So I was very surprised that this room was recently modernized and quite nice and clean, although still small. There was renovation going on during my stay but the crew was very courteous and quiet. Tea for two at the hotel was 32 pounds ($50) and they gave us one pot of tea, one scone, 3 tea sandwiches, and four tiny pastries. When we asked for more tea they just put more hot water in our tea pot. We finally complained when we saw that a couple next to us got two scones, but we had to go thru the manager and our meal was over by then and we were full from drinking hot water. We knew we would pay a premium by having tea at the hotel but we were tired from our travels and were disappointed that the staff was so inattentive.

Pros: I expect the level of quality when I come to a Hilton hotel. I am pleased that this hotel lived up to that standard. It's a great location especially if you are coming from or going to Heathrow airport.
Cons: I booked my stay not directly through Hilton and as a result, I did not get Hilton honors points. If you allow a non-Hilton company to offer your product you should also offer everything that goes with it.

Tea for two at the hotel was 32 pounds ($50) and they gave us one pot of tea, one scone, 3 tea sandwiches, and four tiny pastries. When we asked for more tea they just put more hot water in our tea pot. We finally complained when we saw that a couple next to us got two scones, but we had to go thru the manager and our meal was over by then and we were full from drinking hot water. We knew we would pay a premium by having tea at the hotel but we were tired from our travels and were disappointed that the staff was so inattentive.

Now normally this wouldn't have bothered me but we had a window that wouldn't close properly so was quite noisy. Also a lot of doors bangin on our floor most of the night so a very noisy night indeed. It's a shame because we stayed at this hotel before and we had a fantastic room but this time wasn't the best.

Pre-programed on the phone were maps of the tube system and sights of the city.

After complaining multiple times to the front desk they did their best to keep the people above us from being too noisy. With two young kids it wasn’t conducive to getting them to bed. We paid almost £1000 for 4 nights. I expected a little more from the amenities (free breakfast maybe?). Overall the hotel did what we needed it to do but for the money I think it could have been better

In the lobby, the customer service was world class.
Cons: Our room was in the Tower, an older part of the hotel. I specifically booked Hilton because I wanted excellent quality beds and a room comfortable for my elderly mother. The room was tiny, with a dangerously high step into and out of the combination bath/shower. The beds were of poor quality with creaky springs. The mini fridge did not work.
This is acceptable for a budget tourist hotel, but this room severely degrades the Hilton Brand. It should not be sold under the Hilton flag. My mother and I independently compared the room to a Motel 6. If you stay here, request a room in the newer portion of the hotel. Hopefully it's better.

Pros: Overall, as a 20-something, using this as a cheap place to sleep for the night while seeing London this worked for me and allowed me to spend my travel money on the things I wanted to do. The hostel does provide breakfast, and a 10% off discount for anything you order at the bar (burger and a beer is normally 15 pounds, so you get that for 13.50). The staff was friendly, and the bedding was clean in the hostel. The showers had warm water and seemed to be cleaned on a somewhat regular basis. The bar area is open to you 24 hours a day, though the kitchen closes at 10 and the bar closes to the public at midnight.
Beyond that, you can't beat the location in terms of it being a launching point for getting around the city. You are on several bus lines and three different tube lines. You are also only a mile's walk from Hyde park on a main road that is well lit, even at night.

Cons: First off, if you are a light sleeper, don't choose this hostel. It is on a highly-used road and the windows will be open in the room. If you wake up at every horn or siren, you will not have a good time sleeping here. In addition to that, the larger rooms have 24 people, so you can expect them to be coming and going at all hours, some quietly, some not (which also means your experience is not 100% on the hostel staff). Bar noise was non-existent, so don't worry about that.
The breakfast was a bit of a zoo, and a bit of a disappointment. They had loaves of bread with a toaster (butter and jam), some cereal and milk. There was also tea and coffee. It was pretty well picked over by 8:15, and the staff was too busy cleaning the bar to replace anything. To that end, the staff in the hostel always seemed to be stretched too thin. People are working the hostel front desk and the bar at the same time. They are not mean about it, but if you catch it wrong, you can end up waiting a bit to be helped. There were also a few people who were sleeping in the hallway at times, though I was not sure if they were just too drunk to remember their passcodes or had snuck in. Also, I never saw any semblance of a manager for either the bar or the hostel (not that I ever needed one).
The cleanliness of the rooms and the bathrooms left something to be desired, the rooms especially. Though I didn't spend much time in them, there was usually some crumbs / scraps of wrappers on the floor, which did not feel clean even when those larger pieces of rubbish were not there. This comes back to you experience being tied to the people you are in the room with however. In particular, there was one person who's luggage smelled like a college student's laundry bin that had been left to sit during the winter break, in-short, really bad.
My final warning would be that there are not a lot of power outlets in the rooms, and there are only two bathrooms to accommodate 50+ people, as opposed to 4 showers.

Cons: Queens Park Hotel is simply the worst Hotel that I have been to. When I checked in, they assigned me a room between 2 floors, where I could barely fit my carry on bag and a large bag. After a complaint, they gave me a somewhat larger room. However, everything in the room was old, it was stinky, and uncomfortable. Furthermore, it did not have A/C, which was needed. When I wanted to purchase the wifi service, they told me that it was not working.
I would never recommend Queens Park Hotel to anybody.

The towels are good, the water pressure I exceptional. If you get the breakfast included take advantage of it, the breakfast is very hardy.

The shower was dirty, there was mold in the bathroom, one of the lights was dangling out of the fixture, and the carpets all had weird stains. I was on the top floor close to the elevator and could hear a clunking noise from the elevator every time it was used. With so many hotels in the area at comparable rates, there has to be one better than this.

Cons: The hallways were very narrow and shabby, I mean really shabby with peeling wallpaper, and dings and dirt. The mattresses were uncomfortable, the toilet wouldn't flush unless you pumped the handle as if on a waterwell. The window did not lock. The walls were paper thin and you could hear the noises from the other rooms and the hallway. The elevator was slow and the stairs narrow and awkward.
I chose it because everything else was extremely expensive and I would stay there again if I have to. If you prefer more comfortable accommodations, this is not a hotel for you though.

Pros: Very friendly staff at this cozy little hotel. Right off Hyde Park and easy access to the tube make this location ideal. Safe and comfortable.
Cons: The tiny, slow lift that fits one person with a bag, or two without is a challenge. Rooms are small and a bit creaky, but the bed was very comfy.

Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent. It is easy to reach by public transit, and is right by Hyde Park, which is lovely. The staff were friendly when we first checked in.
Cons: Our toilet in our room didn't work. We asked about it each of the 3 days, and they did nothing. We ended up having to use the public restaurant toilets, which were below the first level (we were on the 3rd floor). Our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Then, on the last day, the internet stopped working. We called the front desk and they said they were working on it. Still didn't work the next day, so we couldn't check in for flights/call Uber. For all of these issues, the staff did not seem to be apologetic or offer any solitons. In the end, we were very disappointed by our stay.
