Give me a price from the beginning with a seat assignment."

Assuming no issues I went to airport to find out it was canceled. I did not receive an explanation. I waited in line for two hours before speaking to a representative. Was made to feel like it was my fault I hadn't worked things out while waiting in line-"didn't you receive an email!?" I was told no other options except to leave the next day. I pulled up many other flights out of Venice that would get me home in time and was told that there simply were no other options. The real explanation was that Swiss didn't want to pay out to get me home in time. I had to pay more money to get back into the city rather than sit in airport for 12 hours."

At no point in the booking process, when I paid over $800 for the trip, was I told that I needed a specific travel visa (Canadian ETA) to fly back into Toronto for my return flight. Subsequently when I checked in for my flight yesterday morning in Manchester, England, I did not have the required travel documents and had to be rerouted onto a flight into the U.S. at a cost to me of $350. The rerouted flight got me to Washington Dulles airport, where I then had to purchase a second flight to get me home to Cleveland, Ohio, at an additional/extra cost of $450. MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"

When boarding, I like to see when passengers are called in groups relating to distant seats in the plane such that they do not step over each other during luggage placement. That is more comfortable than let the crowd enter randomly. 2. I notice people enter the cabin with 2, even 3 pieces of luggage. Even though each one has proper dimensions, they overload the overhead compartments and it is hard for everybody to place his/her belongings in a suitable way. 3. The rows in the airplane seems to have gotten closer ti each other. It is not the airlines fault, except perhaps when choosing whose airplanes to buy...but again, there are only two major contenders in that segment. For overseas flights, it is pretty uncomfy. 4. Lastly, unboarding the plane could also be performed (enforced by the crew) to be in a more civil fashion rather than haveing5 a stampedo - again calling separate grouos of rows in the name of fairness, or simply vacating it row by row from the front to back."

You feel like the airline has shrunk the seats to as small as possible, food is scarce and bad, entertainment choices are limited, and you have to pay for headphones. My recent experience with Austrian Air was just the opposite. Seats were comfortable, leg room was good, entertainment options were plentiful and free, the food was actually surprisingly good for airplane food, and the flight attendants were extremely nice and responsive. As an added bonus - red and white wine were free on the flight and both were actually quite delicious! Finally, our flight was smooth and on time. I wil go out of my way to book my next international flight on Austrian Air - it was a clearly superior experience than flying coach on nearly any other airline."

I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Cons: "It was really unclear which desk to use at Birmingham airport to check in. It was extremely stressful for a first time flier as I had no idea what to do - the desk location wasn't marked clearly and when no staff were there it wasn't clear that the desk was open."

Cons: "KLM had bumped us to a later flight for no reason and again we had to call with a long wait to get our original connection restored, However, we did not get boarding passes during checking in Europe and thus had to go outside security in Detroit to the main check-in gate and wait 30 minutes to get the error resolved. Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

In Rome had to check in & go through security at Terminal 5 then get bussed to Terminal 3. Only airport where we had to take out all electronics, including converter plugs, headphones, etc, place in a flimsy clear plastic bag ( that broke ) to go through security. Line to check bags pretty slow for number of passengers. Glad we had plenty of time."

In fact, most of the passengers didn't have masks on their mouth and nose. Many of them didn't have them at all. Crew didn't care. If this is how LOT pays attention to our health during travel, I will definitely not fly with them anymore. 2 months earlier flying with Lufthansa and all crew was very strict about the rules and everybody on board was wearing a mask."

I booked the flight and then they canceled it, i tried changing the dates but the website was giving me an error so i called them, after being on the phone for 2 hr some guy answered who seemed very tired and not thrilled working for LOT. Rood and not helpful, told me to try FB messenger and online changing again. Failed to get a voucher, refund or change the dates online, was still getting an error. on messenger they answered and told me i can get a voucher, i told them i don't want it and after that they stopped replying all together. good thing i got my money back by filing a dispute with my CC company."

Pros: "My seat didnt have much room in front of me and I really missed the maps option on the TV screen in front of me. I really liked having a USB port so I could charge my phone."

Cons: "1st, neither seat that I selected when checking in were given to me. 2nd both aircraft took off late for no apparent reason. 3rd When waiting to board in Warsaw, I was almost bitten by a large pit pull that a passenger was bringing into the cabin as a comfort animal. When I and several other passengers question the desk at the gate about the bringing a large vicious dog into the plane, we were told they were to busy to deal with us even though they were just standing there doing nothing. I have never seen such rudeness towards passengers as I did at that gate. I will take a ship across the Atlantic before I go through Warclaw again."

Pros: "I went from Belgrade to WAW and then to Chicago. The flight from Belgrade was delayed by almost two hrs which made out flight to Chicago delyed as well. This was my first time flying with LOT and so far so good. I think the flights from WAW are delayed bcz of the other flights coming into WAW are delyed and since there are only one international flight a day they wait for these flights to arrive so they can take off. This is what happened in my case. The crew was very nice. I traveled with two small children and they were very helpful. I would def flight with LOT again"

I bought I would be proactive and pay for the baggage for my return(only 20 euros). I received only a receipt for the 20 euros, but paid 63,250 drams. Something is shady and I feel duped. The flight was over an hour late with no explanation. There was a plane at the gate when we landed, which added to the tardiness of arrival. They were so non Chalant about so many people missing their connecting flights. It was like they already knew they were going to put us on Lufthansa 2 hours later... polish airlines Is awful- the airport personnel even worse. No one respects standing in line. Airport officials kept cutting into the security lines which literally cost me the 5 minutes that I could have made the flight. I am very diasspointed and kayak should not advertise this airline."

Pros: "Crew was friendly, cabin was as expected. Luggage arrive safely and on time (was a little worried it would not show, because online checkin said I had to pick up luggage and recheck before flight) (Virgin tagged it to go all the way through). So did not gav any issue."

Economy seats are very cramped so it's an uncomfortable and probably not healthy experience for that long. The flight delay meant that there was high stress in Warsaw to make the connecting flight. Why transit passengers need to be subjected to security checks and clearance I do not understand. We have just got off an international flight - transit passengers surely aren't combined with new passengers who have not been through security in Warsaw."

When I addressed one crew member he was not only occupied watching something in his phone but responded plain rudely to me. Its quite obvious that on the airplane the crew is working. Ukrainian airlines was offering the same trip cheaper but I decided to take LOT. Also I was surprised that I had to pay my luggage in my fly back. Next time I'll try Ukrainian airlines"

Pros: "I am not sure where to start from but each lot employee I talk with had poor English and not the tinyest willing to help just to move , I had a flight back from cezh republic to JFK with a stop in Warsaw When I got to the front desk in the air port to print my ticket the Liady ( work at Sation 236 ) was very rude and anti costumer service she print me only my first fly ticket and when I ask why she " I don't know " I said ok so when u get there you know which get I go or where I will print the other ticket she say I don't know Ok and then I ask her can u check if it a room I. My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

Pros: "I wasn't late I was running in the airport to couch the flight & they close the bordering they didn't let me in & I have to pay extra ticket & staying in the airport for 20 hours I lost my laggegg they found it after 3 hours. It's really bad. U give us 30 minutes to cotch other flight. I lost money & I lost my vocation because this application it's really bad I felt for the first time I'm Gypsy homeless."

Cons: "They didn't start boarding until 5 minutes before take off and this was just onto the bus that would take us to the airplane. There was no communication why they were running so far behind. Once we landed in Warsaw, we sat on the plane for around 20 minutes waiting for them to bring the bus to pick us up and remove our luggage from underneath. I had a connecting flight I would have missed if it wasn't delayed. They also had the door open while waiting and the heat and humidity was pretty stifling with everyone already standing up waiting to disembark."

Cons: "LOT planes were late to both directions to the place and 2 weeks later from the place. When we flew with my little daughter - toddler to the destination the plane was late and as a result we were late to another plane, so they sent us to the same destination country but to the different place and then I had to find out were to go further while our luggage was lost (found in 3 days). When we flew back, the plane was late once again and I was told that we might will be left until next day morning, so lots of nervous and stress. The food provided was very poor as well - basically just small chocolate bar and water, tea or coffee, so if you are hungry it would not really help you."

Cons: "Cheap airline that is priced like a major airline. They charge for checked in luggage on flights between different EU countries. Major airlines don't do that, so check the fine print before purchasing."

Pros: "Relatively new aircraft with not-bad room between the rows. Water, coffee and tea offered gratis, otherwise pay for snacks, but prices not bad. Good flight for a budget airline. Twi toilets for a full plane a bit ridiculous, but the flight was only 2 1/2 hours, so no big lines."

Cons: "The flight was delayed an hour. The crew in the Kiev airport wouldn't allow check-ins for a long period of time. Many people stood in a long line for at least an hour with no information about why they couldn't check in. When we did check in, they couldn't print my wife's boarding pass for the next flight and told us that we would have to print it at the gate. We found out in Poland that she was missing an eTA number necessary for her to fly into Canada. With the flight delay and lack of information, the application did not process in time, and we missed our connecting flight. As a result, we were stuck in Poland for 24 hours, leading to lost sleep, added expense, and much frustration."

Cons: "No new movies or no tv shows to watch on a 9hr flight. If I knew I would have downloaded movies on my phone or on a usb stick(u have the possibility of using those). Horrible food, cannot even describe! No free alcohol. If you pay cash for the alcohol you end up paying double as if you pay with Credit card. I paid for 3 drinks, were brought only 2 and when I asked for the 3rd one they didn't understand what I want. Crew speaks only polish, they have little knowledge of English language. They are not helpful and they don't care about passengers! Delays on every flight, Friday LOT airline doesn't have to many flights out of Warsaw! Be aware, in the event of a delay and loosing your connecting flight you might end up spending a night in Warsaw. I WILL NEVER USE LOT AGAIN and I will make sure to spread the word!!!"

Actually, economic tickets (as mine) should have allowed for trips in Europe a checked in luggage according to the company website. I do not find any information regarding how I can pay for my luggage in advance, and not at the airport."

Cons: "1. I was never told my ticket didn't include a free checked bag. I checked twice on LOT's website and it said I was allowed one. When I got to the airport at Krakow, the less than professional staff told me that my ticket was the kind that didn't include. I said I was never given the option to get a ticket with/without a bag for free and they basically told me I was lying. I didn't feel like arguing and paid for the bag. Kayak didn't mention or made me aware of my "kind" of ticket. Either Kayak makes consumers aware of this or LOT shouldn't be posting their flights on Kayak. 2. I flew Eurolot, "A partner of LOT" and not LOT. It should also be CLEAR what it is one is flying."

Pros: "Boarding was relatively quick"
Cons: "After the first hour when food/drinks were handed out, the cabin crew (Economy) seemed to disappear entirely to the back of the plane and spend the rest of the flight chatting with each other until the final meal just before landing. I don't expect champagne service in Economy but the flight attendants could have been more proactive in walking down the aisles occasionally rather than just when handing out meals. If you needed a drink the best option was to head to the back of the plane and pour it yourself. In fact, most of the passengers did precisely this!"
