Pros: I originally booked the windowless, basement room which I thought was just as lovely as the other rooms but then I got upgraded to one of the best rooms in the hotel; on the 7th floor with a view of The Strand and the London skyline. The room was bigger than your typical Central London hotel, has a kitchen complete with dishwasher, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and an induction hob! The bed was one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. The room design was quite modern too-- cute and has the essentials. I'll definitely come back!

Cons: we had to evacuate because of water damage and the staff and general manager handled the situation terribly. we had to come up with a solution instead of them providing us with one. we waited for over 5 hours. everybody was stressed and left confused. i would have expected them to sort things out a lot quicker and manage an emergency situation adequately.

Cons: Quite expensive. Stupid lighting and heating controls; unintelligible symbols on a touch screen which even if one could understand them are unreadable in the dark without glasses. Which one can't find in the dark.... Bring back the light switch!

Pros: The Savoy is an incredible Hotel! It's close to everything and even has a theatre attached to it. The American Bar was truly amazing and the drinks were inventive and delicious! It was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again! Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Cons: Staff were disorganised and forgot my room requests yet again! Have spent numerous nights staying here over the years and the service and staff have gotten worse each time I stay here, I asked for my desert to be sent to the room and they didn't bother and still charged me for it after dinner, I will not be returning again the cost is far to much for a very sub standard hotel that claims it is 5star, you are better off staying at a four seasons where they know how to truly give good service

Cons: I didn't like the perfume pumped through the air-con in the corridors and bedrooms. Infact we had to be moved as I suffer from asthma and it was effecting my breathing to a none perfumed floor (5) and room. The corridors are too dark, felt like a ship..

Cons: The desk chair legs (room 633) stuck out and the tight quarters meant that my toes got smashed. I humbly suggest a different chair. I know that space is limited but having a lounge w/ desks or couches (not part of the restaurant) would be nice.

Pros: The location is excellent. Right next to Charring cross underground station. 10 min walk to the west end, 5 mins to Trafalgar square. 20 mins to Buckingham palace and the houses of parliament. Our executive room was nice, the complimentary mini bar in the fridge was good - don't get too excited, there was no alcohol. A coop is a 5 minute walk, so is a 5 guys and McDonalds.

Pros: The location is excellent. Right next to Charring cross underground station. 10 min walk to the west end, 5 mins to Trafalgar square. 20 mins to Buckingham palace and the houses of parliament. Our executive room was nice, the complimentary mini bar in the fridge was good - don't get too excited, there was no alcohol. A coop is a 5 minute walk, so is a 5 guys and McDonalds.
Cons: The gap under the main door was large and let in quite a draft. We were in room 3105. Our toilet roll holder cover was broken which was annoying. What was equally annoying was the placement of the hand towel holder, it was right next to the toilet roll holder which made it very awkward to use.

Cons: There are NO American Outlets anywhere, and I understand that yes I am in the UK and they don't have the same voltage as in the States, but EVERY hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Europe has had at least ONE American Outlet. The outlets are no where near mirrors. So even if you packed an outlet converter, you wouldn't be able to see yourself do your hair. CFL lighting instead of LED, which take a long time to warm up and are not as bright. Instead of having One Strong WIFI Network, they had over a dozen WEAK Ones. You had to constantly re-connet to Wifi because the signal would go out. We spent majority of the time reconnecting between 3 different Citadines Wifis. The bathtub/shower is so high off the ground, you have to physically climb into it, and careful not to fall out. I almost fell out completely one, but thankfully my boyfriend caught me in time. Our in room fridge creaked and moaned all hours of the night, and soon became part of our nightly sleep, Given the Opportunity, I would NOT stay here again.

Cons: We booked 2 rooms with queen beds, plus a double pull-out couch...plenty of beds for a family of 5. When we checked in, we were given two rooms with queen beds only. The staff worked to fix the issue, but I still don't think that we got what we paid for.

Cons: At 2am somebody entered our room! My wife awoke immediately in absolute panic, feeling threatened and shouted at the person, who obviously realised the "mistake" and left the room. It was explained that the hotel had thought the room was empty and that is why somebody else had been given a key and entered our room at 2am. A complimentary breakfast was offered as recompense, which of course we accepted, but for the sleepless night thereafter and the black mark on our Valentines break away, it was not something to particularly enjoy.

Cons: The room was so small I nearly knocked the tv off the wall when walking from the bed to the bathroom. There wasn't a dresser to put my clothes in, and if I were to use the folding stand to place my suitcase I literally would not have been able to move around. Airconditioning was adequate for my room, but the hallways were hot, and the lobby was uncomfortably warm. Carpets were dark and dingy. I had tech problems with the wifi, something others were having as well, but there wasn't anyone at the hotel who could adequately solve the problem.

Cons: The rooms were old and extremely dirty. The carpets and furniture were covered in stains. Also I tried two different room and both had weird smells. Finally, the hotel is right in the center of a high volume neighborhood and this very noisy.

The locations was perfect, close to everything, Waterloo Bridge, theatres, grocery shops, great pubs, ... Excellent for my sightseeing and exploring needs. No Aircon, has heaters and fan. Costs were very reasonable.

Cons: My girlfriend and I did not sleep extremely well there due to the lack of AC during the summer when it was 75 degrees Fahrenheit outside and along with the lack of support in the bed. The bed looks like it is nice and fluffy but when you sit down on it, it sank drastically.

It’s a small venue, but sensitively adapted as a hotel from original Georgian ( I think) town houses. The rooms are well appointed, beds are comfortable and although there is no on site restaurant, there are many good eating places nearby. There isn’t a lift, so if stairs are likely to be a problem, do ask when you book if you can have a ground floor room. The staff are always willing to do what they can to cater for accessibility.

Cons: Overall it seems that the hotel needs an update. There aren't many facilities that are included, the room was very basic with nothing extra included. The interior on the photos of booking.com look really nice and bright, but in actuality the property is a bit run down. I was expecting it to be a bit more fancy for the cost and photos.

Cons: When we ran our sink in the room it didn’t drain away and dirt came up and didn’t go away. I also couldn’t have a shower in the evening on the Friday as water was too hot and my friend had a cold shower in the morning. Also the heating wasn’t working on one of the nights and as the room doesn’t have double glazing you can hear a lot especially the chimes every hour so sleep not great.
