure, this was sometimes a problem. The cabinet which holds the TV also serves as your dresser. The rollers WOULD NOT stay on the slides. The slides are bent and loose, so every time you open the thing, one of the rollers falls off. I got into the habit of just pulling the thing out to get to the bottom drawer, which was inaccessible when the top one was off the rails. Overall, if you need a cheap hotel as close to the nice hotels on Hotel Circle as possible, then this is a place to stay without sleeping outside. If you are there for business and every penny out of pocket counts, I would say you can make it work. Insist on a room as close to the office as possible, inspect it before unpacking anything, and see if they can upgrade your room when you find something wrong. If you are looking for a place to take anyone you are NOT paying to stay with you - wife, children, unpaid romantic interest - spend the extra cash for a place that does not feel like being in a John Carpenter movie.
Nothing Nonsmoking room smelled like smoke, dirty carpet, ants in the bathroom, no water pressure, toilet splashed all over when flushed. I could go on and on

Mostly everything was ok. The outlets didn't fit right when trying to plug in too loose.
The rooms were dirty. Showers and toilet looked unclean. Carpet was sticky. Only stay here if you really cant afford anything better. Dog poop all over the grounds/grass, wasnt picked up. Was not a "RESORT" as titled.
