As always the staff were second to none. From being issued with a boarding pass to exiting the plane all staff were friendly and efficient. I appreciated the regular updates from the cockpit when we had to circle for quite a while.

I am writing in respect to the flight cancellation and the inconvenience caused to my family. My family and I were scheduled to fly on EZ to Aberdeen on wed the 1st of August, as a result of flight cancellation we have had to remove this part of our holiday from our scheduled as we are travelling through the Uk on our pre planned summer holiday. the cost incurred and the reimbursement that I expect as a result of the inconvenience caused to my family, are the cost of our transport from our Airbnb to Gatwick, transport to the accommodation EasyJet booked for the nite, the cost of transport from Holiday inn express Gatwick Crawley, back to our accommodation at Kingston, and the fact that Flybe our return departure back to London on the 6th of August has refused to refund us the sum £310 that has been payed towards our return flight back to london on the 6th of August. They have expressed it is absolutely not their fault easyJet decided to cancel, they have offered to make changes to dates or destination for a minimum cost of £45 per per family member and that excludes the change in fare racking up another £225 or more just to be in Aberdeen for the planned 6days. We are not resident in England and have an outbound flight to catch to our country of resident. This simply means changing our international outbound ticket as well for at least £350 per person, excluding the difference in fare which could be a minimum of £1760 which at this point I can no longer afford. In order for the rest of what is left of our summer holiday not to continue getting ruined, we have had to cancel the Aberdeen part of our trip due to easy jet disruption. Both easy jet and Flybe have treated us like we are not their customers simply because we didn’t book directly like other customers. It was a long ezcucautiing process just to make a refund and claim expenses. I have sent a few emails to the address given which seem to be wrong. I have in used a total of £180 in transportation cost for me and my 4 family members just to catch a cancelled flight not to talk about food cost.

Short flight

All baggage lost. Wasn't put on the plane because they didn't have enough containers. Ground crew at London was courteous. Luggage had to be sent on to the US the next day. No free bags on this flight so all of the luggage lost had been paid for piece by piece. No free drink service; even a soda had to be paid for. No food, of course. Originating 10hr flight from Los Angeles to London was also uncomfortable, with small, packed coach seats, no air nozzles and poor headset connectors. I was very happy to get back on American Airlines for my return to Los Angeles. Wouldn't use BA again.

There wasn't much to like about this flight! The seats were comfortable and we had plenty of leg room but we paid extra for that leg room! Nothing more good can I say about this experience!!!

Loading for departure was almost 45 minutes late. The plane had been at the gate for at least 3 hours. Many varying excuses were given. Once boarding started, it was stopped again for mechanical problems with the plane. Each announcement assured us that no one would miss connections in Dublin!! Plane was loaded and doors were closed and secured....then we sat in the plane for over an hour without moving. Still experiencing mechanical problems. Now there was no way to get off or rebook a flight. The ENTERTAINMENT system did NOT work on the plane!! Landing in Dublin we were told to see agent at the gate if we missed our connecting flight to get info on our re directed connection. If we had not been rebooked, go to a room off the baggage area to be rebooked and then get our baggage. There was no one at the gate, the person in the room that we were directed to could not do anything, the baggage carousel broke down twice and our luggage was diverted to a different carousel with no indication that it had been moved. We had to go thru customs and go down to be re ticketed for a different flight. We waited in a long line for a hour to try to get a new flight to Hamburg. There was another 2 flights that could get us to Hamburg in time to make it to our destination But the Aer Lingus did not have a reciprocal agreement with that airline. Aer Lingus could NOT get us to Hamburg in time for us to make our connection there! The Aer Lingus agent told us that her only job was to get us to Hamburg and nothing more! Anything beyond that was our problem. We missed our 10 cruise because of the excessive delays, excuses and incorrect information given by your agents!!!! We are seasoned travelers and have never experienced such terrible service! Our trip back to the States from Dublin with Aer Lingus was just as terrible! Communication is NOT one of their strong points. We were boarded on he plane and sat for an hour and a half before asked to de board the plane. The plane had been damaged by the skywalk. We were told that food vouchers would be given for lunch and that we were not allowed to leave that wing of the terminal. It took 45 minutes for anyone to meet the passengers with the vouchers. These vouchers did not, in any way, cover the cost of a lunch. We were called to line up for boarding before most even had a chance to get in an order at the food counter. Everyone hurried to get in line and it was 3 hours later before we were allowed to board the plane!?! This does not make one want to fly again soon with this airline!

Aer Lingus didn’t have a plane to fly us Dublin you boston so they leased one from a company. Someone from AL walked around gate area handing out a letter with the information. No announcements made that flight was going to be late. Everyone was lined up to board, no que so it was a mess. 49 min of standing there. No announcement plane was going to be late etc. Let us board but stood in jetway for awhile. Old plane. Mediocre service. no entertainment.

Nothing. We were delayed and never made the connection. Delays, mechanical issues with the plane and mis information from your agents caused us to miss the flight.

I didn't like the fact that we never made it to Hamburg. The more I think about he experience, the madder I get. We were frustrated with the experience to start out with but as we think back on it and what could have been done to change things by the airline, the frustration changes to anger.

After attempting to check in at the baggage machine, we were told we had to go through the check in line. Then after waiting 60 minutes in line at the Aer Lingus counter we were told we were 15 minutes past the boarding closing time. So even though we were still an hour before our flight we couldn't get a boarding pass to get on the plane. We then had to pay $150 x 3 to get on the same flight the next day. We will never fly Aer Lingus again and will never fly through Dublin again.

Courtesy and constant detail attention. They didn’t have enough staff at the gate to get passengers through on time causing us to miss the push off slot and had to wait on the tarmac an hour for another.

I think it is crazy to gouge your customers with fees for choosing their seats. The charge for checked baggage was also extreme. When you are in a different country than your own and you cannot find a secure network with which to reserve and pay for your baggage prior to the flight you really have to pay a lot of money. I hope you do not start charging to breathe the cabin air during the flight. Customers would prefer to know the real cost of the flight when they make their reservations instead of getting charged for every little service along the way.

1st of our round trip - flight not full

Mentions you have to pay for all non small bags brought onto flight , so we check our bags . Carry on bags turned out to be free mentions nothing about that . Flight attendant stuffed another passages large bag under my seat used all my foot space

My main gripe is that if you want a plain cup of coffee or a bottle of water, you are charged for it and can pay only with a credit card, but only if that card is chip and pin, and my US card isn't. Yes, it is high time that the US move into the current millennium and get chip and pin cards, but that is beside the point. I also flew BA from London to Seattle (part of same trip) and the on-board meal & drink service was PHENOMENAL - the best I have had on an airline in years, and I did not get charged for anything, including alcoholic beverages. How can this be the same airline?

The movies available, the plane was new

Due to a computer software malfunction our departure flight from ORD to Berlin was delayed 1.25 hours causing us to miss our connecting flight in Dublin. Very little updated information about our ETA was made available, the crew kept insisting that we were going to not miss our connection.

Delay meant I would have to take a later connecting flight. But they were all full. This meant I had to stay in Aberdeen one more night. Being pregnant and nauseated all the time the few food vouchers barely covered my needs and the stress, waiting around, and staying even longer in Europe exacerbated my condition from discomfort to illness that required hospitalization on return to the US.

So even though we were still an hour before our flight we couldn't get a boarding pass to get on the plane. We then had to pay $150 x 3 to get on the same flight the next day. We will never fly Aer Lingus again and will never fly through Dublin again.

Air Lingus is my new preferred carrier. They combine updated technology with old time

Courtesy and constant detail attention. They didn’t have enough staff at the gate to get passengers through on time causing us to miss the push off slot and had to wait on the tarmac an hour for another.
