These general requirements apply to all visitors regardless if you are traveling from a low risk or high risk country:
-You must not have been in contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days prior to arrival. Travelers who have had recent contact with a positive case will be placed in mandatory quarantine.
-You must carry a printed document of proof of the mandatory steps at all times during your travel.
-You must be adequately insured for medical care and any additional costs if you are quarantined or become ill during your stay.
-If you do not meet the above conditions, you may be quarantined on arrival. This is entirely at your own expense.
-There are currently no exemptions for visitors who have been fully vaccinated.
Visitors from the United Kingdom must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 72 for RT-PCR (NAAT) and 24 Antigen (quick-test) hours before departing to Curaçao.
Only deep pharyngeal nose and throat swab PCR tests are accepted.Passengers should carry a printed document of proof with them for both the PLC and negative PCR test result.
Travelers must be adequately insured for medical care and any additional costs if they are quarantined or become ill during their stay.
All passengers departing from high risk and very high risk countries are required to undergo an Antigen test at a local laboratory on the 3rd day in Curaçao. The reservation and payment of the 3rd day antigen test is part of the PLC process. Please click here for more information.
Visitors from the United Kingdom are not required to quarantine after entering Curaçao.
You will be placed in mandatory quarantine maximum of 14 days if you have been in contact with a person who tested positively for COVID-19 within 14 days prior to arrival and if you test positive for COVID-19 during your stay in Curaçao.
Unvaccinated travellers returning from Curaçao must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 72 hours before departure to the United Kingdom.
Fully vaccinated travellers with approved vaccination certificates do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test.
Qualified fully vaccinated travelers are not required to present a pre-departure test when traveling to England. However, they are still required to book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test which will be taken on or before day 2 after arrival in the country. An individual traveling to the country is considered fully vaccinated if he/she meets the qualification indicated here.
Travelers who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or those who are not qualified under the fully vaccinated rules are required to present a pre-departure test (to be taken any time in the 3 days before the departure date), day 2 and day 8 PCR tests. They may check the pricelist and order the test thru these authorized testing providers.
Travelers could be fined £500 if they are unable to present a pre-departure test.
Travelers from the Common Travel Area (the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Ascension, Falkland Islands and St Helena) are exempt from the test requirement.
Unvaccinated visitors returning from Curaçao will need to quarantine for 10 days upon entering the United Kingdom.
Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.
Travelers who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or those who are not qualified under the fully vaccinated rules arriving from non-red list countries are required to quarantine at home or in the place they are staying for 10 days.
Permitted travelers from the red list countries are mandated to quarantine in a managed hotel. They must be administered with day 2 and day 8 test. They will be required to continue their quarantine period regardless of the result of their day 2 test. For travelers who have positive result, quarantine will start from the date after the result of their day 2 test and they no longer need to use the day 8 test.
For travelers who will have a positive result after using the day 8 test, they will need to quarantine further. They will have to finish the quarantine starting from the date after the result of their day 8 test.
Travelers who have both negative result for day 2 and day 8 test will be out of the 10-day quarantine from the day they arrived in the country.
Travelers going to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are advised to check further details regarding their quarantine requirement.
Submit the form any time in the 48 hours before arriving in the UK. Show the form when checking in your plane, train or ferry to the UK.
All travelers arriving directly to Scotland are required to book their Managed Quarantine Package prior to travel.
Most visitors from the United Kingdom need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result and/or quarantine to enter Curaçao.
Vaccinated visitors from the United Kingdom can enter Curaçao with a negative COVID-19 test result.
Unvaccinated visitors from the United Kingdom can enter Curaçao with a negative COVID-19 test result.
