Called to gate BEFORE plane even arrived. Left to stand like cattle for over half an hour. Not a seat in sight. Way too much for my elderly husband.

For a discount airline, the service was what we expected, no frills, just transportation from Lisbon to London.

As a no frills airline, nothing is free, not even coffee and we paid 6 euros for two cups on board the plane. We paid extra to get better seating and we got one "free" check-in bag as part of the deal. They are very strict with the carry-on luggage and make sure that you adhere to their sizing policies and saw people arguing as they were forced to pay 50 euros for non-compliant bags. It is better to pay extra in advance to get better seating. Finally, if you are traveling to London, the airline flies to Stanted which is about an hour from London, but train service is good and you can connect to the tube and practically reach every corner of the city quickly and cheaply.

Actual plan ride was smooth.

They nickel and dime you. If that's their business model, fine, but clearly state what fees are charged and outline how they can be avoided. My story is.... none of the "check in online" emails/reminders nor the actual check in process clearly outlines how to retrieve your boarding pass. We arrived at the airport and they made us pay €37 per boarding pass!!!!! Turns out you have to download an app to retrieve an electronic pass. Well, we didn't know that, and since we were in a foreign country whose airport had no WIFI, we couldn't download the app. We were traveling with friends who had carry on luggages. The carry on luggages were deemed carry on to our destination. When traveling back home, they were no longer deemed carry on and my friends were charged €60 per carry on bag. Ridiculous. In summary between check bag fees and boarding passes we paid triple the amount of th airfare.

1.The flight had a delay for about 45 minutes 2.It was nowhere displayed in the airport from Wizz behalf. 3.Kayak somehow knew about it, because I received an email, but everywhere in the airport , or in the Wizzair app was saying nothing about delay.This was creating a total confusion to me and any other passanger around me. 4.The delay was displayed in the airport only with 5 minutes before the schedulled time to fly , not even for gate closing time. 5.I couldn't access any of my connections about coming for at a certain time in order to be picked up, or transfered to my next destination. 6.The Wizz apps is a crap...doesn't work good at all. 7.No information about gate of departure until last moment. overall awful!!!

I was lucky to be seated next to the emergency door so I had a very comfortable seat. Also, the crew was very attentive.

The fact that they have small carry on allowance (free) or with a 7cm difference in width a "large carry on" allowance . To be safe I purchase the extra allowance for large carry on which I paid £19 for on my outward journey. When clearing the check-in gates on my outward journey in London the check Inn clerk informed me that I did not have to pay the large carry on allowance. According to her in my bag but it's been classified as small. On my return journey I decided not to purchase the carry on allowance and I was told that I should have purchase it online instead I had to buy it at the airport at a premium. I won't fly with Wizz Air again.

Love that you could shop dutyfree during the flight! It was very neat seeming the emergency landing information pasted on the seat infront of you. It's a nice gesture because if invade of an emergency you have the pictures literally infront of your face . Also thought it was nice having music play when you land. I'm a very visual person and look for details.

We checked in with the app and when it came to check in our luggage, the customer representative said we hadn't check in correctly and we would have to pay €50 fee per passenger, which is an inconvenience because it you don't want to think about paying more for fees and luggage when your on vacation.

Nice clean plane, friendly airline staff (as friendly as they get, we all know how they have that teflon attitude), OK food, I sat between 2 Bulgarian passengers which were very well behaved, one screaming baby nearby (as there always is) and no-one playing football with the back of my seat all the flight (you know who you are - hope someone does it to you), and no-one fidgeting all flight so all in all a good experience.

Bit slow in opening the gate for people to get on. They expect to cram you like sardines on a hot staircase with no where to go when there is other people being checked in to board behind you, really stupid and possibly sadistic.

It was a full plane ride but they didn't seem to be boarding on time? After checking in we scanned our passports using the machines and then we were in what I thought was the boarding area so we relaxed and waited by the screens in a coffee shop. But when our flight gate was announced there was another passport control to get into those gates with a big line which threatened to delay our boarding. There wasn't enough room for everyone to put their bags in the overhead locker which meant there were even more delays and it felt a bit rushed to get off. When we arrived I was queuing down the stairs to get to the queue for passport control which took about 45-60 minutes to get through with no toilets. I was also charged 40 euros per person for not checking in and printing the boarding pass which is my fault, but the charges do seem excessive.

The cabin crew seemed prepared enough to host redneck passengers and other species that often choose traveling low cost (of course).

I purchased priority boarding for nothing. There was no such thing at the gate. Boarding was chaotic.

So noisy flight. I have never flown before in a such a noisy flight. Totally nightmare! Kids screaming and yelling and parents couldn't handle the situation all passengers were looking. Crew didn't ask if they need any help..

We arrived safely

Told our bag was too big even though we'd paid for a large carry on, which we already knew fit in the overhead compartment (plane was an airbus A320). We were then required to check our bags, but not until after we were told to combine our personal item with our large carry on bag & then told that it was too big. instead of crediting us the amount we'd already paid (€20), we were charged the full checked bag fee of €55. The gate agent was also very rude and not proficient at her job, causing us to delay the plane's departure. Exceptional customer service may have included refunding us the large carry on bag fee. Additionally, our 2hr flight cost us almost $200 each, not what I would call a budget airline price. We will not be flying Wizz air again & do not recommend this airline.

Additionally, our 2hr flight cost us almost $200 each, not what I would call a budget airline price. We will not be flying Wizz air again & do not recommend this airline.

Nice clean plane, friendly airline staff (as friendly as they get, we all know how they have that teflon attitude), OK food, I sat between 2 Bulgarian passengers which were very well behaved, one screaming baby nearby (as there always is) and no-one playing football with the back of my seat all the flight (you know who you are - hope someone does it to you), and no-one fidgeting all flight so all in all a good experience.

Bit slow in opening the gate for people to get on. They expect to cram you like sardines on a hot staircase with no where to go when there is other people being checked in to board behind you, really stupid and possibly sadistic.

I was lucky to be seated next to the emergency door so I had a very comfortable seat. Also, the crew was very attentive.

The flight departed around half an hour late.

So noisy flight. I have never flown before in a such a noisy flight. Totally nightmare! Kids screaming and yelling and parents couldn't handle the situation all passengers were looking. Crew didn't ask if they need any help..

For a discount airline, the service was what we expected, no frills, just transportation from Lisbon to London.

As a no frills airline, nothing is free, not even coffee and we paid 6 euros for two cups on board the plane. We paid extra to get better seating and we got one "free" check-in bag as part of the deal. They are very strict with the carry-on luggage and make sure that you adhere to their sizing policies and saw people arguing as they were forced to pay 50 euros for non-compliant bags. It is better to pay extra in advance to get better seating. Finally, if you are traveling to London, the airline flies to Stanted which is about an hour from London, but train service is good and you can connect to the tube and practically reach every corner of the city quickly and cheaply.

The cabin crew seemed prepared enough to host redneck passengers and other species that often choose traveling low cost (of course).

I purchased priority boarding for nothing. There was no such thing at the gate. Boarding was chaotic.

1.The flight had a delay for about 45 minutes 2.It was nowhere displayed in the airport from Wizz behalf. 3.Kayak somehow knew about it, because I received an email, but everywhere in the airport , or in the Wizzair app was saying nothing about delay.This was creating a total confusion to me and any other passanger around me. 4.The delay was displayed in the airport only with 5 minutes before the schedulled time to fly , not even for gate closing time. 5.I couldn't access any of my connections about coming for at a certain time in order to be picked up, or transfered to my next destination. 6.The Wizz apps is a crap...doesn't work good at all. 7.No information about gate of departure until last moment. overall awful!!!

Nothing at all

The fact that they have small carry on allowance (free) or with a 7cm difference in width a "large carry on" allowance . To be safe I purchase the extra allowance for large carry on which I paid £19 for on my outward journey. When clearing the check-in gates on my outward journey in London the check Inn clerk informed me that I did not have to pay the large carry on allowance. According to her in my bag but it's been classified as small. On my return journey I decided not to purchase the carry on allowance and I was told that I should have purchase it online instead I had to buy it at the airport at a premium. I won't fly with Wizz Air again.

Crew were polite

We paid for priority boarding but gate assignment and boarding were disorganized and inefficient. If we pay for priority we should receive the benefits.
