hotel was quaint...nicely decorated, good location, staff helpful and friendly, location (when staying in room on the front of the hotel) was very noisy, room was very hot....temperature not adjustable..
Decor and ambience - a very Victorian feel. There was nothing we deidn't like.
Staff friendliness Location Rooms too small
Very hospitable staff. Room very cosy. Breakfast room very clean and breakfast very good value. None
the vacum cleanin of the carpet was very bad
The basement room and the reception the broken shower that was only partly repaired
Great location for museums and shopping. Comfortable but small room.
The communication of the hotel staff was excellent, they were all very proffessional. My compliments to all of them.
It was pretty close to most tourist attractions. Staff at times can be uncoperative.
The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. It is located in an excellent position, especially if you are visiting London to see the sights. No.
I like location and the interior design very much. And the staff is great. Bit limited on spaces (room and public place)
Everything...gorgeous facility, interesting decorations, lovely staff, fabulous location...just shy of perfection!Q Rooms are not huge, but still loved loved loved the hotel
Location and layout. Hotel is located right beside tube station and within a lot of great amenities and attractions.
Everything was state of the art. Staff were very helpful. Location is great with the underground close by and a bus stop out front. Prime location in an outstanding area of London
The location is perfect being steps from the South Kensington tube station and close to museums, shops, food, etc but not right next to the major tourist stops so you don't feel you are surrounded only by tourists. Plus, free drinks in the mini fridge The rooms were on the small side but what would be expected in London.
Great location, staff was excellent. A bit old, but so is most of London, - minor compared to the benefits, it was in good condition given how old building was.
Loved the location, the staff, the overall comfort of the hotel. It was perfect. Highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to be in the south kensington area.
very nice design hotel, comfy lobby & rooms showergel / shampoo weren't filled up after user
V nice hotel, attentive staff. Room too small, had to ask several times to have safe fixed, extra blanket provided and light bulb replaced. Reception desk not v well- manned (often empty).
The location for sightseeing, the facilities and the staff of the hotel were excellent. The costs to stay were also very reasonable. I reccomend this hotel to stay.
Ultra quiet room. Good bar. Good location Used Kayak to request an early check-in (1 hr) to make a confidential business call. Automessage from hotel "could not commit" to this. Arrived 90 mins early to plead my case, but didn't get access till 10 mins prior to 3pm check-in. In other words, they placed zero priority on this simple ask despite having 4 hrs between departure and check-in. Also requested a room with a desk and accessible outlets, but got a room with no desk at all - and only accessible outlets were under the television, across the room at the head of the bed. Lighting in room was terrible. Very slow service in the restaurant
- turndown service - chocolates on pillows - let me check-in early - helped me secure a taxi for wherever I was going - friendly attentive staff
This hotel is so beautiful, amalgam of charming English style with some bold fashion details Hotel rooms are gorgeous, all are renovated, free WiFi, complimentary coffee and tea in the room, good size closet and 24 h room service! Location is tremendous few minutes walk to a shopping area including Harrods mall, there are many restaurants and cafes near by as well, from fancy 5 star French to little local bars, all are great! If you are about explore the city, right on the corner from the hotel there are few museums, Hyde Park and Kensington palace! Safe, clean neighborhood, 3min walk to the South Ken Tube Station, just perfect! I am very happy with the hotel, staff is so friendly and very helpful
clean room, facilities good, breakfast v.good if little expensive .service quick efficient good location room small bit cramped
very nice hotel in a great area. the reception staff is fantastic a bit less the service employees. all in all good place
The spaciousness of the lobby. Not stuffy! The problem was they had no booking from us,checked everything! They solved it and gave us a room for the price agreed.
Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and accomodated an early check in.Especially like to mention Andrea Doyle who showed a great deal of empathy and was agreat ambassador for the hotel. Room was small, you could hardly get past the bed, staircase still not finished which detracted from otherwise luxurious feel to the hotel. Not sure you could desribe it as a superior double !
Due to airline delays, our exhausted family of three arrived at the Pelham after midnight and was met with a warm welcome and beautifully appointed room (with a comfortable extra bed set up as requested for our son). Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The Pelham could not have been lovelier, and the location is a perfect home base for exploring London.
I first stay at the Pelham in 1993. Based on this stay it is as good or better than ever. A civilized haven in the best corner of London.
peaceful, quiet decor a little tired.
Even though I requested for an early check in and the normal check in time is 2 pm, our room was not ready until 5 pm. Exhausted; we had to wait for it sitting in the lobby. That kind of inconveniences should never happen in a five stars hotel.
The hotel room was very big on the contrary of most hotel in London. the bathtube was equipped with a Jacusy. The room was nicely decorated and was very quiet; The hotel is located in a very nice neibourghood.
The reception was very friendly and the location was ideal for our needs. The room was comfortable and clean, with an excellent shower room.
Pre arrival the staff were very helpful via email and responded extremely quickly. On arrival, they couldn't do enough to ensure that we had a wonderful break. The hotel was wonderful and the rooms flawless. We will definitely be returning to The Bentley. None at all.
Cleanliness of room and friendly staff. The room had good facilities too. A couple of small things about the room. A lamp on the desk in the room was held together with sticky tape. The cupboard holding the TV was in poor condition as was the TV itself.
Very good location, opulent rooms, great services. Not very far from Heathrow, not expensive for the quality it provides.
Rooms quite spacious. Nicely furnished. Quiet. The service staff at the breakfast was disorganized and extremely slow. Totally unhelpful.
very quite and comfortable hotel, good size rooms and bathrooms
The service was excellent. And the spa facilities were amazing.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and the location is impossible to beat. The service was impeccable. Each time I needed assitance from the front desk, I was given all that I needed and more. The concierge team -- Mercy, Jessica and Ahmed - were amazing. They simply went out of their way to make everyting go as smoothly as possible. The breakfast is very good. And the public hang-out spaces are beautifully designed. The only possible downside of this terrific hotel is the size of the single, small room, which is very small. But it's well designed, and has a great energy. I find this deal hard to beat. Would stay there again in a heartbeat, and would return with my family as well.
The hotel is very confortable, the staff is friendly; the breakfast is exellent; the rooms are beautiful no
Great location -a short walk to Harrods,V&A, and super little patisseries, restaurants and shops. Room had spacious bathroom with the lovely Penhaligon products.
Excellent personal service, great food - quite simply a great hotel. You would be very hard pushed to find anything even slightly wrong with this hotel !
the comfort, service and the little gadgets that felt like your in your own house. Too many furniture in the bedroom that made the room small
Egerton House is the best hotel I have stayed in over a 25 year period of visiting London. The staf couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful and my room (a standard double, I believe) was lovely and comfortable.
well I loved the place and the staff specially, they even went with me to show the room and they kept asking of I need anything to insure my comfort. it was great! the rooms are a bit small, and i see it a bit expensive but this is London after all.
I liked the small size (no convention) and the personal attention. The rooms are really small although I recognize that this comment could be made about many London hotels.
I liked the decor and the products in the room and how clean and nicely refurbished the hotel is. I thought the rooms are a bit small for the price
The staff are attentive, the location is great and the decor is interesting Some of thwe furniture is looking tired and the dark lighting is irritating
stuffy, room comfort not adaptted to current standards by any means, elevator is a nuisance. Will never book this hotel again. I spend 200 night per year in hotels.
not very much at all Disgusting vastly overpriced food. Cluttered unwelcoming reception. Gloomy decor poor lighting, hard bed.
Very special: atmosphere, design, service...for special moments some of the beautiful furniture and design needs to be refurbished
Nice ambiance, food was good quality, staff were helpful and friendly
Classy apartment with full kitchen, dishwasher and clothes washer dryer in the room. Great service and very clean. We had a drawing room/ dinning room perfect for inviting friends. A few blocks away from V&A Museum, Royal Albert Hall and South Kensington tube station. Many great restaurants and classy shopping. It comes with a price.
This was a very charming hotel. The location was wonderful - only a few blocks from an Underground station and Hyde Park. The staff was great - very helpful and friendly. The concierge helped with getting tickets to museums and other attractions as well as trains, which saved a great deal of time not waiting in long lines. We took advantage of the breakfast service. The food was good with lots of options. The waitstaff was very attentive. We did not have to wait long for assistance. The maid staff was fine as well and also very friendly. On several occasions, we had to call the front desk to request additional towels and they arrived within minutes. The Rembrandt is an older hotel with some of the issues associated with that. For example, the "switch" that controlled power to the room would "break" if the bathroom door was closed to hard in our room or a neighboring room. This could be easily fixed by tapping on the control panel. The room had a small table and desk, so there was no room for a wardrobe. It was a little difficult living out of a suitcase for two weeks. It would have been smarter to remove the desk and substitute some drawers for clothing.
Very friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room, well positioned for C London.
Service was outstanding. They provided extra towels and outlet adapter when asked. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great place to use for our home base for our anniversary getaway to London. Centrally located downtown. Close to the tube. Full English breakfast was included in our reservation but I was informed that not every reservation qualified for the "full" breakfast and instead they received a continental breakfast. Limited menu in hotel restaurant.
Well designed room; very complete; lots of nice touches. Heated towel rack; jacuzzie tub; upscale furnishings; even has a couple of 110/115 outlets. Location cannot be beat; just down from Harrods and up from South Kensington Underground station two stops away from Victoria Station and 4 stops away from Westminster Station. The BigBus "hop on hop off" number 36 is just out front and the narrated tour the bus provides last right at 3.5 hours with city traffic and goes to every single place of interest. Tour bus pricing varies based on package deal but around $30 per person. The staff of the hotel always exceeds expectation; Neal, the head concierge; is full of insights for the area; found us a large private van to Heathrow for $65. We had 4 big bags from a twoo week Cruise, so the large Mercedes was excellent. The hotel and its ammenities are moderately pricied if not leaning a little toward expensive, as in breakfast; but in tota,l worth the money especially if on vacation. A superior experience; will stay here again when visiting London for sure.
Pool Paper thin walls, constant slamming of doors in the hallway!
room was quite spacious and location quite central food was not very good byt fair for England
The very good location of the hotel and helpful staff, also good heating. The toilet in the bathroom didn't work too well and no extractor for the steam in bathroom.
The location of the hotel - central, being within walking distance of Knightsbridge tube station, yet quiet enough to get an undisturbed nights sleep! Vey clean hotel, providing a very good breakfast.
The Hotel staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and very very helpful. They always remember me from my previous stay. The disabled facilties are not upto dda standards. The ramp to the reception is unsafe, too steep and not legal!! You must get the electric wheelchair lift repaired and make sure that it can operated by the wheelchair user from the pavement. either that place a bell outside so that the attention of the reception staff can be alerted. I would recommend this hotel to able bodied persons, but not to wheelchair users.
its central position to Kingsbridge and shopping Water in bath and shower not hot enough at any time
The Rembrandt is in a great location not far from the many sights of London. We had a wonderful room with a balcony and a spa bath! It was excelent.
Our room was on the small side.
I will not book a room in this hotel again because, having paid 200 pounds per night: - It took me half an hour to have a mediocre shower since the fresh water hardly run through the pipes (despite the washroom being recently refurbished). - The room was very noisy (street cars and doors slapping all night). - The complimentary breakfast (I paid for) was ridiculous. No salty/warm food, only some fresh fruit (which was good) and industrial pastries (along with the standard drinks, of course). R. Arranz (14/11/14)
The Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt breakfast was very very good indeed. Great choice, perfectly cooked and great service No Cold Water in the rooms.
location was good and room/staff were good room was a bit small but only what one has to expect with a central london hotel in this style
Location ! Street noise
Everything was great, from the room, the location and the staff. I have never experience a more friendly or helpful staff. They were definitely there to make sure we were happy and comfortable, and they did a wonderful job! Nothing
breakfast! also peace & quiet and proximity to Tube and other amenities sulphurous smell from bathroom, not from my use of the facilities but even coming into the room after a day out
breackfast and it's service is excelleny bell captain arranged taxi, seems to be an unlicenced taxi. they don't have a meter and want to hard sell
Location Lift works badly
Very clean. Friendly staff, quiet room. Single room was small, and did not have a dresser, only a closet. The bed was kind of hard.
Staff were friendly and attentive, bar food was excellent quality and value for money, room was high standard Very warm
convenient location intial room I was allocated was tiny, but they were happy to move me when I complained
Bimal was incredibly helpful. The rooms were VERY small. We switched from a postage stamp sized room to one with another 10 square feet. The cleaning staff talked loudly on their cell phones as they went from room to room.
Incredibly small room. Also smely.
Very convenient for Underground and taxis and walking to Knightsbridge and the Royal Albert Hall. Restaurant was good and comfortable at lunchtime. Breakfast was disorganised and over-crowded, as well as overpriced. I would recommend taking breakfast in one of the neighbouring cafes.
The atmosphere of this hotel is so romantic and luxury. Also there's a tube station right infront of the hotel so it is very convenient to travel. Breakfast is great and every staffs are friendly. It was a perfect experience for me and my boyfriend.
The location was ideal for my purpose. The room was very small indeed. The lounge/bar area was poortly lit and extremely noisy with either canned music or even louder live music. Breakfast is not included in the pricec and was very expensive. It's better to buy a sandwich at the supermarket across the road.
We liked everything. The room and bathroom were lovely (we had a club room), well furnished, spacious, comfortable and elegant. No
Location in Gloucester Road and the Station was excellent.Ammbience of the hotel and the hotel staff was very good Olives Restaurant. We were delayed for an evening meal and we had to walk out before eating to go to the theatre
Location and fair sized room with good bathroom. Considering the substantive room rate it is annoying that you have to pay 8£/hr for internet
Closeness to tube station No
Internet Connetions was very bad !
Location was perfect, just a short tube ride to everything. Lots of nice cafes & pubs near by. The Lifts, there were 3 but only one working, so it was waiting forever for a full lift and wait until they piled out before it came back down empty again.
atmoshpere, position, The only fault shower was abismal in room 535, severe lack of water pressure
The hotel had character and was not like a chain hotel. The location was within walking distance of a lot of things to do in the city but it wasn't in the middle of all the action. I found the hot water in the bathroom to be unpredictable and often ran cold unexpectedly.
