We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

I think the check in app captures all the info needed so well that when you drop your bag, my passport was checked and that was it. Done in 3 minutes. Flight is only 80 minutes and drink and snack offered."

Our luggage didn’t make the connection and hoping that all our precious cargo from our anniversary trip made it. The flight attendant told us we had enough time to make it to our next flight but I honestly ran from one point of the airport to the other. The staff said it wasn’t that far and no checkpoints to go through - this information was false."

Because the flight was booked through a secondary company, rebooking the outgoing flight ended upp: a) costing me as much as the whole original return flight; b) was no longer a 1 stop flight as I also had to stop in Frankfurt plus the company would not allow me to choose directly, I sent them details and then they booked what they could find; and c) I lost both the outgoing flight ( which was charged) and the return flight ( which was not changed) premium seat bookings both of which I had to pay for a second time. If I had booked directly with the airline this would have cost a transfer fee and I would not have lost the premium seat bookings. This was therefore a great expense and inconvenience. I will no longer book flights indirectly when using kayak. In future I will search using google flights and then go straight to the airline sites to book. Very disappointed. I never had this problem when booking with kayak before"

We, on the queue waited for 15 minutes for a new person to return. When it was my turn to check in the process took no more tan 30 seconds whilst for others it had taken 10 minutes and more. Dreadful experience. The choice of entertaining films was limited on my flight; normally AC has a wide choice."

Pros: "Air Canada is a respectable airline but the plane is not spacious at all. I mean, yes you pay for what you get, but damn the aircraft seats are so small. Then for people taking the morning flight, who probably haven’t eaten breakfast, you give them a measly omelet with a nasty side of spinach ? for the entire flight ? and a measly bag of pretzels ? Your starving the people which isn’t nice at all. Getting through baggage and getting in the flight was quite smooth and the air hosts were excellent. Entertainment was ok, there’s way to many Asian inspired films on there that I find are uninteresting, but hey, to each his own. Now coming back however was far better, the food was good, although can we stop putting soggy food into the mix, I know the food is premade but the mash potato is always so soggy and the vegetable mix has no flavour. Drinks are always great on the flight, entertainment was the same, hosts were great, pilot knows how to fly the plane, thank goodness, and overall it was a good flight back. Make the tiny adjustments I suggested and you’ll be at the top of your game Air Canada ! Merci !"

Cons: "All the movies were the same as they were A month ago... and that selection was lousy. The little girl who sat behind me kicked my seat for 7 hours despite my askiing her the times to stop. Thank goodness it was a day flight."

Cons: "Old plane even though we upgraded to first class it was just bigger seats no entertainment cold draft just horrible felt like we were flying back in the 80s. Lastly our luggage didn't come with our flight it came with the next flight. Horrible horrible experience"

Pros: "1. We booked seats together then when I checked in they had moved my seat and we were no longer sitting together. And then I couldnt get the window seat I had paI'd for :( 2. No boarding announcement and the "gate" was under construction so was a madhouse to board. 3. The crew member put her sweater in my food and pushed the coffee so hard to the person next to me it spilled all over him. To be fair she did apologize for throwing coffee on him. 4. The TV screens were so old you had to push the "touch" screen so your headrest kept moving if the person behind you couldn't decided what to watch... and then hard to watch anything yourself. The food was nasty."
Cons: "See above. I didn't like anything, this might have been the worst flight I've ever had to Brussels. I thought I booked a European carrier, but ugh it was actually United. They only care about business class and first class."

Pros: "In Chicago (where we were rerouted), the gate agent let my party and me board early to ensure that my guitar would have overhead space."
Cons: "The crew in Newark didn't hold our plane to Seattle, which we missed by minutes. No one took responsibility, and it was a chore to walk a ways and actually find the kiosk where United agents would rebook our flights. I don't understand why we had to go to another location for this."

Pros: "We got there safely and on time."
Cons: "Bathrooms too small and unsanitary. Sick people on board spreading germs. Headphones fall out of kids ears. Airplane too cold. Food not good. Bread is terrible. Wasteful packaging and serving of food. Nowhere to throw away trash. Bad timing and content of meals based on final destination."

Pros: "It was a short flight and everything went fine after our initial delay."
Cons: "We were never notified of the gate change and had to stand by a monitor for updates"

Cons: "Not having a pilot. Being in new orleans airport for 8 hours before leaving due to no pilot Missing my original connection flightgetting back"

Pros: "The crew was nice and professional. But it is a small plane and there isn't much they can do to help increase comfort or food choices."
Cons: "It's a small plane to travel 2.5 hours but I understand demand for flights plays a big role in the type of plane that you use."

Cons: "We were at the counter 57 min before flight. They would not consider letting us on the flight even though no one else was in line. My father had a heart attack and i was trying to get home. Zero bending the rules."

Cons: "Flight was canceled due to not enough staff and it caused me to miss out on money and I wasted my time because I was not informed until 7hours later"

Cons: "Major delays at Chicago O Hare, little to no communication. Passengers were not told what was going on, or the reasoning for our plane being so late. 3 hour delay boarding, and also sat on runway for another 1.5 hours before takeoff. Once landed in Dayton, could not pull up to a gate for another 45 minutes. So much wasted time. I purposely picked an early flight so I could have more time with my family. Had to cancel my family dinner plans that night due to an extra 5 hours wasted."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled due to the weather. I had to stay at the hotel with my parents and then fly next day. I had 11 bags and was told that United can't hold bags in airport so I had to take them to the airport. I paid twice for my luggage . I paid about $700 as a sequence for the flight delay."

Cons: "My son ( a minor) was held over in Denver airport for over 12 hours because of delays and cancellations. Not once did your United crew or service workers offer him a meal voucher. This is absolutely wrong. This was my son's first flight alone and he also could not find any venders open to buy food. I will NEVER fly United again and will tell all friends and relatives about your inconsideration to minor passengers who are too shy to ask for help.!"
