Pros: The service was excellent, hotel employee at the front desk went above and beyond to help us!!
Pros: Very nice and close to downtown La Jolla. Nice bar and good night life
Cons: The bar tender was sort of grumpy and not too friendly.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent! The room was very comfortable.
Cons: Parking was very expensive at $18 a day.
Very organized, good service, staff answers any of your questions, a very continental breakfast, no pool, but who goes swimming in the winter anyway?!
Pros: Location, right in the center of downtown La Jolla. Easy to walk around the shops and to the beach area.
Cons: Parking is at a premium. Costs $18.00 per day for valet. Not a problem if one is staying a night or two, but a week might be a cost issue!
Pros: That it found a room for me after I arrived an learned that IT DID NOT HAVE MY RESERVATION! I brought a printout of the Priceline confirmation and got what the staff said was the only remaining room, the result of a recent cancellation.
Cons: That the cleaning staff got my bed ready for the evening but failed to pick up wet towels I left on the floor after my shower at 5 pm (to prepare for a pre-wedding reception for out of town guests).
Pros: The Breakfast was nice. The room they served it in was to small for the amount of people.Great staff. Good location 2 blocks from the beach.
Cons: The parking was $18 for valet. We parked a couple blocks away for free.
Really comfortable beds with very nice linens. Nice thick bath towels and robes. Excellent, very professional staff. The restaurant is fantastic. The veal chop is the finest you will have anywhere. The location is perfect, central to all that is happening. It is exceptionally clean. The continental breakfast is nice and provides something for everyone, from hard-boiled eggs and yogurt to pastries, bagels, cereals and fruit. Overall, this is the best bargain for La Jolla---you get a lot per dollar!
Pros: The staff was amazing. Ben, at the front desk, was incredibly kind and helpful with excellent recommendations. Even the room service staff was superior!
Cons: I liked everything.
3 blocks from the ocean cliffs and 5 blocks from La Jolla Cove, this San Diego-area hotel is conveniently located in the heart of La Jolla Village, with its upscale boutiques, restaurants, and galleries.
Pros: The grounds are gorgeous, the employees are exceedingly friendly and go above and beyond in every instance. They honestly seem to enjoy pleasing the customers, and even politely asked at check out if there was anything they could improve upon. Nothing. That was my response.
Cons: I can say nothing negative about this inn. If you come away displeased, there simply is no pleasing you.
Pros: Staff was amazing! Made sure my every need was filled! The room with the spa tub is amazing!
Cons: Nothing, everything was awesome
Pros: The view and the location was fantastic
Cons: Cleanliness, food
Pros: The Inn was wonderful and the staff was amazing.
Cons: Booking through this website was a very poor experience. The room was supposed to have an ocean view and was not as advertised on this website. Luckily after contacting the inn directly I was able to change our room. There was NO savings in price either to book through this website.

Pros: The service is outstanding. Every team member at every level cannot do enough for you. The grounds are beautiful overlooking the Pacific Ocean. All shops and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel.
Cons: There is nothing about this hotel that you will not like!
Cons: The room was tiny, very uncomfortable, and lousy view. The charge for the room was ridiculous. We also had to pay $30 to park her car.,,
Pros: The pool is very nice and most of the staff are friendly.
Cons: They didn't answer their main telephone number, at all, in the days leading up to my arrival. They also do a poor job of warning guests that July 4 fireworks cannot be viewed from the hotel unless you are in a private reserved area. Missing much of the fireworks while exploring the hotel for a non-exclusive vantage point was, needless to say, a bummer. Housekeeping was marginal: some room service items weren't removed, shampoo/toiletries weren't replenished, and drain in shower was clogged with sand upon arrival.

Cons: First, My girlfriend and I arrived to relax our first valentine's day weekend for one night. I made an arrangement with the Spa to have a couple's massage which included the tub. The tub was broken and replaced for hands and feet massage with the package. We had our dinner reservations at the spa. Our suitcases were not in our room per our request, and we had to have our clean clothes to wear prior our dinner reservation. After, we got our bags. We went down to Mustangs & Burros for our dinner reservation and found out it was closed, and there was a sign to go to a different restaurant within the hotel. The restaurant setting was crappy and dark. The food was not great, and we each had a very pricey glass of wine which is not even full. $30 each drink!!!! ridiculous! It was not a great place for a new couple to celebrate first valentine's day!
Pros: I liked the pool. It's a salt water pool and is great to be in as well as the hot tub. The pool area in general is lovely.
Cons: There was carpet torn up in our room exposing the tack strips that hold it down causing pretty serious potential danger when walking around barefoot. Obviously the room was not checked prior to booking us into it which i would expect at these prices. That's bad enough to warrant another option in the future but the remedy for them was to tell us they were sending a maintenance person at some point in the future to fix it. No one came for an hour. We then called back annoyed we'd been wasting time sitting in the room instead of at their facilities and another front desk person said they would get on it immediately and we could change our room if we wanted to. After no service for the next hour or so i finally went to the front and asked what was going on. They apologized, and gave me a new room. They said someone could help us move our stuff to a new room. With our dinner reservations only minutes in the future I ran back to the room to start moving stuff and a staff member showed up maybe 15 minutes later to help, with them knowing full well we were in a rush to change rooms because of dinner reservations. There was nothing left for them to do. This caused us to be late to dinner. This did not cause serious trouble because the restaurant was able to accommodate us. But we were stressed and worried! We did get a call later in the evening telling us we would get our resort fees back ($25) in compensation. I don't think this fee is appropriate to begin with so I do not consider this a remedy at all. It's also a very small portion of our total costs at the hotel in relation to the inconvenience it caused us.
After that saga, we returned from dinner to a couple in a room above us yelling and screaming at each other and stomping around. We tried to call the front desk after it did not cease for about 30 minutes. There was no one to receive our call at 12 midnight. After a couple attempts I decided to get dressed for a trip to the front desk and figure out what the heck is going on with the service at this place!! There was one person working the area when i got there and he apologized he was not available for our calls earlier. They seem very understaffed for a luxury hotel. He said they would look into the issue immediately. There was some additional banging of doors and yelling through the night but it was not continuous so i'm not really blaming them for that, but the level of service is just not at all what I wanted for a birthday weekend of luxury and relaxation!! I would expect what we got from a cheap hotel chain at about $40/night.
Pros: Friendly staff. The room was very clean
Pros: I thought it was charming. The rooms and grounds are well done. The location is perfect. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again!
Pros: The staff were super friendly and accommodating!
Cons: Only complaint is the room service took awhile )as expected considering we ordered at the height of breakfast hours)
Pros: love the room. especially the bed. it was very comfortable
Cons: it was noisy at times, people upstairs were jumping on the bed, can hear people walking by in the hallway, esp since our room was near the entrance door.
Also, usually our stay here in the past was more relaxed because it was never overly crowded. this last visit, there were three wedding parties, a medical convention, on top of the other hotel guest stays, which included parents of students checking in to UCSD. We had long wait for food at all the restaurants we went to on property on Saturday - ALL day. pool looks like Spring Break in Cabo. extremely crowded. They were severely understaffed!
So aside from the visits to the restaurants on property, our entire weekend was just spent in the room and a visit to the spa. Not sure if we will stay here again
Pros: The complimentary bottle of wine and waters. Comfy mattress. Breakfast at restaurant was delicious
Cons: Pillows were lumpy

Pros: I love this hotel! Great location, excellent staff and awesome rooms. We really appreciated getting upgraded to an ocean view suite. We definitely will return.
Pros: Bed was amazing, very roomy and great price. AC was a nice perk and the proximity to beach and shops was perfect. We went for a relaxing get away it surely delivered.

Pros: We could walk to most of the places we wanted to visit in the La Jolla area. Good restaurants and friendly people.
Cons: The room seemed a little dated but the bed was comfortable and we didnt spend much time in the room.
Pros: Location, close to the shore/beach
Cons: Construction noise
Must pay for parking
Pros: Nice service, friendly, I would like to stay again.
Cons: Parking fee is 12.00.
Kind of expensive.
Pros: I loved the location. Perfect for what I was looking for. You're within walking distance to the heart of La Jolla.
Cons: The parking was horrible. The parking lot is too small for a hotel of this size. Warning if you have a large vehicle don't park in the parking garage. You'll hate it when you drive in & can't find a space. Staff could be a little bit more friendly. When we checked in the guy at the desk didn't seem very friendly. When I went to check out the girl at the desk didn't say how was your stay, not even a good morning. I know they have a continental breakfast however, no one mentioned it so therefore I forgot. Despite all these negatives I would stay there again.
Pros: Feels more like a boutique hotel and less like s typical Best Western
Cons: Remodeling of several rooms around us.
Pros: Large terrace room 200
Partially newly renovated
Generally clean appearance
Excellent location in LaJolla
Cons: Maid did not clean shower or toilet only sinks
Very poor water pressure
Pros: Location was great and price was right.
Cons: Pillows are too tall and cause neck pain; beds are hard and not comfortable. Overall, the sleep experience was lacking. Also, the shower had limited hot water and became like warm after 10 minutes; with two people to shower in our group, this was very annoying.

Pros: Their website, no one can take them to court because there website says all the bad things about themself. If I had read their website, I would have never signed up to stay there.
Cons: This Bed & Breakfast Inn has a very bad cancilation policy. We had medical emergency and could not go. They immediately debited our bank account and assigned the smallest room that they themself said was not comfortable for two people.
Loved the free wi-fi. The outdoor breakfast area was wonderful, with the sound of a water feature.
Pros: The breakfast was an outstanding three course gourmet meal.
Cons: The space in the room was tight. Hard to move around beside the bed, in the bathroom, getting into the closet.

Rated The Best Value in La Jolla by Trip Advisor.
Pros: It was the closest hotel to where I needed to get every morning.
I enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
Good food nearby, but Humphrey's seemed way too expensive even with the discount I was offered and with the fact that I was going to get reimbursed for it. Just couldn't justify going there.
The staff was very kind and I appreciated the "Go Green" points.
Cons: The shower wasn't working great. It was hard to turn on and off.
It didn't necessarily feel like the cleanest place. I've been inside other Sheraton locations and they were better. (like the Sheraton in Seattle)
I would prefer to pay less and just have one bed. Felt unnecessary to have two for just myself.
Pros: Great convenient location off the freeway, but generally quiet. Nice grounds, restaurant and bar just fine. Older property but pretty well maintained with nice landscaping. Easy in and out. Price is reasonable and perfect for general business and leisure stays.
Cons: Not the place for flashy La Jolla style or the middle of the village or coast views. Small bathrooms.
Pros: The rooms were big and clean, beds very comfortable, staff very
helpful and friendly. Great location.
Cons: Fee for parking was $15 per night..this was not noted on the Website.
Pros: The pool was nice and the grounds were lovely
Cons: Overpriced for the value
Pros: Beautiful view, clean room with comfy bed, feels safe and staff helpful. I didn't attend many, but enjoyed the planned facility activities that were offered daily. The pier is such a nice walk. I didn't see much of Oceanside itself, felt like everything I needed was just a few mins walk.
Cons: The key cards were a pain. I needed to replace mine several times, but the staff gladly assisted.
Pros: Access to freeways. I often visit with children - The proximity to whole foods and other stores is helpful. It's a fairly quick drive to the beach.
Cons: I stay at the Sheraton frequently because of points. I find that the staff seem scarce and rarely that friendly with the exception of the cleaning staff. The hotel rooms are adequate but showing their age. The suites are anything but delux. The layout of the suite type room is awkward with the bedroom directly at the door and hallway which requires walking thru the bedroom to get to sitting room. It does seem perfectly acceptable if your business is covering the cost of the hotel. In terms of value, as a leisure traveller, there are great smaller but charming hotels closer to the village/beach with a better price.

Pros: Location to beach and other attractions along the coast.
Cons: No real room view opportunities
Pros: I arrived 4 hours before check in and they were able to get me into my room within 15 minutes. The dinners were fantastic and every staff member went out of their way to help with anything. A terrific experience.

Pros: Location was beautiful. Big rooms family was comfortable.
Cons: Some of the staff was rude. The First Lady to try to check me in was really nice and polite. Our room wasn't ready when we showed up so she gave us a free appetizer at the restaurant. We went down to eat while we waited and what appeared to be the manager of the restaurant was just talking away with a waiter and they kept looking at us and ignoring us. A busy waitress that was serving outside saw us rushed in and sat us down she was really helpful. It looked like she was the only one running around while the others just stood and talked. When we were done eating we went back to Check in and a male helped us check in. He was not friendly and was rude when answering my questions. Very poor customer service on his part.
Pros: The staff, the views, and service was outstanding
Cons: Food at the resturaunt was a bit pricy but still good
Pros: Beautiful grounds.
Cons: I had to get housekeeping to clean the bathroom as it was really, really disgusting! The toilet was so bad I do not know how they could possibly not clean it. Then the shower also looked like it had been used as a toilet! Had to also go to front desk our second day there to ask for some one to clean our room! Beautiful grounds but housekeeping is the worst I have ever seen! Not what I would expect of a Hilton.
Pros: The staff was great. It was pretty clean an quiet. Pool was nice.
Cons: Wasn't as close to the beach as they advertise. Still had to take about a 15-20 minute drive. The room service is terrible. Very limited menu, nothing very appetizing. we finally decided on a pizza and a pork dish, which were both very bland and not that good to be honest. And our bill turned out to be $90!!! Such a rip off. That's the most I've ever paid for something like that and I've stayed at many hotels in my life.
Cons: Maids did not show up At All one day! Bellmen were rude and disrespectful
Pros: The view was amazing, the hotel was beautiful.
Cons: , I wish there were more staff on hand for the check out, I would have liked to confirm the receipt and everything, but the line was so long that we had to leave to make an appointment we had without getting to the front desk.
Pros: I have a nice stay. Beautiful property.
Cons: Wasn't really anything we didn't like.
Pros: Location is priceless
Cons: We reported our bathroom light wasn't working. We were told it would be repaired while we were out. It wasn't repaired and I question whether anyone really came to the room.
There was a paper wrapper and something else small on the carpet near the door. We left it there to see if the housekeeping was doing their job. We stayed 3 days and so did the paper.
No pool beverage or food service. I can understand that might be the case in the winter, but not in July.
For such an outstanding location and view, you would expect a beautiful dining experience. Not so, it's the same boring coffee shop style room it was at our last visit over 15 years ago. Menu is limited and pricey.
We walked next door to the beautifully remodeled Lodge at Torrey Pines and had a outstanding breakfast with an incredible view. We will be staying there next trip.
Cons: The one thing I disnt like was for our taking an hour to get ready and they have to give us another room. Also, I think I was charged different from what was on the bill I got from the hotel.
Pros: Private and quiet. Great pool and spa.
Pros: Reception was very nice. Decor is nice. Room was clean, set up nicely. All updated.
Cons: To no fault of the hotel, it's a drive to restaurants and shopping. Parking at the hotel is quite expensive, run by a separate company.

Cons: We left the room at 12:10 one day and they didn't clean the room that day
Pros: Decor and quality towels sheets and entry.
Cons: Parking expenses
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Workout room had plenty of equipment. Pool was small but refreshing. Price seemed like a bargain, until learning...
Cons: Parking was $28 per day. Internet was $13 a day ($17 for fast). Rooms with two beds had double beds, not queens like other hotels. We originally booked one room with two beds but ended up getting a second room so our adult children would be comfortable. We spent more than twice what we expected. And then they over-changed us for parking, so we had to get that corrected. The hotel was fine but the price and experience were less than great.
Cons: I was given a handicap room that smelled like wet dogs and my socks were covered with dog hair! I had to call maintenance to come fix the toilet as well.
Pros: It was excellent I will stay ther any time
Pros: Previously to my arrival I dealt with Ms. Adela Prada (reception) and Mr. Siamak Nassirpour (manager). They were responsive, attentive, kind and efficient and they resolved satisfactorily all the issues I had.
Cons: The room was a little bit small.
Cons: Every ammenity cost money. For example, the ad for the hotel advertises Wifi but to get this feature in the room you must pay $12.95 a day.
Pros: Location to UCSD and easy access to North SD attractions. Plenty of eateries within close distance of hotel. Staff was super friendly and as promised got us a noon check-in.
Cons: Thumbs down on $25 parking
Pros: Close to UCSD campus.
Cons: I prefer Marriott hotels cause I have silver membership. This particular hotel staff was unfriendly, slow and insulting intellectually. I prepaid my two days stay and called the hotel the day before and asked for two queen beds. still on arrival rudely I was told that Queen bed rooms were all sold out.
At check out waited 20 minutes in the room and ended up carrying everything ourselves. Given excuse was they were very busy. Very snob attitude. No one apologizing. Do not recommend.
Pros: There for a wedding; venue, food and staff were great. Nice they had small frig and a little coffeemaker in room. There are some small shops and eateries (i.e. Einsteins Bagels) nearby. Room was nice. Bar was nice and open late. Pet friendly, lots of dogs around if you like dogs. Good gym, and pool was nice and warm.
Cons: $25/day parking, and $12/day for wifi (think free wifi if you reserve as rewards member). Luckily there is some street parking 2 blocks away on weekends (otherwise 2 hr 8-6) and some all day on Lajolla Village Dr. Location was in a business park area so wouldn't want to stay there except for an event.
Pros: Upgrade to a balcony room w/seating area
Cons: No working lights on the balcony, so we didn't go outside
Pros: Room was very nice, hotel staff very pleasant. location was pretty close to La Jolla shores which was a big bonus!
Cons: $25 a night parking, making you pay $12 a day for internet... my phone is cheaper than that, no free breakfast, no hot tub, no sauna, the gym was very basic. Pretty disappointing paying premium price for everything but getting basic hotel features the holiday inn down the street would have offered.

Pros: The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were all there for a friends wedding and they were so accommodating. The rooms were clean and nice and the pool area was great!
Cons: Jennifer at the Front Desk was horrible. The room smelled like month balls. We called down to change rooms, she placed us on hold then the line disconnected, she did not call us back or even answer the phone until the 4th attempt not ring. finally when she answered she said casually im still trying to find a room and put us back on hold. the experience with this Front Desk agent was extremely poor.
Pros: Everything was clean and maintained, the fire-lit driveway while pulling in at night is charming. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Being charged $30/night to park at a hotel you're already paying to stay at is ridiculous. Paying anything to park for that matter is just dumb, classless and uninviting. The hotel had a small pool, but we would have preferred a hot tub to soak in after being at the beach during the day.

Cons: No ice, charge you an extra $20 per day for parking, not very clean, small bathroom
Pros: The location was amazing, the views from the rooftop patio were unbelievable.th
Cons: The facilities seemed dated. Inside the room had some 70's decor.
Cons: SMALL ROOM, TIRED WITH RUST IN THE BATHROOM.
INADEQUATE HEATING AND AIR. EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT WE GOT
Pros: Location, location, location!
Breakfast and being served on roof excellent.
Staff above average.
Little balcony overlooking the park/ocean very nice.
Cons: Doors absolutely slam hard when just closed normally. Unbelievably loud. Disturbs sleep at night as people come in from late activities and in the AM when others are getting up and on their way early.
Rooms very outdated and not kept up well at all. Screens torn, towel rack fell out of the wall, stains om couch, etc
No air conditioning and we happened to be there during warmer than normal period so the room was too warm, and effected sleep.
Pros: The location, view, complimentary strawberry waffles, staff, salt pool and kitchenette,
Cons: paying for parking, elevators not working, small bathroom counters and musty
