Travelers are allowed to enter. fully vaccinated people should have a vaccination certificate that shows they have had the last dose of a vaccine no less than 3 weeks before arrival.
Unvaccinated visitors from the United Kingdom must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to the Dominican Republic.
Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test.
Travelers do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test upon arrival to enter the Dominican Republic. Travelers may be required to take a COVID-19 breath test at random on arrival.
Passengers who present a vaccination card no less than 3 weeks after the last dose was placed or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival in the Dominican Republic will be exempted from the random test.
Visitors from the United Kingdom are not required to quarantine after entering the Dominican Republic.
Travelers who present symptoms or whose test results are positive will be isolated and attended at authorized locations.
Travelers not presenting the vaccination card or COVID-19 test, they must remain confined in their hotel or accommodation.
All foreign and Dominican passengers entering or leaving Dominican Republic on commercial flights must complete the free electronic entry and exit form, which combines the Traveler’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration and International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms. The form is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Russian.
Travellers returning from the Dominican Republic must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 72 hours before departure to the United Kingdom.
Qualified fully vaccinated travelers are not required to present a pre-departure test when traveling to England. However, they are still required to book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test which will be taken on or before day 2 after arrival in the country. An individual traveling to the country is considered fully vaccinated if he/she meets the qualification indicated here.
Travelers who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or those who are not qualified under the fully vaccinated rules are required to present a pre-departure test (to be taken any time in the 3 days before the departure date), day 2 and day 8 PCR tests. They may check the pricelist and order the test thru these authorized testing providers.
Travelers could be fined £500 if they are unable to present a pre-departure test.
Travelers from the Common Travel Area (the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Ascension, Falkland Islands and St Helena) are exempt from the test requirement.
Visitors returning from the Dominican Republic will need to quarantine for 10 days upon entering the United Kingdom.
Travelers who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or those who are not qualified under the fully vaccinated rules arriving from non-red list countries are required to quarantine at home or in the place they are staying for 10 days.
Permitted travelers from the red list countries are mandated to quarantine in a managed hotel. They must be administered with day 2 and day 8 test. They will be required to continue their quarantine period regardless of the result of their day 2 test. For travelers who have positive result, quarantine will start from the date after the result of their day 2 test and they no longer need to use the day 8 test.
For travelers who will have a positive result after using the day 8 test, they will need to quarantine further. They will have to finish the quarantine starting from the date after the result of their day 8 test.
Travelers who have both negative result for day 2 and day 8 test will be out of the 10-day quarantine from the day they arrived in the country.
Travelers going to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are advised to check further details regarding their quarantine requirement.
Submit the form any time in the 48 hours before arriving in the UK. Show the form when checking in your plane, train or ferry to the UK.
All travelers arriving directly to Scotland are required to book their Managed Quarantine Package prior to travel.
Fully vaccinated visitors from the United Kingdom can enter the Dominican Republic without restrictions. Unvaccinated visitors from the United Kingdom can enter the Dominican Republic with a negative COVID-19 test result.
