Center location Rooms must be ready much before 2 pm.
Nice room, excellent service, quality casino.
Excellent location, nice hotel, but not top rate. Room service breakfast was a bit poor considering price, small details missing for a hi calibre place.
Well we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Mayfair and the staff could do more for us. We come back to our room to find a complimentary bottle of bubbly and chocolates, such a great supprize for both myself and the wife. Would we stay again definitely 100%.
Location. deluxe room spacious and well appointed. Too noisy. impossible to sleep well.
Excellent staff. Very helpful concierge. A hopping, "in" place.
very friendly staff, great bar and good food
the position of the hotel and not much else not much other than some of the staff. Having stayed at the Helmsley Park Lane I just could not compare the two establishments,
The Hotel was well located and the rooms were modern with all amenities.
Attention and concern of staff is excellent, especially Anna breakfast hostess in Amba room. Serving staff uneven although Nadia v nice and accommodating too. Hotel overwhelmed by the world travel convention, on all fronts that kind of capacity is hard for the whole 'factory' that is the hotel to function. Eelevators slow, rooms seem tired, and what seemed appropriate three years ago now seems tired and yes, a little rundown.

I loved the kingsize bed
Was a very good stay and the room was perfect. The location is perfect and the lcd tv in the room is amazing Everytime i tried calling the concierge they never picked up
The location and the high standard
excellent service from all staff, good lively bar, and good rooms. excellent central ocation.
the whole thing hotel was lovely the rooms staff the decor everything was nice choice of food and drink was great cocktails were amazing we wil def be looking to stay again in near future. was our friends birhday and they went out of there way and made occassion special cant wait to visit again
Everything. Its the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in.
The hotel is very beautiful, confortable and the staff very nice and helpful. The location is perfect for a stay in London, long or short. Very, very clean!
Of course as always staff courtesy and the overall service is the main reason for us to stay at this hotel, despite the unpleasant experiences we had this "time only" with some of the reception staff upon our arrival which I will mention in the other Box. We are a regular customers and we know the level of services of this hotel however, we were totally shocked by the low service offered by your Supervisor at reception area Mr Sabestaian which was way below expectation. If he continues there he will certainly cause more damages to hotel reputation, Hotel mgt should consider giving him more lessons on customer service. Ms Suzana was of the same Category!. The rest of staff at the reception and other places were absoloutely all stars.
The hotel is located close to restaurants, shops and is a short walking distance from excellent theatres. The hotel staff and facilities lived up to a five star experience you expect from the Langham reputation.
The Langham is an old fashioned 5 Star Hotel. In other words it deserves every one of the stars. Maybe it costs a bit more, but nothing is too much trouble and the staff are that great blend of friendliness and efficiency with not a hint of snobbery, which of course is a true sign of class. A great location and a real feel of opulence.
Very luxurious, extremely friendly staff and a probably the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. We were there for our wedding night and the hotel very kindly upgraded us to an executive suite. The fact the hotel manager had hand-written a (fairly lengthy) congratulations card, and left us some 'congratulations' sweets and cakes was also a very thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend for a treat or anyone looking for a bit of luxury in London.
The Location There was a queue for breakfast. Also it was difficult to understand the English spoken by the staff.
Room was very quiet, despite overlooking Leicester Square. Fabulous location - very central Bed was too small - needed to be longer & wider!
Location was excellent Rooms were not up to usual Radisson standards, Rooms were very small, bed was too short for tall people.
The hotel is located right in the centre of London, ideal for theatres and shopping and the staff were particularly friendly and helpful, Rather expensive !
location the lifts were awful
The way I was welcomed and treated by the staff was superb. The breakfast wasn't particularly tasty (a bit cheap) and coffee was watery.
Very helpful staff also in a fantastic position for restaurants and shows.
The courtesy of the staff was very good and one was made to feel nothing was a bother. The room was very comfortable. There was a fair amount of outside street noise in the room which took a night to get used to.
The service and kind staff. 1. We booked a junior suite with "great view over London" and added to our booking request that this view was of the essence. The junior suite did not have such a view and the staff told us that no junior suite has such a view. Other rooms do. We feel mislead because an important part of the reason why we booked an expensive hotel/room was the view. 2. The hotel did not answer any of our 3 e-mails over a period of 2 months. 3. We called the hotel in order to double check our reservation. The reservation was not found and the hotel would call us back. They did not so we had to call them back.
For those that wish to make the most of going out in London during the evening, the hotel is the ideal location.Staff were very welcoming, at time a little too much.
excellent staff, very keen to please building work very noisy, breakfast expensive
Quality modern room with a great rain shower. The beds were luxurious. Light switch was confusing. Need separate switch for the bathroom.
excellent hotel, fantastic location, all staff and services very professional!
We had a lovely week-end stay at the Sofitel London st James. The location is great, staff all very friendly .We had a really nice room and the bed was so comfortable.
Its position It is not true that airconditioning system is controlled from the room. Actutally the system is not strong enough when there is a very warm climate in uk.
There are many things that i loved. Amongst it all the location is outstanding. The staff is a ++ The beds are so comfortable Its is just a bliss from a to z It is a bit expensive and my room was more of a regular room than a superior room
Perfect location for New Year, everything in walking distance, close to Trafalgar Square, easy access to Embankment for fireworks and New Year day parade passed front door...not to mention the hotel festivities, plenty going on in a stylish, refined way. We were only there 24 hours but thanks to location, facilities, easy relaxed feel of the hotel it was the ideal intensive enjoyment hoped for.
Hotel design and great customer service as standard Bathroom toiletories are not to my taste
The staff were very accomodating. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. n/a
A very friendly hotel
Great location to National Gallery, Piccadilly Square, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and gardens. Contemporary style, very comfy bed, staff polite and helpful. Free "slow" internet in the room-it was fast enough! Rain shower head. The shower was a bit small so the splashing water would sometimes puddle on the floor. No other complaints!
Staff very good, great location and good value for money.
My stay was for just one night and for business use, but the 2 key factors for me were location and cleanliness. The checkout was poorly staffed.
close from shops and resturants I came early in the morning and there was no rooms available! they let me wait for more than one hour although I came from long distance trip! didnt give late check out!
Great location Hallway is dirty, room does not have tea/coffee maker, however when we asked they did bring us.
very central and comfortable...easy to reach public transport...rooms clean and comfy though a bit too small breakfast was expensive and pay TV did not work
I stay in this hotel at 3 time, but at that time my room was auful - all was broken and was very uncomfortable.
A great central location, yet quiet. Close to Oxford Street, convenient for shopping. Near tube station and city attractions/parks. Hotel staff not helpfull (We asked for info how to get to Luton airport and they sent us to the wrong train station. We almost missed our flight). Twin room was small for two people, internet connection and pay TV not working. Rather expensive (201 pounds/night excl. breakfast). Not really a five star hotel.
the most we like was the location in the centre the most accept the room and the lobby where very bad.chairs in the breakfast room was onacceptebel.the bar on the roof was very , very bad, while the price is a hilton price. no we nevr schould go back.we always are going to hilton in the world but this was the most bad hilton we ever saw.
Unfriendly personal; worn out hotel and a shame for the hilton group. Compared to the langham hilton where I stayed 2 nights before. This hotel is totally out of wack in price quality; Their web site is misleading.
The staff are very nice & helpful. The steps infront of the enterance gate which makes it a bit difficult for baby strollers.
Perfect location Probably it's time to invest in a new remote controls of the TV sets!
Stylishly minimalist, great shower, cool bar Dinner trolley not cleared
The lifts. The service. The availability of the garage. The conviviality of the bar areas (both the open & cosy bars). The dedication of your cleaning staff. The laundry service. The proportions. The corridor lighting. And, above all, the location. The lack of Internet access (the business centre was occasionally out of action). The limitations of the room service menu for vegetarians. The limited number of T.V. entertainment channels - without in-house films The lack of a bath. No fresh air. The painting on the ceiling of my room.
Very fashionable feel to the hotel , Bar was enjoyable , sleighbed lovely. Food was good at breakfast. Maybe toilet area. Lacks privacy
Our stay at The Sanderson was perfect from start to finish. I called ahead to let them know that we were coming to stay for my boyfriend's birthday. From upgrading us to a huge, gorgeous room to delivering balloons, flowers, candles, and birthday treats, they truly went above and beyond to make it an amazing weekend. We can't wait for our next visit!
The lobby, spa and bar are brilliantly designed. Most parts of the hotel are chic and the overall atmosphere is very charming. The rooms are impractically designed. No provision made to accomodate suitcases even. Too much insistence on style and little attention to comfort. Great to hang out at all parts of the hotel except your room where everything seems like a mess since there are no practical provisions made. Very little storage so all the stuff just lies around the floor; also not very child friendly.
General location was very good.Cleanliness was good No bar to have a drink with children over 18 had to be 21.Bar staff rude and ignorant. However, Bar manager was very considerate.Very trendy which was nice but thats where it ends i'm afraid. Would not book again.
The location was great. Room beautiful but things like complimentry water in the rooms, toilet paper too much of a production. Restaurant staff and front door/desk/concierge great. Gym staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Great gym tho. See above.
unique design bed was uncomfortable
I like the desing and the location
The bar, this was very busy and fun place to be
Wonderful design interiors. The food in the Malaysian restaurant was amazing and the cocktails at The Long Bar were innovative and delicious - if very pricey at £11 a shot Some of the towels in the room were not 100% clean
Very well placed Room too close to the lift and described as deluxe but given standard
Great location for access, very clean and in a very safe area with access to convient stores ,subway and shopping. We had booked a smoking room & even confirmed with hotel by phone but were very disappointed to find out none were available yet if we paid a premiumn we could obtain one. We found this very tacky along with the internet charges.
I liked the location, I could walk anywhere I needed to go. The restruant was usefu l didn't like the idea that I would be charged for moving anything in the mini bar.
Hotel staff on checkout were argumentative and unhelpful and slow to resolve problem. One lift was permanently out of order and there were no stairs.
The Location and the restuarant area Nothing, everything was good
Excellent location I booked 3 rooms at the price shown on the website but the hotel in all cases added vat and I had to apply for a refund.
they didnt give me deluxe room i booked and there is no benifets for this kind of rooms
Dated room, broken bed, broken kettle, broken bath
Clean Tv picture bad
The main plus hotel-location. Quiet place, close to Hyde Park and at the same time near the bustling shopping streets and restaurants. Excellent service, a small gym, good food. The windows of my room opens onto the roof of neighboring homes, where the noisy air conditioners, saving earplugs. There was a dressing gown, but no slippers.
Staff very helpful and pleasant. Location excellent. The "business centre" was not really one and a big disappointment - only a few computers with no privacy and no printer hookup. My husband was working on his laptop in our room and I was online finding flights etc down in the lobby. I had to sit at the concierge desk in order to have a printout done. Not at all convenient for all concerned with customers arriving in the reception area.
quiet, tidy, clean, quite spacious and convenient to take underground and near many places of interest
nice modern bathroom . good location . resturants are nearby. very nice area indoor winding corridors are dark, wooden noisy floors, many doors have to be crossed before reaching my room. very small room, barely can move inside.no place to put the suitcase. very poor TV reception and very limited choices of channels
It was a central location and the overall standard of the hotel was nice The receptionist ignored us for about 5 minutes, whilst she dealt with other things. Just an acknowledgement that we were waiting would have been nice. The room was very stuffy, with little natural light
Fabulous hotel. great staff and good location. Non
Excellent location. Very nice room decoration. Very good service. Very reasonable food price. I believe that this a very good 4 star London hotel if you consider London hotels' comfort quality and cost as benchmarks. Poor duvet cover. Small wardrobe. Although menu prices are very reasonable, breakfast is quite expensive.
Room was quiet, staff helpful. Internet connexion was bad
Terrific location. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. cool, funky vibe. small room (which I liked) The cool location also meant that it was occasionally hard to sleep it night with the noise from the busy street
The location was perfect for us. We were taking a weekend break to go to the theatre and shopping. We could walk out of the hotel straight onto the street surrounded by everything we wanted. We were amazed by the excellent use of space within the hotel. It was very compact but well thought through and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. The complimentary wine and cheese was a big plus for us too. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants location in the West End. A little noisy from the street at night but didn't matter too much as it was a leisure break and not business.
Location Location Location. Being in the center of town, I had the ability to stop off at Hotel Z to drop off bags, freshen up, take a break before moving on to next neighborhood on my itinerary. Tube stop directly to Heathrow a couple of blocks away made arriving and departing soooo easy. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Room was modern, quiet and clean. DEFINITELY plan on staying again. While I knew I had booked the smallest room, and was happy with it overall, the in ability to open a window for fresh air was a little frustrating. Issues with the a/c were promptly addressed, although an open window would of been a better solution. It was only because my stay was for 5 nights that this bothered me. Next visit I'll book a larger room with an open window. :-)
The best part of the hotel was it's location. It is located in a great part of London, a very busy part of London. The staff was pretty nice and there were always around to help. Well the worst part of the place was probably the size of the room and the bed. I knew my room would be tiny but for the price I paid it was crazy. The room could barely fit your luggage and yourself. A constant maneuvering around everything. The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept in. Want to know what it is like to sleep on a rock or the ground? Well come to this hotel to find out. This bed was so stiff I would wake up every morning in some sort of back pain. It was ridiculous that this is possible in a modern hotel. It's a budget hotel but seriously just get a slightly softer bed as this was ludicrous.
Location, center of London, near Piccadilly Circus. Easy to reach by Sub. Small room for this kind of hotel, no air conditionning. Price for English breakfeast too high.
Hotel staff Room size
Excellent breakfast, very kind personnell, very nice swimming pool. Location is excellent, very close to Buckingham Palace, Green Park, Regent Street, Oxford street. İt is in the heart of London. Building is facinating. Bathroom is very small. The room does not fit to 5 star hotel although it is very clean and has comfortable beds. The room is smaller than I expected.
Location is excelente!! Great to be able to have a swim in the morning. Rooms on the small side, although adequate. Breakfast was again adequate rather then excelente as would expect from this hotel.
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful Quite a lot of noise from outside late at night - sounded like work was going on close by
9th floor rooms are very bad.we asked to change the room to lower floor that was o.k.bathroom fittings are very old and smells and it is not woth spending so much money to stay in such a hotel.no place to sir in lobby.
great location, the club lounge was great with snacks most of the day, the pool, very big room windows were small and looked straight into the walls of another building so you could only just about see the sky and the room was very dark. bathrooms a little dated. One of the consigners was rather snooty and not very approachable
very friendly and relaxing breakfast was not good and expensive
The good location of the hotel. The window in the room was boarded up making it very dark.
swimming pool was great.such a great location. friendly staff. our room was quite small.noisy at night.service charge on a glass of wine nearlly £1!
Superb location, professional attitude, good rate. Room was warm [no A/C], and some how noisy from the surroundings and its location [adjacent to staff room].
The check-in process was a complete shambles. The staff were not helpful at all.
The location is excellent, convenient to tourist attractions and shops.
Great location, nice staff, great breakfast, good value for money no wifi in the rooms (hello!), very, very small rooms
the fantastic staff
I was only there one night but found all the staff I came into contact with friendly and helpful. No averse comments
The location, the breakfast, the service and the staff.
location Bar prices
Location, locatiom. location - you can walk to many points of interest - Piccadilly Circus, Regent St, Buckingham Palace, Bond St, Oxford St etc. Green Park Tube/ bus is a few minutes walk away - with good connections - multiple tube lines - direct to Heathrow Airport and one stop from Victoria. Walk to the theater, local pubs, galleries or museums . The room - very comfortable, great staff In our first room we had difficulty with the electricity but we were moved to a better roomand enjoyed the rest of our 14 day stay.
Excellent central position, next to the underground station and "hop on hop off" station; extremely kind stuff; good brekafst
Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Service They put a service charge on everything.... even in the bar
Perfect location, helpful and qualified staff. Rooms smaller than expected.
Location is exellent. The room was extremely small and outdated. I stayed in the hotel many times before and always made the bookings directly with the hotel, the rooms I received were much better. I left the hotel under the impression that I've received a bad room because of my booking through booking.com. Perhaps the rate was good but "there is no free lunch".
Breakfast is amazing
the hotel was a little bit special and everything was very well done. the location for oxford street, and picadilly was excellent and within walking distance for convent garden. could have done with teaa making facilities in the room having said that we ordered tea for two via room service which was much nicer than a tea bag in a cup! but expensive.
Location Prefer seperate shower
central and comfortable
The location of the hotel is unique!!! The room was spacious but the bathroom small and old style.
I have stayed there on a few occaisions and have always had excellent service and been made to feel like a valued person
although i had to move rooms twice because of a tv/internet that didn't work, the staff was very open to helping me get a comfortable room.
