Pros: I've stayed at several nice hotels in Chicago and this is by far my favorite. Very comfortable, tastefully decorated, incredible A-V/home automation controls. This was the perfect home-base for a multi-day business trip. The atrium also had a splendid Sunday brunch with string quartet. Couldn't be better

Pros: The beds were comfortable, shower had good water pressure, and staff were very helpful. I arrived early on the day of check in and asked if they had early check in. They said they had been sold out the night before so it might be tough, but they would see what they could do. 15m later the room was ready! I was extremely grateful for this, as I was exhausted from travel and wasn't feeling great. This allowed me to rest and show up to my conference feeling like myself.

Pros: The Loews was an overall excellent experience. From arrival to departure the service was spot on. The hotel was not only very clean but excellently staffed. Everyone who worked for the hotel was more than willing to assist you in any matter you may need and were very polite. The front desk employees were extremely helpful with everything from advice on night life to helping make sure all my bases were covered on a very special between my lady and I. (thank you very much Noah for going above and beyond... We both thank you for helping us have a great night). It was very apparent that the employees took pride in their jobs and strived to accommodate all guest the best they could. The hotel had a great energy and was a very positive atmosphere. The hotel flowed extremely well and was decorated beautifully. The rooms were spacious and felt very secure. The hotel was in a very low key part of the city, it was surrounded by places you would want to go in Chicago (ie. Restaurants, bars, navy pier, magnificent mile etc..) overall excellent experience and we will be back.

We checked in and an exceptionally friendly clerk, Mariana, made sure we were given a quiet corner room, per our request. Our room was clean, spacious, and newly renovated - but not overdone. The wi-fi was fast, the bathroom toiletries lovely, and the room was quiet. Stop and see the pool -- it is the original, and its gorgeous. Pros: I was charged by both Kayak as well as the hotel. I'm now going on my second week of "working" with a totally incompetent staff on getting reimbursed. I have received phone verification over a week ago that I was going to be reimbursed. 5 Phone calls later I received an email confirmation, yet I have yet to receive any reimbursement. When asked to speak to a manager I was told the manager was aware of the situration and my reimbursement would be received in the form of a credit on my credit card - that was 5 days ago and still no credit.

Pros: Our stay was short lived. Unfortunately our 3 year old fell in the hotel room and we ended up having to check out by 5:30 to go to the E.R. for x-rays. The hotel staff/manager was not accommodating in the least. While I did not expect a credit on my credit card, I thought an offer of a voucher for a future stay was appropriate considering the circumstances. At the very least, a smile, apology and a voucher for drinks would have been nice.
