Cons: "This event refers to my TAP flight from Lisbon to Heathrow on 21-Jan-2018. We arrived to the airport nearly 2 hours before departure time, waited 35min in the security checks and my girlfriend was held 20min in the passport control. While she was queuing for the 2no police officers to check her passport, an airport assistant came to the queue and asked who was due to board in TP364 to Heathrow. She was made aware that my girlfriend was there due to board that flight. In the meantime I made my way to the gate to make the gate assistants aware that she was held in the passport checks and was already on her way to the gate. Having said that, the zealous assistants in the gate have closed the gate in front of me, 18min before scheduled departure time and - "very kindly" - told me that I wouldn't be boarding that flight anymore even though my girlfriend have arrived in the meantime. One can imagine the frustration I felt finding out that the flight departure was delayed and that the flight actually departed 40min late. At that time I was already suffering the extortion of the customer service from TAP, claiming from me circa 400Eur from each of us for a one way ticket in the next flight to London. Therefore... until I remember this... I AM NOT FLYING TAP ANYMORE... I am very proud of being Portuguese but in similar situations that occurred with me flying British Airways, Lufthansa or Air Italia, I have always been treated with much more respect and customer care!"

Pros: "Though it was a short flight, they did offer food and left mine on my table since I was sleeping. I woke up super thirsty and hungry so that was a nice surprise."

At the end of a 9 hour flight I was starving by the time we landed. Constant updates over the loud speaker by the pilot and stewardess got annoying; felt like every 20-30 minutes and saying the same thing, and saying it in 3 different laugages."

After finally receiving our boarding passes, the kiosk for our flight read "Gate Closed" and it seemed to be miles away. We got to the airport well in advanced, but due to the long line and fear of missing the flight, we didn't have time to shop at duty free or get food within the airport."

Cons: "The flight was 1 1/2 hours late. Large person in the seat in front of me and when she reclined I couldn't cross my legs. And I am only 5'2", I can't imagine a tall person coping. Not very clean aircraft (fork and wrappers from earlier flight lay at my feet). Cheap fair, but you get what you pay for. We did not receive the upgraded seats on any flight we booked. Poor customer service."

Flight was late at Miami Food is the worst and hardly any. Entertainment is basic and had to pay for the headphones which should be included."

Cons: "The cabin crew threw the food on the trays, and once they picked it up as fast as they could, they dissapeared and didn't show up again until just before landing, just to throw the customs form on the customers and dissapear again without providing any help. The pilot and the entertainment system used Polish instead of Spanish, in a Spanish airline flight departing from Madrid with majority of Spanish speaking passengers. The food was garbage."

Cons: "The boarding was somehow on time at the first beginning. However, after we have all boarded, they announced that 3 of the passengers decided not to flown with us. Therefore, in order to take out their luggage, we were on board waiting for about 45 minutes more. It is obvious that the flight was overbooked."

Pros: "Left late again. Baby cried in ur row (that we paid extra for), for 9 of the 9 1/2 hrs. Had to go ask for drinks . Seats too narrow. Too many people squeezed into plane."

Cons: "Our second leg of the round-trip to Spain was almost as bad as the first. The flight was late in departing and arrived nearly 45 minutes late in MIA. The flight attendants didn't bother to answer call buttons and if you wanted anything you had to go to the galley and wait in line! The second snack was cardboard mini pizzas and the coffee was cold. My wheelchair was treated as luggage so it was not available at the gate as promised. The entertainment system was slow and unresponsive with last months videos. You can do better."

Cons: "My inbound flight was two hours late because the plane didn't arrived on time. This time the flight was scheduled earlier and the plane was on time. However, we departed again with more delays due to poor boarding management. The crew was correct and polite but I'd appreciate having more water available. I boarded with my own bottle of water which I emptied and still felt very thirsty since they weren't passing water around as frequently as I'd like. BA cares about that aspect much better."

In return flight I asked ground staff how do I request vegetarian food option and she didn't know. Above all flight was delayed from Madrid to Barcelona, for 45 mins flight it took 2 hrs and I missed the event I was going to spain! Even while returning Barcelona to Madrid flight was delayed by 3 hrs! as there was technical difficulty while take off!"

I actually really enjoyed the food, it wasn't the most lavish or have much variety to choose from, but it was good, filling, and I liked what they had to offer. Comfortable chairs/beds. We were on the new Dreamliner and the windows and lighting effects were great, minimizing our jet lag. Good airline I would consider flying again if they rectify the problem with the bugs that bit me!!"
Cons: "Well, I ended up with 25 incredibly itchy bug bites on my legs from the blanket they gave me. It was painful and uncomfortable and, well, gross. I've asked for a refund, I am waiting to hear back from them. If this didn't happen, I would have said the entire flight was easy and excellent. There was very little entertainment, so if you do fly them on a long flight, come prepared with things to do."
