Good location. For breakfast, go across the road from the main entrance, to a small cafe on your left (opposite Spice of India) - great breads, cheeses, croissants. Spice of India is a nice place for dinner, too, and if you walk a bit further on, you get to a great pub - Victoria - that has some of the best food, too.
Location to nearest tube station. breakfast menu with views over hyde park. locality to my destination at the park Would defo return again. The tv was difficult to use remote. Maybe a simpler version. Room was supposed to be a superior one. I saw no evidence of this. not enough toiletries. Beatutifully decorated in public areas, and toilets by meeting rooms were well furnished with soap & cream etc
Very little. Noise levels; size of rooms; poor heating/water pressure.
Pleasant, friendly staff -reception. First impressions on entering revolving doors was good The noise from the doors slamming shut at 4am - slow closing facility on each room would stop this.
I find the facilities & staff are most welcoming, friendly & always available. I have been using this London Hotel for many years, in fact when it was called The Royal Lancaster Hotel. I do hope it will revert to that title in the future. Thank you to all for making me feel " @ home" while enjoying my stay.
It was a business trip, and I know London well so not very relevent to me, though I like the proximity to the Park of this hotel and also to Paddington Station. Nothing
Excellent location--right near Paddington and the Central Line tube. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant was surprisingly good. Outdated facilities, comfort of bed and room so-so (room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking floor).
Location was perfect for us. The onsight eating facilties were very good. All the staff members were courteous and helpful. The rooms were gery comfortable and well tended to. Just like most of the rest of the world, there's too much fast moving traffic everywhere.
Great central location but away from main shopping streets. Amazing views from upper floors. On -site parking. Expensive breakfast.
We had a lovely night's sleep on a very comfortable bed. Compared to the bedroom, the bathroom was under par. The bath water took ages to drain! On the plus side, the hotel sent up an engineer within minutes to fix the sink plug which we pushed in too deep.
Staff very good. Felt like a top hotel. Nothing.
Central area No air con in our room- extortionate upgrade required
Staff was extremely helpful, professional & friendly. We were upgraded to an executive room which was quite spacious for a London hotel. They even had a computer with internet access in the lobby. I couldn't have asked for a better overall experience & will stay at this hotel again.
Location was great. Lobby of the hotel was very impressive. Nice touch with the piano player. Really small single beds. Room was small also . The view from the window was appalling industrial bins and rubbish everywhere only looked out once and then closed the curtains.
It's location. There was no air conditioning - which was unbearable. And rooms were much much smaller than they looked.
The Friendly approach of the staff, nothing to much.
close to Kensington park and the tube at lancaster gate lack of thought
location and helpful staff i had booked an executive double but it was so small and basic we asked to move to a suite for an extra 50£ a night
Staff are friendly & the breakfast is gorgeous The bedroom was very small & you had to stand on a slant to have a shower
Lovely room- executive room. Clean and comfortable. staff very accommodating. Fantastic location for shopping & sightseeing.
The location is very good for us. The hotel-staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel is excellent and suit us very well. We like to come back again and stay at room no. 248!. This was the third time we stayd Corus Hotel Hyde Park. The only thing we were not so happy about, was that we had asked for a special room , no 248. We asked for that room in our booking. That was not notified.
We found our room on the 10th floor to be extreme quiet and although the heating was not working we were left a radiator to plug in. The menu choice in the Olio Restaurant was restricted.
Of the five nights we stayed there, when we returned to the room at night very tired the electronic keys did not work on three separate occasionsand we had to go back to the lobby and get them reprogrammed.. Dining reem was marginal in selections.Location was fine for young people with tube and bus service nearby, no shopping or other restaurants nearby.
the location was very good the bedroom was very dated, cold and we kept getting the smell of cigarette smoke through the air vent
I liked everything during my stay at Commodore. Location is fantastic - very close to 2 underground station, to Hyde park, but at the same, being on the "2nd line" from the park it's in a very quiet area. Continental breakfast with quite a big variety, didn't feel a need at all to order English breakfast. Nice building, clean rooms. Heating was out of order one night, but was fixed quite quickly (it was a problem of the entire building and not of my room only). There's no free wi-fi in the hotel, but for me personally it was not a problem, having it on the phone. The only thing that really bothered me is that having asked to pay the total amount for the whole stay upon checking-in they couldn't give me at the reception receipt for payment immediately. But on the next shift of the same receptionist it was settled with no problem.
Location and fireplace Very creaky bed!! Small room
The staff were attentive and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The lounge is comfortable, with lots of reading matter. We had tea and sat reading for a while in the lounge on our last day , very good and a fair price. We had a drink in the bar after returning from Wembley, drowned our sorrows in nice surroundings watching the game again! We will go back again. I asked for the extractor in the bathroom to be fixed, it wasn't. The headboard was noisy.
Room was very nice and quiet None
Good hotel, fab location Some of the furnachair needed updating in the room
Friendly staff. Excellent location.Nice breakfast. Soft pillows!
Staff were helpful, keeping our luggage before checking in and after checking out for as long as we wanted. Our room was on the 7th floor which was fine, bar the fact it was -2 outside and the windows were very old and let all the cold air in, so that even with the radiator on full the room was cold.
Convenient location I think they need to renew towels as they were thin and hard!
Location. Close to the public transportation. My room was on the ground floor. You can hear the underground, loud and clear. It's really unaceeptable. Perhaps rooms in the first floor or above would be better.
Some great friendly staffs and the location was fabulous. I will Definately stay there in the future. The room I booked online was not what they gave me on my arrival. The size of the room was so small and didn't reflect the double room I had payed for.
Staff was really helpful and nice. Tasty candies at the reception :) Very small bathroom and only hot water in the shower, but OK for the price.
Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and efficient in a pleasant way.The hotel is in an excellent position for safe walking access to everywhere or finding transport when necessary. The bed was comfortable and the roomwas a perfect temperature with an opening window! It was very good value for money.
It's a very nice and comfortable hotel. It's near the underground and near Hyde Park and near to some nice restaurants and shops...The staff was very helpfull and friendly... It's a very nice place, though the room was not very clean and there was a lot of noice...people started painting very early in the morning and there was a lot of noice...
Pleasent and helful staff. The hotel is clean and comfortable
stuff was really nice, and building is very beautifull - all this stairs and location is comfortable enough - hyde park in 2 minutes walk, 2 tube stations next line clearness of the room. when we arrived we found some litter in the wardrobe and during our stay. and sound isolation - we could here everybody doing everything, especcially in the corridor
The staff Tube noise was fairly significant. Also, the bathroom was extremely small in the single room.
Very close to many shops, staff kind. The web wireless doesn`t work in rooms in the basement.
very convinient location: nearing 2 subway stations, Tesco and various chinese & italian restaurants. nearing Hyde Park where is the best place for walking and jogging. average breakfast. bad sound-proof. too narrow single room, uncomfortable bed.
location, staff, style room to cold, heating not working, air con broken
The rooms are of good quality, but rather small, and very clean.
very well located, two tube stations near the hotel, modern interieur. Very tiny room. I lived alone in a double room, so it was ok. I had to sleep with ear plugs (cause of the noise).
It is an up todate, modern hotel. Breakfast brilliant For the money I paid, I was shocked about how small the room was. I was dissapointed, about the ironing board.
Very good location, very cleen, very good performance of staff. Very very small rooms
The hotel was very clean - cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in Lack of bar, but the small bed was worse (not a full double - must have been a 3/4 width bed). It was also very soft and sagged in the middle so we rolled towards one another and didn't sleep too well.
Most Amazing location, a minute walk to Bayswater tube Station. Great staff, fantastic service. Clean, well appointed rooms. A nice relaxed atmosphere. Bed dipped in the middle and the curtains didn't fully shut meaning the room was bright from very early.
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on a sightseeing/shopping trip. I can be very picky about hotels but this one was excellent. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was lovely. The hotel was very modern and clean. The rooms were lovely and finished to a high standard. The bathroom was very modern and clean which we loved. The hotel's location was excellent; in a quiet street around the corner from a busier street and Bayswater underground. Couldn't fault the hotel at al and I look forward to visiting it again in the future.
great location, free wi-fi internet I have no complaints
Excellent location, only 2 minutes to Bayswater station. I find the front office staff efficient. The lobby attendant helped me with my bag checking in. When I bumped into one of them on them on my way down, he took my luggage down . Hurray for wonderful service...And toilets and room are clean and odorless. Room is extremely tight, with a great plush double bed! Wardrobe is tiny. Good for 1 person , maybe 2 maximun! Well for the price, what can I say in London!
cleanliness and quality of room and fittings walls a bit thin so you could just hear the other guests
We arrived and we're booked in and then told that 5 he hotel was having renovations and we were being put in another of the groups hotel...told we could have early check in at other hotel. Into a car and 5 mind later at new hotel which was very nice but no early check in..compensated with free breakfast. On the whole good hotel but annoying be a use of the change and there were lots of guests in she position Not being informed of change of hotel
The location & accessibility to the city. Luggage facilities, laptop safe in room & complimentary internet access were excellent. Size of room - was quite small & no iron/ironing board
Great room - perfect location.
Contemporary king size bed, near by public transport and good attractions. High price for room size and quality.
Location , breakfast and room were just what I needed for short stay
Very little was good. Location was okay. The restaurant associated with the Hotel was good but was not managed by the Hotel. Room facilities - no hot water. No refund, no alternative room. Reception staff unable to understand concept of a VAT receipt.
Comfort, cleanliness and helpful service
Excellent Hotela nd fabulous location right beside Paddington with great access to the tube. Rooms were very clean and modern. Highly recommended.
Friendly stuff, clean good location.
The location next to train and tube station, cleanliness of the room and polite staff. It's not possible one year before 2012 Olympic games in London to charge for the internet access Wi Fi or cable even at the lobby when all around the world hotels offer it for free (even the MacDonald's next door had a free wifi.)
Location is great, right next to Paddington Station & 3 different tube lines. Staff was pretty courteous and polite, just seemed unable to help with anything a lot of the time. They lost power on the last day of my stay causing me to oversleep and miss a meeting. Guess they slipped a notice under the door that I didn't see. More annoying though was just the lack of amenities at the price point I was paying. Not a good value for the money IMO. No mini fridge for 230+ USD a night? Entertainment was messed up too, ended up getting charged for 2 movies, neither of which I could finish because they errored out halfway through and there was no way to fast forward or resume the movies other than re-starting them and watching them again from the beginning. I called the front desk and asked about this, they ensured I wouldn't be charged, I was.
The hotel was chosen for its location. Great to have the underground stop just outside the door and to have the Heathrow Express literally minutes away. Paddington is an interesting neighborhood as well, especially for ethnic food dining. It is somewhat reasonably priced, which is a good thing, but you don't get a lot except location for your money--important to keep in mind. Rooms extremely small. Yes they are booked as compact but still--more like large train compartments. Rooms and halls a bit threadbare in spots, showers not all that terrific to use. Could be called "cozy," but little storage space. Front desk personnel not all that outstanding or attentive to their duties (like properly executing wake up calls, etc.) Garfunkels breakfast pretty bad.
Very clean and modern
Staff was super friendly and accommodating. They took pity on a weary, soggy traveler and let me check in ahead of time. Room was miniscule, not enough places to store things, very hard, tiny bed. Bare, cold floor.
like london city No - first night rong room, so little, not 4 star choise
beds very comfortable, nice quiet street, friendly comfortable atmosphere breakfast expensive and not overly inspiring
The location is great, the area seems to be a nice one and is close to a lot of metro stations. Everything, the hotel seems nice at first, but when it came to getting the room, we were given a room near the reception with an attitude of take it or leave it. The staff speak very poor English and sometimes it's hard to understand them. One the first morning we didn't have any hot water in the room, and when i complained, i got a manager that was explaining to me how the water is heated and how to open a tap, which i considered insulting. The night after that, they opened the door from the hallway of the room to the reception and i could hear everything in the reception, people talking, music playing, printers printing just like it was in the room and this was after mid-night. When i complained,it was again not their fault but the guests
clean rooms, quiet neighborhood rooms are small but this seems to be the standard in london
Having read some reviews prior to arriving, I was expecting a very small room and unhelpful staff. How wrong can you be, the room was a good size to accommodate 3 women, extremely clean. The staff were more than helpful. We didn't use the facilities as it was purely used just to sleep, however I would certainly use it again.
Location TV was out of order, I informed the staff but could get the result for 4days.
Location and cleanliness Breakfast selection (in buffet) was rather limited
Price was reasonable compared to other hotels and walking distance to paddington Gap under door meant corridor noise came in and also facing road so cars were easily heard - noisy room. Fine for a one night stay though.
Friendly staff, clean modern rooms. No residents bar.
The elegant lift! The staff and the location and price were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to my mates and visit again My room smelt of smoke when I walked in which was disappointing
Great location near the Tube and Hyde Park, I would stay here again if given the chance. Staff was great. Rooms were teeny tiny but bathroom was nice and big. Nice big shower as well.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room clean and spacious and the location convenient- all at a good price. No.
Bathroom, though very small, was modern and clean. Room was extremely small.
Quite convenient, nearby tube station and buses to major attractions are quite frequent as well. Breakfast included which was nice. Small room, very european style.
Nothing My husband and I did not enjoy our stay at the hotel. It was classed as a 4 star but actually was more 1 to 2 star. The bed was little more than a twin and definitely not a double. The wallpaper was ripped and stains on the carpet. There were no glasses in the bathroom to clean your teeth and the shower door leaked. The breakfast was awful too.
Moments from Kensington Gardens, quiet, clean, friendly multi language staff, reasonably good English breakfast, good value for three nights. Recommended. As always the case, a small room, poor wifi, mediocre quality TV and bathroom equipment, no fridge or minibar, no air con.
When we arrived there was no record of the booking. The hotel put us in the honeymoon suite at the same price
Just the location and at the reception Mr Angel Really old Hotel. The Bath door couldn't get locked etc. Also hairdryer was inside broken which can really cause life danger...
right next to Hyde Park, Kensington, close to the Palace, and several tube/bus stations. The room was tiny, no big deal that's a European hotel, but it was filthy. The shower was dirty, there was mold in the bathroom, one of the lights was dangling out of the fixture, and the carpets all had weird stains. I was on the top floor close to the elevator and could hear a clunking noise from the elevator every time it was used. With so many hotels in the area at comparable rates, there has to be one better than this.
I liked the room - the beds were good, the bathroom was big an clean and the breakfast was very good I have no complaints
They were very helpful in letting me check in early. Also, when I asked where I could buy a wall plug for my phone they gave me one to use overnight.
This hotel offers a good value for money experience. The check in was quick and efficient. The room was basic but clean. No complaints. Everything was fine.
Lovely and helpful staff, good value of money, excellent location and 5 minutes walk to Paddington tube station there was no good internet connection as i stayed in the fourth floor!! Howerver, they allow me to use the computer downstair for free :)
The concierge was welcoming and friendly making ease of booking in. The Lobby was comfortable and offered good facilities. The 5th floor room small but adequately sized for couple, clean but furniture missing and bare wall (namely bedside cabinet) the bed was soft, old and dipped in the middle making sleeping very uncomfortable. The shower was tepid. No hot water. Parking was charged at £15 per day (unknown charge). Breakfast was basic and cold when served. Standard of breakfast poor for £7.50 per head. Staff available but standing around, breakfast procedure not explained, guesswork used.
Staff were good room was warm and clean Size of room very small even for one person. Accommodation not pleasant in fact it was archaic. Would never stay again
It is close to the city center. Too old and small rooms.
The Location Floor was making sound. Room had the size of my own entré.
Location is in the centre, near underground station, Oxford street 10 min by foot, Guide park in 2 min Very small room, 2 krans within the bathroom for hot and for cold water, breakfast finish at 10 am,wheb the staff founded us eating at 10.00 they asked to leave the dining room (not to finish our breakfast). Very cold within the room (in november)
Excellent location, close to Hyde Park and great travel communications from Paddington, London W2. Rooms are small but good value for central London.
location, staff friendly enough rooms weren't clean and a little dated
Central for a theatre/concert night out in London on a budget. Decor in room a bit tired
Location was great. Value for money pretty good. Cleanliness was only ok. The 'little things' were not up to the standard I would hope for from a 4 star hotel.
Location, close to Padidngton station, Talbot square was quiet and nice street, but still close to everything. Although room was quite small, everything was clean ans suited well for city break traveller.
no comment, ok. you can hear almost everything from the bathroom of nex room.
Good location on quiet square. Close to attractions, but away from the trafic noise at night. Room very comfortable for 3 people. No!
It was a very comfortable hotel in a great location, minutes from Paddington station and Hyde Park. Reasonably priced for London.Staff very pleasant and helpful. On check out we were told it was cheaper to book directly with the hotel which was incorrect as I always check that prior to booking.
Location is the best among all. At a quiet square and only less than 5 minutes casual walk from the Paddington Underground & Train Station. My room is a Club room (Still small but expected) which was clean and comfort. The rate include buffet breakfast which is good too and the breakfast is acceptable with many choices & good service at the restaurant. Reception Staff were not helpful and laugh at guests whom could not find the exit when they came down to the lobby by using the stairs. And the most important is they charge Wi-Fi for GBP 12.50 a day which is very expensive. It is not a 5-Star Hotel!!!! They should also fix their windows as freeze winds leak in the room during the night.
The staff were wonderful There was no natural ventilation or air conditioning in our room which made the nights rather difficult to deal with
Comfortable hotel, ample room in bedroom and bathroom. Excellent location regarding easy access to Paddington Rail Station and the London Underground. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. No bad points regarding our accommodation at the hotel, except that on departure we requested a black taxi cab to take us to Victoria Rail Station, details below.
Peace and quiet, and the neatness of the hotel I booked for a double room and was given a twin room which was most uncomfortable. It took a lot of trouble and noise making from me to get the hotel staff to merge the beds together to make it look like a double room as they claimed that they did not have a double room for me that I booked for. dissappointing. I was most uncomfortable.
check in/out was swift
Staff were polite and tried to be helpful The smallest room I have ever had anywhere -- even in Japan. Many guests were complaining about the size of the rooms. the safe did not work and was not replaced. The breakfast was mediocre at best.
The service and cleanliness were all fantastic - gracious and helpful. Location is also excellent - quiet but close to underground, Hyde Park and lots of restaurants. Smallest room I've ever stayed in and I definitely didn't expect that from the photos. In the end the room had everything I needed but was really small.
I liked the comfort factor the hotel provided. Checking in was a slight problem as staff didnt listen to me properly.
Location is good, so is facilities, esp. pc and shower
Staff were very helpful, I forgot something in the room and they found it and kept it for me to retrieve Room unbelievably small. Should not be allowed by law! (Probably isn't!).It was 2.5 mt x 2! The bathroom was 2 mt by 70 cm! The bed was just stuck against the window. I had to put the coffee and tea tray on top of the closet, or there wouldn't even be any room to put my briefcase in. Absolutely unacceptable. To reach the room, you had to go through so many narrow corridors and level changes (3 steps here, 2 steps there, etc.) that to do it with two bags was a complete nightmare. I don't even want to imagine what it would be like if you were in any way challenged in your movements.
Location to Paddington and Edgware Road Tube Stations. Good breakfast Single room provided was very compact but very well appointed
The fixtures in the hotel were all new and of excellent quality The room was tiny. No bath, the bed was against the wall and there was no space to sit other then the bed.
Nice clean modern rooms & good location Nothing
Loved the location, attentiveness of staff, cleanliness of room and lobby, etc. Rooms small but comfortable TV Signal was not good, practically couldn't watch tv.
Beds are good, location is ok. Hotel is quiet. Got an upgrade. Staff was not polite/not interested in guests. Kind of ignored us the whole time we spent there.Room is very small, even for a Club Room
Good breakfast, functional, close to Boris bike station and Grosvener Vick, short enough walk to west end My room was very close to the street outside which didn't feel entirely secure. It was also small and I would have prefered a room with a bath rather than a shower, although the shower was good. I think the price was competetive.
Guestroom too small, exist from the guestroom in case of emergency extremely risky
All staff was very welcoming and helpful. Excellent situation. Area is quiet and close to underground station and Paddington. Lots of nice and reasonable restaurants. Walking distance to Hyde and Kensington Parks.
location - near Hyde Park Very small rooms.
Lovely room, good breakfast and superb location adjacent to Hyde Park, near Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate tube.
room was adequately clean and service was fairly good there was half bar of soap left in the bathroom from previous guest- this should have been avoided
Very good location.Handy for tube and Paddington station. Friendly and helpful staff.A must on my next visit
Nera the city centre The room was very very small
Have stayed at hotel on previous occasions and can honesly say i do like the refurbishment that has taken place.Looking forward to next visit. Keep up the excellent work.
I was bumped off a late night flight and refused to stay two nights at Heathrow - so booked very late 10pm and arrived 15 minutes later. All documents were already at the hotel and the staff very understanding. Fantastic location at Lancaster Gate! Very clean!
Silence and comfort
The breakfast was ok... The lift was horrible. We could hear the people in the next room easily, the bed was uncomfortable, the breakfast-room cold and unpersonal, the bathroom door would not stay open.
I expect the level of quality when I come to a Hilton hotel. I am pleased that this hotel lived up to that standard. It's a great location especially if you are coming from or going to Heathrow airport. I booked my stay not directly through Hilton and as a result, I did not get Hilton honors points. If you allow a non-Hilton company to offer your product you should also offer everything that goes with it.
Convenient location and can enter from Paddington Station. Good for a quick 24 hour visit. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are dated and no blow dryer in the bathroom.
Quick room service delivery. Followed instruction and kept booking overnight for dawn check in. No hot water for shower after dawn arrival. Complained, promised to respond but did not. Defeated whole point of paying an extra night's booking for early arrival after long haul redeye flight. No heating in room. Eventually deducted one night from bill as compensation. Very inattentive bell desk.
It's proximity to paddington station during the tube strike!
Good location No slippers offered .no free ontetney
Location is easy access to Paddington. The service was horrible at the front desk upon check in. Our reservation was cancelled without notice and the hotel refused to honor it (even though they admitted they had rooms). We found another reasonable hotel where the service was exceptional. Avoid this place!
Location, location,location....nothing else. Overprice for just a Standard Hilton Hotel.
The comfortable room and the quiet. The long elevator queues.
Very nice and conveniently located above Paddington Station. No complaints on this one!
Service, room, gym all fine but for the price you are paying for location.
Convenient to Heathrow while still being in London but super expensive. Tea for two at the hotel was 32 pounds ($50) and they gave us one pot of tea, one scone, 3 tea sandwiches, and four tiny pastries. When we asked for more tea they just put more hot water in our tea pot. We finally complained when we saw that a couple next to us got two scones, but we had to go thru the manager and our meal was over by then and we were full from drinking hot water. We knew we would pay a premium by having tea at the hotel but we were tired from our travels and were disappointed that the staff was so inattentive.
The location of the Hotel No Clear Policy for the extension of the stay for few hours ( 1 or 2 hours ) , the evening shift told me yes its possible they might charge 20 pounds , but the morning shift refused and ask for one day full payment :( and one more thing i didnt like in the hotel , they refuse to store the luggage for 2 hours :(
Looks nice, very good value for money, staff is very friendly Rooms should be refurbished, double bed shouldn't be made from two single beds
very good staff and location handy double room supplied to small and no storage no climate contol as in cool air if required
The room was clean and not too small. Courteous staff even during a rush at check-in time. Location is good as it is close to a couple Underground lines and a 15 minute walk to Padington Station (where the Heathrow Express train ends). No Air Conditioning. Room was on the 3rd floor and the heat was almost stifling. Surprising given outside the temps were only in the mid 70's (F). They provided a fan, which made it bearable. They also limited the amount the window opened, making it very hard to get in fresh air. I would stay there again, but only when it is very cool out.
Nice tub, and was very accessible to the tube, nice bed and very comfortable stay. Some of the wires behind the bed were still jutting out and should have been covered. The bathtub needed some repair work.
Easily accessible from London Heathrow to Paddington (10 minute walk) and very good location for tubes into city centre or access to Kensington and Hyde parks. This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. Bathroom slightly on the small side, and shower curtain leaked, but on the scale of things nothing major.
City centre, close to London's main attractions. Nothing ... except the "key" always failed! Not a big problem though.
during our stay, we could actually hear the hotel guest in the next room snoring in the night as the walls are too thin. it was also quite noisy at night as our rooms were facing the street
The non smoking restriction
breakfast was not so good
The location of the hotel The staff were extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. I was very disappointed. We also had no hot water so could not have a shower which was absolutely horrible and for this there was no apology when I mentioned it. Our luggage was not held at the hotel, meaning we had to make a very long and tiring journey on the tube from Oxford Circus and back to place our luggage at St Pancras which cost us more money and wasted hours of the few hours that we had. We booked a room with a double bed and it was two single beds pushed together which was uncomfortable! I am 20 years of age and have stayed in many hotels around the world and CP was the worst experience.
Location Size of the room there is no place even to put your suitcase
Great location; close to the tube, convenience stores, restaurants. Hotel was dirty, the bathroom was so small you couldn't even close the door and the staff was rude.
Location was excellent simply outside Bayswater Tube Station..... The fact that we were placed in the basement of the hotel, very claustrophobic , bars on the window made you feel slightly imprisoned, the hallways were too small for two people to pass at the same time.
The room was a bit small. Also, I much prefer the type of shower that can be detached for allover body spraying rather than fixed to the wall inflexibly.
great location friendly staff room is too small lift is too small used my credit card twice
Vicino ai negozi The staff were difficult. I paid by credit card. They wanted my husband's signature. Meanwhile, while awaiting the faxed signuture, I paid by cash for the first night. But my phone was cut off nevertheless. On checking out, I asked them to call a taxi but got another car service which cost double. I would not return.
Very clean rooms. Close to Hyde park. Rooms were small, placed a little below the ground.
clean / nice staff more choice for breakfast for buffet
noisey cleaning staff at very early hours in the morning the hotel in genral was very noisey and run down our room was like a 2nd class holiday holiday park accomodation out of date tired and grubbie, will not stay again
Perfect location. Very small rooms thin walls
Location This hotel the rooms are far too small.
